Chapter 53

~Ross' POV~

Riley being with Luke is really bothering me. I don't even know why. She needs to be mine. I need her back.

"Ross? What are you thinking about?" Ryland asked me.

"I miss Riley."

"Get her back." he suggested.

"I can't! She's with this kid named Luke. They are probably together already." I said.

"You're jealous."

"What? No!" I retorted.

"Yes you are! You can't stand her being with another guy. You have to do something and quick before it's too late."

"She won't hang out with me! She's too busy with Luke." I mumbled.

"Luke Hemmings?!" Rydel exclaimed, now appearing in our bedroom.

"Ya." I groaned.

"He is hot!" she said.

"See my problem?" I asked.

"You miss Riley." she said.

I nodded.

"You want her back." Rydel said.

I nodded.

"I gotta go guys! Riley and Luke are in her room." I said before running out.

I ran across the yard and into Riley's house.

"Riley, please." I begged.

"Ross, go away." she demanded.

"Riley, I gotta go. I'm meeting the band. Bye." Luke said before giving Riley a kiss on the cheek.

He. Kissed. Her. On. The. Cheek.

"Ri, what was that?" I asked.

"What was what?" she questioned.

"He kissed you."

"We aren't dating." she mentioned.

"About that..."

"What are you trying to say?" she retorted. 

"You can't be with Luke."

"I'm not dating Luke." she answered.

"I have something to admit." I said quietly.

"Say it."

"Laura isn't pregnant with my baby. She just told me that because she wants it to be mine." I mumbled.

"So..."

"I think we should get back together." I admitted.

"And I think not."

"Why?" I groaned.

"You're just jealous. You don't want me to be with Luke."

I was just silent. She was starring at me  when Luke walked in.

She ran to Luke and crashed her lips to his.

"Riley?! Are you serious! Come on!" I yelled.

"Oh sorry! Did you say something?" she asked.

"Riley, don't do this to me." I groaned.

"As much as I enjoyed that kiss, I can see that you and Ross have some unsolved stuff to deal with. I'll see you next time I'm in LA." Luke said before he walked out of Riley's room.

"Oh! Rejection!" I said, laughing in her face.

Tears gathered in her eyes.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry." I said, hugging her.

"No. First you come over here to try to get me back and then you laugh in my face." she sort of yelled.

"Riley, I didn't mean it. I miss you so much. I'm really sorry for all that I've done. Please just kiss me." I begged.

She walked over to me and crashed her lips to mine. I moaned because I missed it so much.

"Please Ri. Take me back." I pleaded.

"You have to make one promise to me."

"What? Anything!" I answered.

"Promise me that no matter how big our fights get, we will always say we love each other at the end of the day. Someday, we won't be able to run away because we will be married and living in the same house. I will always love you."

"You think that we will get married?" I asked.

"I have no doubt." she smiled.

"That's if I propose to you." I said.

"I know you will because you can't live without me."

"True." I said before kissing her.

"Now what?" she asked.

"You're mine and that's all that matters right now."

"Can we just forget about this?" she asked.

"Forget about what?" I responded before my lips met hers.
