It has been 3 days since the occurrence and everyone tried their greatest not to recall such happening it's not like a really good thing to reminisce anyway, well for Wei Ying at least he didn't dare recall how many times he was whip because of that specific happening.
Surprisingly, Yuan Successor (Y/n) becomes their newest and closest friend, the 3 of them started going to the young masters place every now and then. The four of them usually train together and study together of course since Y/n has the biggest place where they can be comfortable the three of the friends tend to barge into his house in no notice. The young master of the place didn't bother stopping them for he is also happy and somehow comfortable with the new found friends he had discovered with the small group of male.
Today was no different, Wei Ying was slouch on the big futon fiber field place in the middle of the young master bed room, while Huisang and Jiang Cheng was busy reviewing some books Y/n leand and some from the library.
Wei: why is y/n taking so long he said he will just get something to drink and yet he was taking forever? Should I go check on him??" he inquired eyeing his two friends who only sigh as the two briefly turned to look at their whining friend, it was true that the young master took really lengthy while and hasn't come back yet and so the two of also was beginning to worry about him.
Jc: I am sure there must be a purpose why he was taking so long, don't give him any more problem Wei Ying and shut up" he said as he turned his eyes back to the book he was reading earlier.
Huisang: Jiang Cheng was right let's just wait for him here I am sure he was just late to pick something up?" as he started to fan himself, looking back also into the book he was reading, he had loved one specific from the young masters libraries of collections and he was rereading it once again for the 5th time.
The said male just slouch more into the bedstead type sofa as he grunt in disagreement, with few more minutes passed the door slowly open revealing the male they haven't seen in the last thirty minutes. All eyes follow the sound of the door as they were greeted with the said male. He was grinning ear to ear as he look at his friends. With eyes that could practically make you fall in love with him, it was no miracle why so many maiden really is persistent with his courtesy.
Wei: shiz what took you so long y/n????" the said male look at the new face in the room, the said male only nodded as he slowly closed the door in his other hand was a set of snacks along with few liquor on the big table prepared in the middle of his room.
Y/n: sorry a messenger from our sect just came in to give me a letter it was something significant, also here have some snack" as he gently placed the tray of different and delicious food on the middle table which serves as his guest table. This is usual hang out peaceful time of the small group, they will be night hunting when they can and they will sometimes sneak out to town if they can escape Wanji.
After some time Wei Ying grow bored on the records he was reading, turning to y/n who was attentively writing something on the book, as one of his hand hold a different colored scroll which is about something he can't read from. He chuckled as he made way to the additional all so called male, not being noticed in instant he stare at the other male as the overly naïve male study his works.
Wei: hey master Y/n??, how about we go out the town again?? There this novel shop that just open last two days ago why not check it and see what we can get?" with the mention of the idea Jiang Cheng and Nei Huisang paid responsiveness to their friend, y/n on the other hand just nodded without prying his eyes from the book. This make Wei Ying pout in the process "Master Y/N pay attention to me" with that called, y/n's eye slowly turned to him meeting Wei Wuxians beautiful orbs.
In that moment Wei Ying felt something beating hard inside his chest, something he cannot understand with a sigh y/n nodded at him and spoke really few but concrete words. "After few hours Master Wei we will get there for now let me finish my report" the young master smiled as he returned his eyes on the report he was making. Unknown to him he managed to make the loud Wei ying shut up and blush like a tomato, Jiang Cheng and Huisang saw that but they both didn't like it. They fell somehow jealous of the attention that the master is giving to Wei ying.
Wei ying enjoyed the attention, he cannot pin point why but he loves the other male's attention and he sometimes wanted it all for himself and so the battle of the attention from the young maser spark jealousy to the young group of males.
JC: I will also come along with you young master so worry not about that Wei ying" the young heir from yunmeng managed to spoke with confidence, y/n nodded as he hummed in agreement words cannot express how delight Jiang Cheng to get his approval and by that the three of them managed to thing how many more hours will they need to get out in this place to have fun with their dearest y/n.
Minutes turns to hours and by then the three lost count how many times they sigh with anticipation from the young master. He seems to be too indulging with his works and being surrounded by books he lost his concious into the words he had let go earlier.
Few more minutes as the moment flows like rives and finally the young master stop writing from his book, with a nod he rolled back the scroll with this the three males giddily smiled at him, y/t turned to look at the small group of friends and just like that they heard him spoke.
y/n: I think it's time lets go?" the three stood up as they smiled at each other finally will be able to get out the room and be out in the sun, they started to talk about things and such as the young master follow behind them.
Huisang: we should go check the ice cream place this time they have new flavor" he smiled as the two continue to walk beside him. Y/n in the other hand just followed the small group of males as they passed by the opening of the gusu he slowly turned around to meet the shining yellow orbs of the ever so famous pair of the twin Jade Lan Wanji.
Their eyes connect like it was meant to be but then again with a nod y/n bowed to him and so did Wanji, after that Lan Wanji continued to walk his way as y/n tried to watch up with his friends.
The walk to the town is always fun especially when you have friends like the three idiots. They were able to go to the stores they planned to go and so the other they didn't plan to go to. It was just fun to see new faces and the crowd y/n loved being outside and since he was the heir of the yuan clan he wasn't given much of this or even so the privileged to go out alone. So when he was invited by wei ying to go out with them, even he knows it was against his rules he somehow took the chance.
The three of them were now sitting on one of the ice cream place near the deck of the town, Wei ying was happy munching his food as the two talks about somethings. Y/n was too focusing eating his own ice-cream so he paid much attention into it. Not long ago a spoon comes into his view as he clearly sees it taking few portion of his delight. Turning his eyes to the side he saw Wei ying smiling at him as he took the spoonful of cream from the young master's plate.
Y/n only smiled and nodded to him, " I forgot to mention" the three looked at the young master.
y/n: my sister will be performing the cultivation blessing dance for the next 3 days in Gusu" he placed his spoon on the wooded place.
Wei: is that the gusu?? Cleansing thing???" he looked at y/n for a while as they waited for him to speak again
y/n: ohh yeahhh somehow like that but somehow not like that too ahhahaa" he smiled with few words " but it was a tradition of the gusu to have it done every 5 yrs. The aim is to purify the falls that take away the pain and the stains into ones soul and mind" he said as he took another bite
huisang: I never heard such thing but I know about the dancing even so I only thought it was just for entertainment of the sect" he said as he fan himself once again
Jc: I somehow heard about it but I wasn't sure so why was your sister doing the cleansing?" Wei ying continue to take few spoonful of delight in his mouth as the conversation progress.
y/n: our clan was trained to do so, well every female from the sect knows the dance but of course you will need to amend one of the highest rank to do the dance. Last time it was my mother not it was my sister" you smiled as you finished your food. " it was a 3 days dance and so my sister will stay in Gusu place until so"
Huisang: that would be great I mean we can be friends with her" y/n nodded but frown a bit the three noticing this. " whats the matter young master?"
y/n: just" he laught fakely " my sister is better than me in swords" you said frankly, the three stare at you " not only that she was better in anything than me" you sadly said the three started to imagined an image of you being beaten by your sister.
Jc: well that's not so bad" he said to lighten up the mood, you turned to look at him with gloomy eyes "young master it's not like that" as he tried to take back what he said.
y/n: it's okay I mean she's older than me but hahahahhaa" you slowly stood up gaining their attention " we should head back to Gusu" with that the three nodded in agreement.
Upon their walk back to Gusu the young master failed the continues talk and chats of the three he was rather focus into something that he didn't noticed the commentaries and even the shallow questions directly at him. The only time he was back to reality was when Wei Ying grabbed him and moved him out the falling rocks of the steps, with that the three young male noticed how out of focus is the young master.
Jc: is there something that matter young master?" he asked as he walk back to the directed males name
Huisang: yeah you seem to be off ever since we left the town is there something bothering you?" he temporarily stop fanning himself. The young master turned to look at the worried eyes of his friends as he fake smile at them.
y/n: sorry I was just thinking about my sister she will be arriving in Gusu tonight and I thought that I might go and welcome her" with that the three nodded at him as they started to walk again.
Wei: we can accompany you as you do beside the more the merrier so why not?" as the group walk the path full of flowers and grass. As they reach the opening gates of the well-known Gusu they saw a carriage that is just about to be settled down.
Jc: I wonder who was that" with the question lingering in the air, the young master run passed them as he tried to stride fast into the carriage just before it the door of the said vehicle opened revealing the same face they had seen before.
Huisang: it was his sister" with the confirmation the three of them run towards the place as they tried to catch up with the young master, in time the young master was already in front of the vehicle the girl inside slowly appeared fully in their views.
As they note that she was wearing fainted rose smell with very beautiful set of make-up, it was like meeting her the first time again and this time the aura of the said maiden was somehow different.
Wei: wow she looks really beautiful" with that, the said young master extended his hand to his sister ( sisters name| S/n) with a smile and confused eyes accepted his hand.
S/N: I didn't know you will be welcoming me in the gates, I must say I am pretty happy" with that y/n nodded. As the maiden turned her head she saw familiar faces beside her brother " ohhh it's you again, hello" with a courtesy bow the boys moved to give her the same.
y/n: you're very early how was father doing?" the two started to walk inside the gusu place the three males following not too far behind the pair of siblings.
Huisang: If I didn't know them personally? I would think they were a couple" he whispers to his friends, but not liking the idea the three of them turned into sour mood. The young master didn't even paid them any attention when they entered the Gusu Gate but somehow in the back of their mind their trying to understand that maybe he missed his sisters so much and so the three continue to tail the pair of siblings as they reach the inner place of Gusu.
