Authors note:
Everything doesn't make much sense right now about who Danielle is or why she's considered the 'Menace of Hawkins'. But that will all be answered next chapter, well at least a small bit.
The original storyline was that Danielle was going to be related to Steve Harrington, but I've read so many fanfics where the main character is related to Steve. So, then I remembered Benny and I felt like they did him dirty. The fact that he had no family just bothered me and he deserved better. Throughout the story you will get flashbacks with the Hammond family. (Mostly Jessica)
Just to make the timeline clear, the first 3 chapters are before the events of 1983, then the next 6 chapters after are during 1983 the year Benny died. Just giving a background story on Danielle then it moves to season 2 where Max comes in.
