Yui's POV
"Akase, thank you for spending your time with me," I said while my head is on his shoulder.
Then we heard the door suddenly opened, so we both looked at the person who entered and saw that it was Steve and Yuno.
Akase and I both stood up, then Yuno grabbed my hand and Steve stepped in front of me, preventing Langston to come to me.
"Good evening, CAPTAIN Langston," Yuno and Steve said, emphasizing the word captain.
What's with them? They're acting weird.
"We would like to ask you to stay away from Yui now, please," Steve said.
Langston was just looking at them blankly.
Then I suddenly felt warm air brushing through my skin. Who is it?
I looked around but no one is here except for the four of us.
Someone's watching us again.
"I'm glad you found friends who will protect you, Yui," Langston said.
I can sense that Yuno and Steve were surprised because Langston spoke. I know that feeling too, it's so cold and so empty, I know.
"W-we're also honored to be Yui's friends, but please stay away from her," Steve said.
"Why are you forcing him to stay away from me?" I asked.
"He's a guy, Yui," Yuno said.
"And?" I said.
"Is there a reason for him to visit you here alone? Unless he wants something from you," Steve said.
Wants something from me? Huh?
Oh, that...
"Don't tell me you believed Steve?" I asked Yuno, but he looked away.
I laughed, "HAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe you, guys. Where did that idea come from?"
"Tss."
"Well, Yuno told me he almost kissed you," Steve said.
"HAHAHAHA! Yeah, he did," I said.
"WHAT? Then our decision is right--"
"But you got it all wrong! HAHAHAHA. I'll just explain it to you guys later," I said then I walked towards Langston and patted his shoulder, "But for now, I want you all to be nice to him, okay? Treat him as a friend," I said.
"Why later? Why don't you explain now?" Yuno said.
"Because...someone's watching us... again," I said. Then the warm air disappeared, he/she left already.
Then Langston walked towards the window, "I'll go now. See you again next time, Yui," he said.
"Bye bye, Langston! Take care!" I said.
Then he held the back of my head and pushed it gently to his lips and kissed my forehead softly.
Then he smiled and jumped off from the window and flew.
"W-w-why did he do that?!" Steve shouted.
"Tss, I hate that guy," Yuno said while frowning.
I laughed, "Come on, guys!" I said then I cling my arms on their back and then we went outside.
"Yui, I'm glad you're okay now," Alyssa said as soon as she got to me, she's with Ethan and Felix.
"I am! I'm sorry I got drunk earlier and made a commotion. He-he," I laughed awkwardly.
"That's alright! We fixed it for you," Alyssa said.
"T-thank you," I said then I let go of Yuno and Steve.
"Tsk, stop making troubles, Yui. You're not a kid anymore," Felix said.
"I know that's why I'm sorry," I smiled.
"Tsk, do I look like I care?" He said.
"Felix, stop it," Alyssa said then she glared at Felix.
Felix walked away, "Let's go," he said.
Then we all started walking until we reached the hall. Then the people looked at us and started whispering again.
"She's the girl from earlier."
"I thought she was sent outside."
"Why is she still here?"
Ugh! I'm so tired of hearing their judgement.
"Ehem!" The king suddenly spoke, so the crowd looked at him, "Thank you all for attending the ball and for celebrating the 750th Anniversary of this kingdom. It will not be successful without your help, so thank you and take care. I am now ending this party and see you all next year," the king announced. Then the people started clapping, I did not bother to clap.
Then captain Luttrell walked towards us and smiled, "I saw what happened earlier," he said.
Then he patted Felix's head, "Well done, Felix."
I looked down, "I'm sorry, it was my fault," I said.
"That's alright, just don't do it again," he said. "Now stop looking down, keep your heads up."
So I looked up quickly and the captain chuckled.
I pouted, "Hmp! I'm mad at you, captain," I said then I crossed my arms.
Alyssa and the others looked at me.
"Why?" he chuckled.
"I was looking for you earlier, I wanted to dance with you," I pouted even more.
He laughed, "I'm sorry I don't dance."
"Hmp!"
"Tss."
"Maybe next year," he said then Alyssa and the others laughed, except for Yuno.
Then we started walking, "Dark Spatial," I chanted then we all entered the spatial and went back home.
Home, of course, this is my home.
Before we all part ways and go back to our rooms, I called them, "Um...I have something to tell you." So they all looked at me and they were waiting for my announcement.
"Umm... I found out that Captain Langston was one of my comrades from 300 years ago. His real name is Akase, so please, Yuno and Steve, don't fight with him. He's like a brother to me, we treat each other as siblings, that's why we are very close from each other," I said.
"Then why did he try to kiss you?" Yuno asked.
"I don't know. Maybe that's his way of saying hello... ha-ha-ha," I laughed awkwardly.
"Tss, I still don't like him," Yuno said.
I pouted, "Yuno, please?"
"I don't like him even before, when we were just teammates," he said.
"Why? Did he do something bad to you?" I asked.
"Nothing. It's just his presence and his empty face," he said.
I laughed, "He's really like that, even before, when we were comrades," I said.
"Tss."
"Alright, if that's the case then I will allow him to visit here anytime," captain Luttrell said.
"R-really!?" I said, I can feel my eyes twinkling.
"Tss, I'll go to my room," Yuno said then he walked away.
"Thank you so much, captain!" I said then I hugged him.
"I'll go to my room now," I said then I ran to my room and jumped on my bed.
Then I hugged Yuri tightly, "Did you miss me, Yuri? I missed you!" I said then I kissed Yuri several times.
Wait, when did Yuno return Yuri to me? I thought he borrowed it. Did he go inside my room? Or he returned it to me physically, I just don't remember it.
I shrugged.
Nevermind. At least, Yuri is here.
I lied down on my bed and took off my cape, then I closed my eyes slowly.
I sighed, "What a weird day."
Then suddenly, I heard my window shattered loudly.
I opened my eyes, I was so surprised by what I saw.
Those green bright eyes were so close to mine. He's staring at me straight in the eyes, and his two swords were pointing at my neck.
One wrong move and I'm done.
