Chapter 37

~Riley's POV~

Today is my birthday! I don't know if Ross finished his song or not. I'm taking it that he did because he just walked through the door.

"Happy birthday baby girl!" Ross said when he walked in.

"Thanks!" I said as we kissed.

"I finished the song!" he exclaimed.

"Thats great! When can I hear it?"

"Tomorrow when we premiere it on Ellen!" Ross said.

"OMG BABY THAT'S HUGE!" I screamed.

"I know! And you get to be on the show with us!" Ross exclaimed.

"Not so huge." I said.

"You'll be fine. I'll be there the whole time. You can hold my hand if you want." Ross smiled.

"Ok baby." I said.

"Here." Ross said handing me a small box.

"What's this?"

"Open it." he said.

I opened the box to discover a beautiful promise ring. It had a diamond infinity sign on it and engraved on the band it said "Ross and Riley. Forever and always."

"Ross, it's beautiful!" I exclaimed, giving him a kiss.

"You like it?"

"I love it!" I said and I put it on my ring finger on my right hand.

Ross came close to me and kissed me passionately. The kiss got heated fast.

"Lets finish this in your bedroom." Ross said, picking me up and carrying me to my bedroom.

·Later that night·

"So Ri, where do you want to eat?" Riker asked me 

"Um...I dont care." I answered.

"Its your birthday." Rocky said.

"What did Ross get you? Jewelry and a fuck?" Ratliff teased.

"Very funny." I laughed, my face turning red.

"How about we go here?" Riker asked, pulling into a nice resturarant.

"Sure." I said as I got out of the van.

·After supper·

"Dad wants us to rehearse for Ellen." Rydel said, looking at her phone.

"What song are we even playing?" Rocky asked.

"Ross' new song that he wrote." Riker informed.

"But you can't hear it so you have to go home." Ross said.

"Fine." I giggled as we got out of the car.

"I'll be over later." Ross said to me before going inside.

~Ross' POV~

"Do you think that she will like it?" I asked everyone.

"She will love it!" my sister exclaimed.

"One more time through then you guys can be done." my dad said.

We went through the song one time before I put my guitar away and ran to Riley's house.

"Baby!" I yelled through the house.

I went up to her room and found her asleep on her bed.

"You're so gorgeous." I whispered.

I climbed in bed next to her and put my arms around her. I pulled Riley close to me as I laid there.

"I love you Rossy." she whispered.

"I love you too." I said before falling asleep.
