Katniss mother pov
It was five in the morning. I woke. I was pretty used to waking up at early hours by now because of everything that happened recently. Katniss was sitting up and breathing hard. She must have had a nightmare. Gale sat up and looked confused a little. "No I'm sorry. I had a nightmare. I'm sorry I woke you up." Katniss said. Her face was shiny with tears by now. "Here come here" he said gently. "I'm sorry. I haven't done anything but hurt everyone. I woke you up and I... I'm sorry." She said sadly. "Katniss. You have nothing to be sorry about. It's not your fault. You are being so brave." He said quietly. Katniss buried her head in his chest in a hug and then looked up. Gale leaned in and lightly kissed her. She smiled. They soon fell back asleep. My suspicions were true. I think that is a good thing. Now Katniss can be safe because of how much Gale cares about her.
