Issei was completely stunned, as Rias looked at him, this was the first time she had met him in person. She knew that he was the famous graduate of the Magic Academy that had even damaged An Ren, someone many could only dream of beating. She always wanted to meet him and talk with him in person.
However, Rias was not expecting Issei to act like this, sure she was known to be mesmerising to many but she never thought it would bring someone like him in a daze, as she was also surprised.
Unbeknownst to Rias, her beauty was not the reason Issei was in a daze.
Juniper soon called out for the two, as she spoke, "Issei, she will be your partner for the mission..." Juniper's words made Issei snap out of his daze, as she continued, "If you want a background about Rias and her past, I will give you a brief run through. She was born in the Kingdom of Hell. Rias is half-demon and half-human. She is well versed in fighting and uses Destructive Magic from her Demonic side. Rias served in the Military for 5 years, then joined up with Shadow Company, where she showed her sheer powerful might. So much of her was so renowned in both the Military and PMC Network, she was given a seat behind me, as one of the Empresses Hands, one of the Shadows."
Issei nodded in understanding while Rias became flustered from the praise, as he felt like she was different, but a part of him was just unable to adjust to it, as Rias mused, "Please stop...Empress.."
"There is nothing wrong in receiving a praise, anywho, Issei she will be your partner for the mission.." Issei looked at her and nodded, he soon turned to Rias who had lost her flustered look and gave a smile to Issei as she spoke
"It will be a pleasure to work with you Issei Hyoudou.." Issei nodded while still being nervous as he spoke
"Sure, it is..." Both Juniper and Rias noted that Issei was nervous, they did not understand why or what caused his nervousness. Juniper looked at Issei and wondered if he had ever met Rias before in his life, which she highly doubt it was possible, since most, if not all of the people that Issei met are known to her, and Rias was not one of them.
"Is something the matter, Issei?" Issei shook his head and responded, "N-No, nothing, nothing much..."

Issei is seen looking at the Arcadian capital in awe, with seeing the Academies fight'.

For the first time, he felt a bond with someone, as a silhouette of the Big 3 is shown, with Invictus beside him along with Nyx and Ophis.

A memory of his asking to be trained by Azazel is shown, as he ignores him.
He tried to ask Grayfia for training but she rejected him, he was persistent only for someone to threaten him with death.

Issei gritted his teeth, shattering his memories, as he runs to Arcadia with his new family.
The settlements of Arcadia is shown, with different cities being shown. Issei and Nyx walk across them with awe in their eyes.
The scene changes to Persephone and Hades studying in their respective Academies, learning more.
Issei is seen having a friendship with the members of the Original 15 along with Nyx and Invictus, with a silhouette of the Shadow being shown.

Issei is seen clashing with Jaune, both having smirks on their faces.
As a blonde haired woman and Nyx cheer on the two combatants. Invictus and the others of the Original 15 watch with interest.

Issei looks at Arcadia, here is loved and cared, while there he is hated, in his old world.
He knew that a world that did not appreciate him, doesn't deserve him.

Issei tries to remembers his past feelings for the girls, before they fade away. He soon encounters a version of Ingvild that is different than his Ingvild.

Issei is pushed forward by the Big Three, allowing him to move on from his past.
Juniper and his family see in happiness, seeing his smile that was not present for a very long time.
Nicolas has a smirk as several men and people with weapons are seen as his target was the Arc Family.
His desire to rule is shown, as Juniper has a look of horror and despair.

Issei rejects Nicolas's offer of joining him, angering the man even more, as he fights against two Members of the Arc Family.
He watches in horror as Juniper shares the same expression upon hearing Nicolas's intentions
The Arc Siblings fight against the traitors of the Arc Clan, while a Red Haired woman has a sinister look on his face.
The Big Three along with Issei fight off against the last of the Nicolas's forces.
As Juniper and Nicolas clash against each other, with Issei assisting her as well. Both having a smile on the horizon, as they end the fight.

Issei shook his head, shocking and surprising the Arc Council, who wanted him to be the Emperor. Even Juniper is stunned by this answer of Issei.

Issei and Juniper, along with their families watch the horizon of the Arcadia, now that things are getting better, having a smile on their faces.

The scene changes to a Issei with a different appearance being shown, along with his and the Arc Family standing behind him.
Opening End
Palace Pathway, Mysthaven, 10:00 PM
Rias and Issei were heading towards the Palace Pathway, they were in the city of Mysthaven, governed by Elizabeth Arc, it was described to be a beautiful city with several floating locations and buildings.
Issei also had gotten a change of clothing as well, he now wore standard Military Grade wear, which was a black zipper shirt, black pants, with a black belt. On top of that he wore a military vest that had covered his chest to his lower stomach. He also wore an Arcadian Symbol, which was located on his left side.
"So Issei? What is the plan?" Rias looked at Issei, who was still aloof, as she snapped her fingers to Issei which managed to get him out of his daze, as he spoke
"R-Right! Okay, so our target is Freesia Von Bismarck, right?" Rias looked at him and spoke, "Yeah....I asked what plan do you have?"
"We will infiltrate inside and play to their strengths, however we must make sure Freesia does not get an idea that we are here to capture her..." Rias nodded as Issei brought out a castle layout, as he continued.
"Once we enter, we will enter on a mission, we shall have a normal conversation about a fake mission with the Governor of the City Elizabeth, since she is a spy so she will be interested in our conversation. That way, we can lure her out, she would want to listen to our conversation to update either Nicholas or Vlad, and this would allow us to capture her.." Rias nodded, it seemed like a good plan in her eyes, as she then asked
"Is that why you did not want the Empress to send an army?" Issei nodded as he spoke, "Yes, yes that is why I did not ask her to do so.."
"Now I think we should head there as soon as possible, wouldn't want to keep Lady Elizabeth waiting..." Rias nodded in agreement, as she walked ahead along with him. She looked at Issei, as she noted him being aloof, and not cheerful. She heard rumors of him being friendly and cheerful but here, he was aloof, and not responding when she tried talking with him.
"Hey Issei, mind if I ask you something aside from the Mission?" Issei looked at her and spoke,
"No, once mission is over, you can.." Rias had gotten a bit annoyed from the response, as she looked at him with an annoyed expression, as she spoke, "Fine..."
"Speaking of mission, I wanted to ask, would Freesia even fall for this trick of ours?" Issei looked at her and nodded,
"I was expecting you to ask that, that is why I asked Lady Elizabeth to already put a small silencing barrier such that we can show that our conversation is important, this would make Freesia break the barrier. However, this would not only be her biggest mistake, but also would let us know that we are watching her...I have already prepared a viewing magic circle that will show us what she is doing...our goal is to at least prevent her from leaking any more information..." Rias nodded in understanding as she spoke
"Got it.."
Both Issei and Rias were inside, as an Arcadian Shock Trooper spoke with a serious tone, "Lady Rias, Sir Issei...Lady Elizabeth is waiting for you.."
"Lead us to her.." The Shock Trooper nodded in understanding, as he lead the two to Elizabeth's personal quarters, the two were walking across Elizabeth's personal room seeing many portraits depicting several Arcadian Historical Events that belonged to this city, as well as a portrait showing two figures one in complete light yellow and another in dark purple, lying on the ground in defeat, as four figures were on top of them, Issei recognised them to be the Four Founders of Arcadia, that comprised of Anastasia, Apricity, Aurelia and Aurora Arc, the first Arcs, known to slay Gods, this made Remnant free from their grasp.
"If you are wondering who they are, they are those dastardly brother Gods that were the reason Remnant was in a mess, and still is, in the Four Kingdoms..." Issei nodded in agreement, as he spoke, "Yep, read about them in Magic Class, Aqua told me about them, when she talked about them..in history of Magic.."
"Many Arcadians are known to hate the Brother Gods, so it is no surprise if you find us hating them..." Rias spoke with a shrug as she continued, "Anyways, we should get going, we can't keep her waiting.."
"R-Right.." Issei walked forward, however someone was following them, and this was Freesia, she had used Stealth Magic so the two won't detect her.
She smirked knowing that they will be heard by her and she can report it to Nicholas, she would enjoy gaining his approval and eventually his love.
Unbeknownst to her, Rias and Issei know that she is following them, and have made the necessary precautions to deal with her. Once they entered the chamber lead by the Shock Trooper, they were greeted by Elizabeth, who greeted the two with a smile.
"I am glad the two of you could make it, we have much to discuss..." Elizabeth was informed on the plan and she was more than happy to assist the two in capturing the traitorous Faunus. It was a stage act to lure Freesia to them.
"Indeed, so what is the plan? How do you deal with the alien planets? From what we know, some of the other Earths hate and fear our powerful tech, so we need to plan accordingly.." Issei spoke while bringing out a magic circle and creating a Data-pad, which was basically Data Generation Magic, another of Issei's Magic creation. Elizabeth was marveled by what she was witnessing, Issei was able to create his own special Magical abilities for his own uses and purposes.
"The Planets in red are the ones that have a history of attacking Arcadia, which includes the Earth Defense Force(EDF) to name one of them, and then we have the Combine, the list goes on and on....out of this, we know for a fact that those will join the Black Arms, without hesitation...so we can go after them, what do you say?" Rias nodded in acceptance as she spoke
"I agree, but even then, genocide is only an option when we have none left, right?" Elizabeth nodded in agreement,
"Indeed, Rias, Issei, you two must play your cards carefully, especially you Issei, you don't have any military experience, so you should be with someone that does..." Issei nodded, albeit he seemed reluctant, especially with the person that was beside him. He still thought she was the same Rias, due to her looking like and having the same name as her, even her voice is the same.
But when it comes to personality, Rias neither knew Issei properly nor she was even aware of how he is. She only heard of him from his achievements, and was completely different, she was a Half-demon, instead of being a Pure Blooded Devil, and was mature and understanding, like she knew what she was doing.
Rias looked at him and seemed annoyed from her expression, even Elizabeth wondered why Issei was reluctant on working with her, was she someone that Issei once knew? That was impossible given that Juniper even stated this was the first time they have been working with. Rias, on the other hand, did not understand why Issei was so nervous in working with her, she has never met him, so why would he be, this nervous.
"Issei, are you okay?" Elizabeth asked with a bit of worry, to which Issei nodded as he spoke, "I am, alright Lady Arc.." Elizabeth nodded, as she then muttered after a moment.
"Well, let's end this charade..." Elizabeth looked at the two, with Rias readying her restraining magic and Issei having his Seven Retribution of Thunders, to immobilise her completely. The Sniper Rifle was strong enough to do so.
Elizabeth snapped her fingers and the doors opened much to Freesia's surprise, Issei immediately disabled the magic, as Elizabeth asked with a surprised tone, "Freesia, what are you doing here?"
"N-Nothing Lady Arc, I was coming to visit you...to talk about the Black Arms.." Both Elizabeth and Issei narrowed their gaze when they heard of this, she was clearly lying, and her words clearly showed that she was lying, as Elizabeth asked
"Why would you want to hear about the Black Arms? Didn't I ask you to complete the work I had assigned you to do? That was to round up all the troops to defend the city?" Freesia seemed nervous with Rias and Issei almost ready to restrain her at all costs. Elizabeth then spoke with an angered tone.
"You didn't? Did you, and here you were listening to our conversation about the Black Arms? I asked you to do a simple task, yet you failed to do so...do you have a reason?" Freesia was speechless, Elizabeth was never this angered with her, but before she could even think anything else, Elizabeth spoke, "We also know why you were hearing our conversing, you are the one that has been giving information on one of my cities about Arcadia, weren't you?"
"W-Wait, am I n-not the one who didn't, p-please Lady Arc, don't l-listen to this outsider!?" Elizabeth gritted her teeth and radiated her aura making Freesia fearful, as she shouted with pure anger.
"DON'T LIE, FREESIA, I KNOW YOU ARE WORKING FOR THE BLACK ARMS!! NOT ONLY DO YOU BETRAY US, BUT YOU ARE THE REASON WHY MY CITY WAS ATTACKED AND SEVERAL OF MY PEOPLE WERE KILLED!!!" Freesia gritted her teeth in anger, how in the world did she know of the truth? She glared at the two, she was played for fools, by the trio, how could this happen? Nicholas won't be happy with what had happened. Issei and Rias looked at each other and walked forward with Rias speaking in a very cold tone.
"Freesia Von Bismarck, for betraying the Empress and being complicit in many innocent Arcadian's death.." Rias readied her circle and aimed it him, with Issei doing the same, while reducing the electric output to stun her, as she spoke coldly,
"You are under arrest!"
Freesia gritted her teeth as she shouted, "You won't take me alive!"
Freesia unleashed a huge magic spell and aimed it at the ground, Issei immediately used a magic circle that blocked the explosion protecting them, with Elizabeth assisting him, the explosion created a dust cloud, as there was damage to the door, but Freesia had escaped.
"We must get to her, now!" Rias declared as she rushed outside, with Issei nodding as he spoke but he remembered the people as Elizabeth spoke with a tone of assurance, "The Civilians can handle themselves and are in different locations, try to lure Freesia out of the city, so that she can't overpower or harm any innocents..."
"As you wish!?" Issei and Rias both headed out, with Elizabeth creating a protective magic circle so that no one can be harmed, she knew this chase will harm innocents and she did not want to risk it.
*Scene Change*
Mysthaven Houses, 11:30 PM
Freesia was dashing across the houses and buildings, jumping on the rooftops in Mysthaven as she tried her best to escape, her goal was to find Vlad and get him to teleport her back to the base, she couldn't stay here for much longer.
Gritting her teeth in anger, her only issue was that she could be no longer of any use as a spy for the Black Arms, she vowed to make the one responsible for this pay with their lives, however just as she was escaping, a bolt of lightning was aimed towards her, she dodged it as she turned around at her attackers, and this was Issei and Rias, both using their wings to fly, Dragon and Demon respectively.
"Issei, can you find a way to stop her advance?" Issei looked at her and responded, "Leave that to me, I have some of my creations that can work!"
"Understood, I will create an opening for you, leave that to me..." Rias gathered some of her energy as she looked at Freesia heading into the alleyway of Mysthaven, she started to run from there as she called for some spies to slow down the two with their advances.
The spies started to aim their Pistols and Assault Rifles at the two, as Issei brought out his Grips of Tai Xuan and froze their bodies making them unable to move, seeing the opportunity, Rias used Aura Hellfire, to take them down immediately.

The Men were immediately killed by the impact creating several explosions, Issei was surprised by the powers of this Rias, as he was beginning to see the difference between the two, the duo rushed ahead to hunt down Freesia as they had gotten an aerial view seeing her still running, they decided to swoop and continue the chase.
"So that move, what exactly it was?" Issei asked with a tone of surprise as Rias spoke with a proud smile, "It was my Aura Hellfire, I combine Aura with my Destructive Magic from my Mother's side allowing me to do this...but it would be nice if we head ahead, I will tell you about it later.."
"Understood!" Issei dashed forward as he brought out Judgement of Shamash in his hands, while putting his Sniper Rifle back, as he flew into the air, Rias kept using her Aura Blasts killing anyone that got in her way, which included spies for the Black Arms, Issei also did the same, burning any unfortunate Black Arms spies that were trying to slow or stop their progress.
"Ah! It burns, make it stop!" One of the spies begged Issei, only for him to give a cold look to him, as he died in the flames, Rias soon asked
"So that's the power of the Judgement of Shamash!?" Issei nodded as he spoke, "Yep, heat as strong as the Sun, it's time to finish this, Rias, flank from another side...I will chase her down! Take down anyone that gets in your way!"
"Got it, leave that to me!" Rias headed to another direction, as she had a massive grin on her face, she is going to enjoy hunting down those traitors that were affiliated with the Black arms, while Issei kept chasing her around.
Issei couldn't bring out any of the other God Keys, especially not the Star of Eden or the Black Abyss White Flower due to how destructive they are. Those were the ones the Empress asked him to not use, no matter what happens.
He eventually shot a fluke shot at her front creating a lava pool which prevented her from escaping, she was forced to take a different route. She was forced to take a left, not knowing Issei intended to corner her and subdue her, thus ending her chase.
She kept running while using magic to push Issei back, but failing every time, she gritted her teeth knowing how persistent Issei is, and hated him because of that. She eventually saw three giant walls to her front, left and right as she looked in horror. She soon turned around to see Issei having a grin.
"Nowhere to run, now Freesia?" Freesia glared at Issei, as she responded with anger.
"How dare you ruin and interrupt our goal of domination? We will make sure you regret it, Nicholas and Vlad will make sure you regret it, Boy!" Issei only shook his head and spoke.
"You really think those two traitors can stop the Big 3, then you are dead wrong, so you have a choice, either you can come quietly or..." Issei then aims the revolver at Freesia making her grit her teeth in anger as he continued, "Or we can do this the hard way..you call..."
"Tsk! Nicholas will one day rule over Arcadia, and he will take me as his wife, that is why I won't surrender to you!?" Issei looked at her dumbfounded, he couldn't believe the stupidity and audacity of this woman, as he spoke to her coldly.
"Are you serious? That man, who can't stay loyal to his own wife, manipulated her for more than 20 years, and mocked her while she was at her lowest, will take you as his queen, then you are a bigger idiot then I thought..." Issei was ready to fire the Revolver at her as he spoke
"I am giving you one last chance..surrender or you will be forced to surrender!" Freesia glared at him in hatred, how dare he insult her Nicholas? She will make him pay one day, once the Black Arms gets their upper hand on him and the others, but she had to escape from this location, or they will capture her and torture her for secrets and that is not going to happen. However, just as Issei was about to fire, someone shouted gathering their attention.
"Hyoudou!" Issei and Freesia turned around to see Rias having a nail in her stomach, and a sword aimed to her throat, she gritted her teeth in anger and helplessness, as he looked up to see who the attacker was, it was a White Haired man with white eyes. Rias was completely tattered with several bruises and injuries, even her clothes were torn as well.
Freesia then spoke with a smile and hope in her face, "Vlad!"
"That's him!?" Issei spoke with shock and horror as Vlad exclaimed in response, "Let Freesia go, or else Gremory will die!"
"I am sorry Issei, this bastard ambushed me with the nails and subdued me!" Rias then shook her head and shouted, "Forget about me! Just complete the mission, capture her before she can diverge information!"
"I can't, I can't let you die in this mission!" Issei looked at Rias, she was not a coward like the one he knew that would be dependent on her older brother, she did not fear her death and now he could see it.
However, her face looked too much like the Rias of her old world, and she even sounded like her, Ddraig tried to reason with him, as he spoke, "Partner, snap out of it, she is not the Rias Gremory of our old world..."
"I will do it, I swear, release Freesia or I will tear her throat off!" Issei flinched as he saw Vlad bringing his knife closer to her throat. Rias then shouted, "Issei, don't listen to him, even if my life goes, it will at least go for the sake of Arcadia!"
Issei was in complete turmoil, he had to act quickly, he looked at Rias of Arcadia, she was nothing like the Rias of his world. He had to save her, but he also remembered about Freesia, the traitor. She couldn't escape, he looked at the Faunus who was grinning happily, gritting his teeth, he raises his hand up and speaks
"Okay! Okay! Let her go, and I will let Freesia go! Does it sound like a deal!?" Vlad grinned maniacally as Freesia jumps towards Vlad, with Vlad kicking Rias to the ground, who manages to recover, the two escape as Rias grits her teeth in anger, as Issei asks
"Are you okay?" Issei asked with concern as Rias responds, "I am fine.."
"If it weren't for me, we would have captured her, I am sorry for letting my guard down..." Issei looked at the location where Vlad was, as he used his magic to remove the nail from her abdomen, as she felt her magic be restored, as Issei used her healing magic to help her recover.
"Thanks....and sorry for letting my guard down, that bastard weakened me using a nail of his..." Rias spoke angrily and coldly, as Issei shook his head and spoke
"Don't be sorry Rias, be better..." Rias looked at him and nodded, this was one of the things Issei used to tell himself whenever he used to fail in his creations.
"And besides, we will encounter her again, at the very least we prevented her from spying on us, let's head back and report this to the Empress..." Rias looked at him and nodded, there was nothing they could do, as Vlad saved Freesia before she could be captured.
*Scene Change*
Juniper's Mansion, Arcadia Capital, 12:00 AM
Juniper looked at the two as she was relieved that the two came back alive, as she looked at Issei and Rias. She heard of the mission report courtesy of Rias, they were partially successful. Only managing to make Freesia not able to send more information to the Black Arms, and failing her capture.
She gritted her teeth in anger, not at the two young ones, but at Vlad for using Rias as a hostage to prevent this from happening. She also had more respect, for Issei for putting his partner first over the mission, even when Rias asked to sacrifice herself so that Freesia could be captured. Regardless, she wouldn't blame him even when Rias would have perished for gaining Freesia, instead she would make Vlad pay personally for all his crimes.
"I am sorry Empress...if it wasn't for my weakness, we would have Freesia under my custody.." Rias spoke while bowing towards Juniper making her stunned, she shook her head as she spoke, "No need to worry, I am just glad the two of you are safe, that is all, and we can capture that traitor another time, not to mention look on the bright side, you managed to not only get rid of Freesia from my sister's city but also you managed to root out many of the spies that were present in her city, you should be happy that you managed to accomplish more than what I expected..."
"But still.." Issei spoke in sadness, as Juniper looked towards him as he continued, "Had I made better judgement, none of this would have happened..."
"Don't blame yourself, Issei, for someone that had zero military experience, you managed to perform exceptionally well....you did a good job for the mission, so you should be happy..." Issei did not seem happy, Juniper looked at him as she knew a lot has been going in Issei's head, she knew he was worried sick for his family due to the Gas attacks that had happened.
"Go have some rest, Issei...we will talk tomorrow...it's too late anyway.." Juniper spoke with a gentle smile, as Issei looked at her and nodded he soon left the room, as she looked towards Rias and asked
"Before I send you away, mind if I ask a personal question?" Rias looked at Juniper as she responded
"Sure, is something the matter?" Juniper responded with a smile, "How was he?"
"His strategy was exceptional. He had no experience, yet he was able to corner her pretty well, had it not been for me, we would have even captured her and brought her to a detaining facility..." Rias spoke with a sad smile as she continued while changing her expression into a worried one, "However he seemed nervous and aloof throughout the mission, like as if he did not want to be near me, and wanted to get away from me as far as possible..."
Juniper took Rias's words into an account, she also noted Issei flinched when he saw Rias the first time. She looked at Rias and asked with a bit of concern
"Tell me Rias...did Issei meet you before? Or did you have an encounter with him?" Rias shook her head and spoke
"No, not at all, I only heard his achievements from the Demon Kingdom, that's it...I mean today is the first time I have even met him, your highness..." Rias spoke with a tone of seriousness as Juniper nodded in understanding, not finding any deceit in her voice. She had become more alert to anyone that would be deceptive to her, as Juniper spoke with an understanding.
"Very well, you may leave.." Rias nodded with a bow as she spoke
"Thank you Empress..." Rias soon left the room, leaving the Empress alone in her thoughts, as she spoke with a sigh.
"Just what happened to you in your old world, Issei..." Juniper knew that his past was bad, all she knew was that he was betrayed and his life seemed to be bad enough for him and his family to escape, but why would that happen, and just how bad it was.
All her questions will be answered soon enough.
