WHAT IS THIS NEW LAYOUT WATTPAD KEEPS CHANGING OMG I'M NOT USED TO THIS AT ALL omg. ugh i'm so sorry this took me forever and a day to upload i just have been so stressed out lately and my anxiety has been pretty bad so i haven't had time to write so i'm really sorry :( i hope you like this though and sorry to keep you all waiting :D enjoy! <3

I really just wanted to hide in the bathroom all afternoon, but I knew I had to eventually face Harry again. I just didn't want to. In reality, I shouldn't even be here staying with him. He was being way too generous and I had no way to pay him back at all.

After I finished my shower that I didn't even need in the first place, I got changed into my clothes — the ones that Harry bought for me — and blow dried my hair. Then, I quietly walked out of the bathroom, hoping to be quiet enough to sneak out. I found my sneakers at the bottom of Harry's closet and slipped them on without socks. I felt like I just needed time to myself.

"Maya," Harry's voice spoke up as I tried to sneak down the hallway. I turned to the room that his voice came out of and stopped in my tracks. He was in his office, sitting at his desk, now wearing a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. "You managed to hide in the bathroom for over an hour."

"I-I'm s-sorry," I stuttered as I stood in the doorway.

"Maya I just want you to know I'm not mad or upset with you by any means," Harry told me.

"I didn't mean it, I don't know why I said it," I rushed as I ran my hand through my hair.

"It's fine," Harry breathed with a smile. "Come in."

I took a small step into the room.

"Maya I don't bite," Harry said as he tilted his head at me. Something about him right now seemed so authoritative. Just Harry sitting at his desk with paperwork in front of him, though he wasn't in a full Saint Laurent suit as he usually was for work, made him seem like he was in power.       And in reality, he did have power. He was the CEO of his own company.

"Do you still want me here with you?" I asked quietly and nervously.

His light green eyes looked up at me. "Of course I do, Maya."

"B-Because I don't want you to feel obligated to help me because I'd be homeless without you."

"Babe," Harry whispered as he stood up from his desk, his height immediately taking over me. My heart started racing at the way he said the word baby as his eyes stayed on me. "Why would you ever think that?" He walked around his rich mahogany desk and leaned back on it as he looked at me.

"You just randomly took me off the street one day. I-I don't even know why. You didn't even know me and now I'm living with you here and last night..." I put my hand on my forehead. "And you pay for everything for me and I don't know what I can do to repay you for all of it."

"Spend time with me," Harry whispered as he leaned forward. "That's all I want from you."

My eyes looked up into his and he smiled lightly.

            "Were you going somewhere?"

            "O-Oh," I stammered. "I-I just didn't k-know if you..."

"Didn't know if I...?" Harry looked at me expectedly.

"I was just going to go for a walk," I breathed. "Sorry."
