(Four month later. 1998/ POV-Mel)
The kids were all in bed and Roger seemed distracted as usual. So, I went to take a shower- and Roger scared me to death when out of nowhere he opened the shower door, it seemed like a scene from that old black and white horror film when the crazy guy kills the lady in the shower!
Anyway there he stood, holding a notebook, glasses on and blue eyes locked on the paper. My heart was beating so fast I leaned on the shower wall for suport.
"Hey Lovely, dose your friend play anything?" I blinked standing there, hot water running down my naked body, looking at my fully clothed husband as he started scribbling something down. "Um- Johnny plays the bass Roger, you know that because John was teaching him back when the twin were little."
Rogers eyes finally left the page and he smirked eyeing me. "N-no I know that. I meant his husband." I sighed, soap still in my hair. "I think the guitar. Why couldn't this have waited until I got out of the shower?" He smirked licking his lips. "You think they'd want to be in a band?"
He asked avoiding my question. "I-I don't know. Johnny yea-most defenatly but I'm not sure about Ti- Why can't we disused this after the soup his out of my hair and not running in my eyes?"
He smirked and put the book on the sink, before pulling his sleep shirt off. He walked closer and cleaned my forehead of soup. Once he finished he kissed the damp skin.
"Now to answer your question love." He whispered taking his glasses off and putting then on the little table by the shower. "If I waited then you'd have gotten dressed!"
I scoffed but a big smile came to my lips when he grinned eyeing me once again. "R-Roger, what are you doing?" He laughed stepping inside the shower with me, still in his blue sleeping bottoms.
"Helping you get the soap out of your hair." He smiled kissing me softly and making a moan slip out before I felt his fingers start to massage my scalp making a longer groan slip out and my eyes close. I love when he washs my hair, his fingers are magic no matter what they do.
The water was off and the soup gone but Roger had my wrists in his hands and his lips on mine. He nuzzed his nose into my neck after placing a few gently kissed over what was sure to be marked skin by moring. "I love you." He whispered in my ear before trailling more kisses aroung my collar bone. "I- I." I started to say it back but shut up the moment he nibbled at the skin around my right breast. "Roger!" He smiled bringing his face back up to mine. "Shush baby the kids." He whispered before smashing his lips into mine once again. God I love this man.
The kiss lasted as long as we could go without breathing. We haven't really done much together in four months- well when I say that I mean making love. November 19th was really the last time we had full on sex. After that everything as been keeping us from being intament. Sure we share a quick kiss every now and then, hold hand and all that.
After Johns freak attack Roger and Brian have been working together. Trying to make something work. They don't want to have Queen without my dad and John but they also feel like if they gave up on Queen they'd be breaking a promise to my father. I hadn't known they made promises to him basically on his death bed.

But the last one -Keep Queen Alive - seemed most impossible once John quite.
He said he never made that promise. I can understand why he feels this way and I understand Brian and Rogers perspectives too. It's just hard since John lashed out, Quite and basically said he never wanted to see Bri again. (still working on getting the two men to talk at the moment)
And Roger has been in a daze, always working in that notebook, staying out to work at the studio or with Brian. Roger comes home and falling alseep or stays up all night, why I sleep. I just missed him- missed this. God did I ever need this!
"Mel?" I gulped looking into his eyes. "Mmm?" I was still trying to breath right after he pulled me into another hungry airless kiss. "What do you want?" He asked low still looking into my eyes. "Y-you." I whispered a shaking mess. It may have been that I was still wet or maybe just the fact that he was looking at me with power and love and I knew what was about to happen. A beautiful smile formed on his angel face before he finally let my wrists go to touch my face. "Funny because all I ever want - is you." He whispered so close to my face that as he spoke his lips brushed mine.
"Pl-please." I whimpered holding him tightly against me since I had use of my arms again. He smiled kissing the side of my head. He pulled back smirking and lifted me up like I was nothing at all. I mean sure I'm not that big but still.
He smiled at me as he packed me to the bed and just dropped me. I scoffed sitting up on my elbows to look at him.
He got out of the soaked bottoms he had on in the shower and got on the bed with me. Pushing me down and getting over me. He kissed my nose quickly looking into my eyes.
"I have one more question love." He said taking my hands in his. " I'm sure Johhny can convince Tim to be in our band but-." I blinked up at him. "Wait. Roger, o-our band?" I asked studying his face. "Yea!" He said sounding so sure and happy.
"Your on keyboard and vocals my love. Tim on guitar and Johhny on bass." He bent closer to kiss my lips quickly. "Now my question is-." He was looking right at me. Eyes locked with my own. "Do we know any drummers?" I snorted and started to shake under him as my giggles grew. He tilted his head and licked his lips giving me a look.
"What?" He asked eyes flickering over my face. "What's so funny?" He was acting so seriously. "Y-you!" I finally got out looking at him with a big smile. "Your a drummer Roger!" He rolled his eyes playfully. "Yea I know that Melody!" He said letting my hands go and running his over my side. "I meant anyother drummers?" I gulped when his right hand went to rest on the inside of my leg.
"N-no." I said in a shaky whisper wanting him to just do something. "I don't know a-any o-other drummers that arn't already i-in a-a ba-band." He was rubbing so close-teasing me!
"Mmm that's what I thought." He said lifting himself up and moving lower down me. "But we can work that out later." He ran both hands up my shaking legs. "Right now I have something eles to do." He winked at me as his smile grew. "You may need this." He said handing me one of the smaller pillows at the foot of our bed. I gulped getting why he said it and held it over my mouth. He chuckled spreading my legs open wider. "Ready?" I gulped and just shook my head as a small yelp left me.
