Dense Wei Ying X Reader
The day is cheerful in the well distinguish Gusu Clan Sect, the season of spring is unusually early this year the blooming trees and the vivid colors of green can be noticed all throughout the place. The usual day in Gusu sect indeed, as the graceful snowy cotton fabric clothed of the direct Lan clan descendants pace their way to the halls of the gorgeous habitation.
The Twin jade leading the small group of young students walk gracefully around the halls behind the two well-known Jades was the almost same age younger male cousin. His hair is the equal as Lan Zhang beautiful shade of black hair, in difference it was tied into a high pony tail with long gold ribbon, also another striking difference of him was his eyes is noticeably red and lively. Their stride reminds the Gusu students behind them about refinement and sophistication the three cousin that is blessed with skills and talents.
These three males were indeed blessed with gorgeousness, endowment and expertise and with that in their mind the scholars somehow yearns for the eyes or even the spare glimpse of any of the three well known direct Lan clan members.
y/n was the youngest of the three, but he stood not too short when the three stand side by side when they stride his handsome face reminds how the direct Lan Clan genes must have such tremendous blessing when it comes to appearance. The impression of twin Jade is already too much, the two beautiful boys is already a fame known in Gusu but the time when y/n comes into Gusu to finally study with his cousins everyone assume that all direct Lan clan is blessed with beauty.
Not only attractive but majestic in all many ways, this was also the moment where the sect leaders sons are given honor to study in Gusu. As the three paced in grace they passed rooms by rooms, and each of the rooms' eyes and adoration marvels from the scholars who sees them were visible.
Nei: there they are again, walking all elegant I seriously wish I look as beautiful as them" the younger one with shade of black hair mumble to his two friends, Jiang Cheng only watch from the sideline as he hold his notebook in hand.
Wei: they sure do know who to get someone's attention" he added as he watch from inside the room, it was true that the three identical look alike males take too much attention but Wei Ying eyes normally and most of the time only focuses on someone.
The youngest of the three, the newest Lan that just came here this year he heard that this youngest cousin was not even consider Jade at all. With beauty just like a girl he had another term in use when being titled and so he had his eyes on that specific male all the time.
Wei: he was not even a jade, I am so envious" he said as he turned away when the three males passed his route of vision.
Nei: yes y/n is not a Jade at all but he has another title, he was called the Jasper, the golden beauty of Gusu. I am pretty shocked he was only acknowledged this year I am sure he would have been more well known if he comes here prior" he said as he fan himself trying to enlighten his friends of things he had heard.
Jiang Cheng: I didn't even know the Gusu direct clan has other male beauty such as himself, attractive in the same level of the twin jade" he added as he overturned another page of the book he was reading.
Nei: the girls from the other sect were almost going crazy when the three of those walk together, I seriously wanted to be beautiful too" with that he fake groan as he looked at his friends
Wei: don't worry brother you are already beautiful to us" with that the three of them continue their conversation in such carefree manner. The wait for their next class will be In due time and they still have enough time to talk but Wei ying's attention only tossed around the thought of the ever so beautiful boy y/n.
Time flies and moves like a flash and it's already 12 noon, the three boys were now on their way back to their dorm to have some lunch and if possible sleep but since Wei Ying is still energetic as ever he let his friends go back on their own as he tried to find a good hunting place to have fun.
The said male strides his ways in the convenient roads of the Gusu place, trying to find a very unfamiliar location to hunt he run towards edges to edges. Not long his walking were put into halt when he saw a small pavilion in the middle of the lake it was painted in a very generous color of white with details of green and ocean color of blue.
From a far he can see three figures, Wei Ying tried to go as near as he could but also trying his best not to be seen or noticed. Upon closer view he can finally see the figures, the two jade was sitting in the chairs set with a table and in front of them were the Jasper titled male. The three of them seems to be in the midst of training since their swords were floating beside them.
Wei Ying saw y/n's sword it was clear as crystal, detailed with white lotus inside the blade itself the light passed through the blade like water it also looks like mirror. It has white and green tassel around its edge and a very beautiful ornamental design bell that makes a beautiful sound when the wind hit the body of the sword.
Wei Ying can't help but look at the three most beautiful boys of the renowned clan, the youngest one shows faces he never actually see, a face of despair, sadness, discouragement and last of all unfulfilled satisfaction. In due time the twin Jade stood their way to help the youngest when they finally had a proper moment of training the twin jade made their way back to the main place leaving the youngest one to train on his own.
Y/n sit there looking at his sword and by this time Wei Ying had already made his way to the small pavilion, making his way closer to the younger male y/n turned to look who's behind him, he somehow thought that one of his cousins forgot something and so one of them was back here.
But due of his failed guess he came face to face with Wei Ying, y/ns eyes widen upon realizing it's not one of his cousin with a smile he slowly stood up and gave Wei Ying a courtesy bow.
y/n: hello I do believe I had never seen you??" with that he placed his sword back on his side as he made sure it won't touch the floor. The bell chiming in the process gives a soothing moment for the two males. Wei ying thought the sound of the bell is lovely and so he decided to note how it looks.
Wei: well we don't really have classes together but hey I am Wei Wuxian nice to meet you" he offered you his hand, taken a back you look at his hand back to his face you smiled as you nodded accepting his hand, this person gives you a very warm and comfortable feeling.
y/n: nice to meet you Master Wei" with that you gently let go of his hand as you settled your hand back to your side. Wei Ying took the time to study your feature starting to your face, the hair that frames your face and the small details of your lashes in short you were beautiful. Too beautiful for a boy he thought but you still look somehow manly in his views.
Wei: were you training with your cousins??" he asked you, turning to look at him you nodded as you settled your sword on the table taking your sit on the chair near it. Wei Ying follows when he saw sit he managed to study the look of your sword it was much detailed in closer appearance. The blade was unblemished like crystal it had the shade of snowy with emerald shade and inside the blade was actual white lotus blossoms. Taken at awe he stares longer than he expected you noticed this as you smiled at the wondering male.
y/n: how about you master Wei why are you here?" with that he turned back his focus on your face after recognizing the question he smiled as he spoke answering your inquiry.
Wei: well I was actually trying to find a good place to hunt here but I haven't seen anywhere good place to hunt." He pause as he looked at your sword once again this time he had a question " your blade?? Why is it clear like water??" with that you look at him, occupied by surprise you nodded as you tried a clear way to explain your answer.
y/n: My family specialized crystal making and from where I was from our crystals were the strongest, more durable than an actual Iron blade. Big Brothers swords are highly made with touch of our crystals and so the details and the power somehow managed to be at the same level. It's just my ability is not as good as them" with that you slowly glide your hands on your sword.
Wei: I can help you practice if you wanted" with the spark of offer you looked at him shocked and happy at the same time. You would really wanted to train more because you don't want to fail your cousins, but their fighting style is something you got used to for the last few months of training. You somehow thought having someone with different fighting style will definitely help you improve your own sword fighting skills.
y/n: that's a really good idea Master Wei" with that you smiled at the thought, Wei Ying saw your very genuine smile and from there on he can't get you out of his mind. Your smile is something had anticipated to see every day.
Time skip next Day ( in the dorm room)
Nei: Brother Wei you are awfully silent today???" he asked his friend who has been watching at the outside world from the window. Wei only groans as he turned to look at his friend who was sitting not so far away from him.
Wei: I don't understand but my chest pounds really hard, so hard it makes me unable to think" with that he looks at Jiang Cheng waiting for a concern statement that never actually happens.
JC: that's what you got when you kept consuming emperor smile everyday" he said as he took his place on one of the tables perfectly laid on the floor of their room.
Wei: maybe your right" with that he raised up shocking the two males " I'll be off for a while I needed to train with someone" with that he brush his clothing off as he was trying to get off some imaginary dust on it.
JC: and who are you training with??" with that he eyed his friend afraid that Wei Ying will do something that will affect him. With a smirk Wei Ying smiled and turned to look at them as he gave them a peace sign.
Wei: secret for now but when time comes I'll tell you two who it was, don't worry I won't cause any problem this time Jiang Cheng" with that he hurriedly walk out the door. Nei and Jiang Cheng only watched him with concerned eyes.
Nei: well I guess he was saying the true that somehow he won't cause us trouble brother?" he turned to the window as he watches Wei Ying runs out of their room place.
JC: I do hope so" he nodded continuing his book, but still he was concerned but somehow he decided to trust his adopted brother. With the years of spending and living with him he knows one thing about Wei Ying; He won't do anything bad to others and knowing that he decided to keep at ease.
When Wei Ying arrive in the place you two decided to meet up, he saw the figure in white holding a white sword the small bell chimes with small tune as the wind blew breeze on the male softly. The soft white clots flows gently as y/n stand in his place the breeze feels cold but delighted by the beautiful male. Wei Ying can't help but keep his eyes on the said male, he was just so beautiful.
Y/n turned to look at Wei Ying, he manage to sense the fast approaching male who is actually semi running towards him. Wei Ying shows a very vivid smile as he fast approach the standing male when he finally reach him he smiled and bowed to him. y/n bowed in respect as they continue to stride down the place where they decided to will train.
This routine continue for the last few days, Y/n started to yearn for Wei Yings attention even he knows it was wrong he somehow managed to clear his feelings towards the other male. Wei Ying bright and outgoing attitude had kept the young male motivated to train and so he yearns to meet the said male every day. Y/n was afraid of what he actually is feeling, this is new to him and it was not common to like a person with the same gender.
Y/n started to pay more attention on Wei Yings features, starting from his eyes which hold amazing colors and his lips which somehow managed to look pale and pink at the same time. Y/n failed to realize that he was indeed falling in love with the male he spends everyday training with, he makes it a rule to control and restrain whenever they were together which is really easy since Lan Clan first rule is CONTROL.
Wei: Master Lan, you should focus your swings more into your shoulders than your arms the burden and heavy weight will hinder your movement to glide smoothly" as he showed holding his Subian on his hand after showing off few movement, Y/n glided across the place imitating Wei Yings movement but even though he looks so gentle and precise Wei Ying sigh in disagreement.

Your movements are stiff and uncommonly different today" with the mention of this y/n nodded he has been trying to impress Wei Ying but all his advancement failed. He had no idea how to flirt and he can't go ask his cousins if so they found out that he actually like a guy he will be punished and guided by them.
y/n: I suggest a rest for a while master Wei" with the mentioned of the idea, Wei ying nodded as he lead the make into the shade. The two of them sit in the shade of the big and healthy tree with calm manner they decided to talk with something about their training, Y/n sitting upright and proper shows elegance even sitting on the grassy tow.
y/n sit there with beauty, even so he was actually thinking of ways to impress Wei Ying he had already given him wine which he bought from the town. Even gave him paper talisman to be offered off the last one was set of flowers which he saw the next day given by the girls from the other sect.
y/n had tried his best to give Wei Ying hints about his feelings but he also realized that Wei Yin is somehow like a rock he was so dense.
Yn/: master wei???" you asked the sitting male who seems to be thinking of something, Wei Ying only turned to look at you as he anticipated what you were about to say. With a smile he respond with a " hmm??" you sigh as you continued " had you ever like someone?" with that Wei Yin placed Subian down beside him.
Wei Ying tried to think, he was attracted to all beautiful woman but he was eyeing the certain young Lan for a while now but until now the feelings he felt was kept low and all this time he only think this was a mere adoration. " I think I do" with that y/ns eyes widen
y/n: how do you tell them your feelings??" with this attempt Y/n was already digging a very clear hint about his feelings hoping that Wei Ying will get it. Wei Yin only nodded as he think of few things
Wei: well you can try asking them out?" with that y/n looked at him
Y/n: would you go out with me???" with the mentioned of that Wei Ying smiled and nodded
Wei: Right just like that?? Then you can wait for their answer
y/n: I did ask??" with that Wei ying shows a face of confusion
Wei: what did they say??" with that y/n is mentally battling if he will face plant of slap himself
y/n: I guess they didn't understand me" with that y/n hung his head
Wei: you should try again sometimes" he added, y/n turned to look at him
y/n: do you want to go out sometimes??" with his response Wei Ying smiled brightly
Wei: that's a great one I sure they will say yes" this time Y/n wanted to slap Wei Ying hard this person is really a rock, y/n's face stays neutral as he listen to the speaking male. He wanted to tell Wei Ying how he feels but given by the shy timid attitude he cannot just tell it frontally like that. Wei Ying has no clue about how y/n was feeling he had wanted to be close to him but he failed to recognize the attempt of the male towards him.
y/n: we should stop for today" with that he stood up, Wei Ying was confused but agree with his idea. The two of them walk back to the main place unknown to them the twin Jade was watching the two for the last few days as they train. When the two males separate, the twin jade made their ways to meet their youngest cousin.
When y/n saw the twin jade he becomes nervous, did they see him walking with Wei ying?? Will they get mad at him being close to the said male??? Though and questions runs in his mind but it was stop when Xichen spoke.
Xichen: a moment please" with that y/n eyes widen as he looked at his cousin, hanging his head low he followed them. The three of them walked their way into the inner court pavilion where only direct lan clan can enter. The three titled males sit their way in each place a chair, served with hot tea the three sits in silence.
y/n: brothers??" trying to ask why he was being called there, Xichen smiled at him as Lanji nodded in agreement.
Time Skip, after the talk y/n was happy that he will not be punished finding out he actually likes Wei Ying. The twin Jade had seen his approach but the dense male failed to see this, Lanji and Xichen had given him advices how to confront the young master about his feelings and so y/n had decided to keep it at bay for the time being.
The twin Jade were walking out the halls after their talk, their youngest cousin had find peace in his dorm to sleep and so while the twin jade walks their way they saw a familiar figure. Young master Wei was walking towards them alone, they walk in grace as they stand in front of him
Wei: ohhh? Zewu Jun, Hanguang Jun" with that he vowed
Xichen: young master Wei, you really are ignorant in such things how saddening" Wei ying grows confused "our litter cousin might had hard time telling you but please do be aware of the people you are spending your time with" with that Xichen smiled, Lanji stood beside him with a poker face.
Wei: I don't understand but I will try my best" with that Lanji breathe out
Lanji: our younger cousin likes you that's it" with that Wei Yings eyes widen, Xichen bitterly laugh at how bold and straightforward Lanji managed to say that. With that Lanji stride past the stunned male, Xichen following behind. Wei Ying stands there confused at to what he actually heard.
He always thought y/ns approach were kind of uncommon but he never actually taken into consideration that it was like the romantic way. And from there he remembered the time he was asked by y/.n
Flash Back:

Wei Yings heartt pounds hard inside his chest, he had always admired the beautiful male but he never actually though he will feel this way towards him. With this he strides to somewhere trying to find the said male.
Y/d had just woken up from his sleep, he groan as he set the blanket aside not long he heard a loud knocking on his door. Startled by this he made way to the wood door opening it he saw the panting Wei ying with flushed face.
y/n: master Wei?" before he can ask him what he was doing there, he was engulf by a soft and gentle hug. Shocked by this his arms managed to keep them steady as he placed one of his arms around the smaller male's waist.
Wei: Master Lan I will go out with you sorry bout not recognizing your approach but I am really happy you had like me" with the sudden outburst y/ns ears started to flame as he felt embarrass about the sudden confession. He put his hands on his face as he hide himself from Wei Yin, Wei liking this side of his new found love teases him more placing his hands on the Lan males waist he called him off.
Wei: Third brother Lan, Er – Gege please take care of me" with that y/n peak from his hands, finally he can call Wei Ying his. Finally he will have him for his own
y/n: take care of me too" with that they both smiled.
