(POV-Roger)
"I'll be right back Bri." I called back to him, he just nodded going back to his papers. As I followed my wife down the hall she huffed clearly upset that I was following her, but I'm just worried. Something's wrong with her- she's not sleepy, I know having Fred gone hurts her most of all but something else is wrong, I can see it in her eyes.
She got to our room and I slipped inside, gently closed the door behind me.
"Melody?" She gulped facing away from me. I hate to see her like this.
I walked behind her slowly and touched her shoulders. "Lovely, what's the matter?"
I whispered rubbing them. "N-nothing!" I shook my head with a sigh. When is she gonna learn that I can read her? I groaned resting my head in the crook of her neck, I closed my eyes smelling her shampoo mixed with her rose perfume.
I placed a gently kiss on her skin making her sigh. My hands went to her waist and I pulled her tighter against me. "I've told you time and time again love, I can read you like a book." She gulped and twisted. So, she was facing me.
Her eyes were on the verge of tears and it broke my heart to see my girl in pain.
Gnawing away at her lip, she reached up to cup my face in her shaking hands.
"I-I just-. " She sniffed and put her head on my chest, wrapping her arms around my neck. "You what?" I asked softly and started rubbing small circles on her back.
"I love you! " She said it softly but powerful before she looked up to stare into my eyes. "You- Roger, I don't know what I'd do without you!" She started to really shake in my arms.
I'd be nothing without you!
"I-God-Roger!" She sighed and kissed my jaw a few times. I closed my eyes holding her tighter.
I wanted to tell her I didn't know what I'd do without her, My best friend, wife and mother of my children, my everything! My girl, the love of my life!
But now is her time to tell me what's wrong, what's on her beautiful mind. So, I just continued to rubbed her back, hold her tight and give her my full attention.
She stopped kissing my jaw so I opened my eyes to look down at her. "Mmm-."
"-Come here." I whispered pulling her with me to our bed. I sat down and gently pulled her onto my lap sideways. So, she could rest her legs on the bed and her head on my shoulder. I shivered feeling her warm breath on my neck. Stay focused Roger, here her out !
"Now, say whatever your feeling Mel. No matter what it is- just let it all out-." I smiled at her to try and calm her down. "-I'm here." I said kissing the side of her head.
I looked into her eyes and saw love, confusion and pain.
My poor baby!
She twisted so that she was facing me, with her legs and arms holding me tight, basically she's clinging to me.
"R-R-Roggie, I love you so much- I -." I smiled when she pulled back but it dropped when I saw her face covered with tears.
"I- just - with my dad gone, don't g-get me wrong- I know I still have my Mum and-. " She sniffed and I took the chance to kiss her nose to try and make her feel better. "I-Brian and J-John and P-Peter - We have so many people in our lives that care and love us but-." She stopped and just shook her head chewing on her poor lip.
"If I never had you- If I didn't come to understand the love I could feel for someone and the love that person would give me! I mean look at us Rog!"
I smiled at her, my eyes looking at every little detail of her face.
"We-we have six kids!" She started laughing a little to herself. " I love them with everything that I am and because of you - I have them! " She touched my face gently and I snuggled into her soft touch. "You know when-when I was around- oh twelve. I started to have a crush on you!"
I smirked at her. "Yea? I playfully asked with a look. She smiled putting her arms around me tighter. "And I thought - there is no way this supper amazing, talented and very sexy man would ever think of me in that way!"
I looked down and gulped. I really shouldn't have thought about her in that way then- But everything worked out, she mine and I'm hers and that's all that matters, our love.
"Well you were wrong Lovely - around Fourteen I- I just knew that I loved you!-" I smiled at her because she started to blush.
"-I just waited to tell you until you were sixteen!" I added looking into her eyes. "I broke it off with my last girlfriend before you -. " She shook her head looking into my eyes. "-Because in a way, I felt bad for her, I felt like I'd never truly love anyone other than you- so, it was unkind of me to string her along. I was prepared to be alone the rest of my natural like Mel- Because all I wanted was you. I'm so thankful to have you baby-" I moved her hair out of her face.
"-And let me tell you that I never thought you'd care for me more than a -a 'uncle' or something like that! I've known you since you were little love. Granted I never liked you." I shrugged and she scoffed playfully hitting the back.of my head. I couldn't help but smirk at her, she has to know I'm just messing with her.
"You were annoying! Always wanting to play games or bug me over something! " She frowned with a puppy face and I chucked at her. "I did however start to like you when you were around- eight, when we were staying at the farm and working on ' Night at the-."
"Wait!" I blinked looking at her. "Mmm?" I asked tilting my head, she started to run her fingers in my hair. The look on her face went from confused to a big smirk on her perfect lips.
"Wait-Roger, you had the hots for an eight year old!? " I rolled My eyes. Now she's messing with me!
"No- now you sound like Brian!" I huffed making her laugh but she's laughing! " I meant I liked you as a person you rotter! I didn't think of you as annoying anymore!" She smirked at me. "Well anyway not completely annoying- The fact that you help me get my song on the B- side helped your case too. So, maybe I should say it another way-."
She was giving me her full attention, focusing on the next sentence to come. I had to mess with her, make her smile again. I love that we can mess and play around with one another like fund-raising it's fun to be silly with her.
I cleared my throat giving her a very serious look.
"- I still think your annoying -." She scoffed at me. "-Somethings!" She got this look in her eyes and before I knew it I was forced backwards. "What the-." I was shocked that she pushed be like that. "Mel?"
She was hovering over me with an evil smirk on her angle face.
I know that look!
"Your mean!" She snapped with a smile on her lips. She had my wrists above my head. It's not like I couldn't just break away from her hold, but she looked so sexy like that.
"And your sexy! " I said smirking up at her. She rolled her eyes playfully with a small blush. She was over me in just the right spot.
"Mel?" She gulped looking down at me that sad spark back in her eyes. "Could I- I help you feel better? " I whispered looking up.at her. A small sound left her parted lips.
Gently I flipped our positions so that I was over her. With my hands resting on both sides of her head to keep me up.
"Let me love? " I asked staring into her eyes. "Let me kiss it and make it better?" The face she made killed me. Her breathing picked up and her hand came to my face. She traced my lips with her finger.
"I-It's been so long." She whispered low. I don't think she knew I heard it. It really has been. I need her and I think what's nothing her is she need me too. I took her small hand in mind and kissing it softly. She made a small sound as I started kissing down her arm, to her shoulder and stopping at her neck.
She started to shake again, but I think it was for another reason. "Well?" I whispered in her ear. She moaned when I kissed into the crook of her neck "Mmm Mel?" I whispered against her skin. I want to make sure She wants it too. I can tell she dose but- I want her to say it.
She just shook her head and held me closer. "My Melody Jer Mercury-Taylor." I whispered before kissing her lips fast, when I pulled away she was smiling. "My Roger Meddows Taylor!" She said with a giggle.
"Is this what you want Lovley ?" I asked looking into her eyes. She kissed me quickly making me smile into it.
My Lovley girl.
"Y-yes- Roger- Rog, please!" I smiled at her and went lower down her body.
I winked at her before pushing her dress up her sides. She gasped with her hands in my hair and cried a little when I touched her leg.
