Karaoke nights were definitely a big thing in the compound, they were everyone's favourite night, a night where they could forget everything around them about work and stress and just have a little bit of fun as adults, it had been a while since their last karaoke as everything has been super stressful.
Still, Tony found a night where everyone could do, that night being tonight, and it was Y/n's first karaoke night. Not that the young girl knew what that was, but she was excited as Natasha said that she could sing and dance so that was fine with her.
"Y/n, we have 2 hours, if that. Lets just get ready before we choose some songs" Natasha said drying her hair and coming out of the bathroom, Y/n trailing closely behind her. Y/n was one of those toddlers that followed their mother everywhere they went, but Natasha didn't care because she knew Y/n was safe with her.
"How about this, this is pretty huh" Natasha set out an outfit on the ground, only for it to be stomped on by Y/n's small feet, Natasha glared up at her daughter not very fond of the attitude she had.
"Alright enough of your attitude and help me pick you something to wear or else i'm putting you in pyjamas" Natasha said sternly, Y/n whined stomping her foot before falling onto her knees beside Natasha and looking at the set of drawers which held all her clothes.
"I wanna wear dress" Y/n pouted, her arms crossed over her chest angrily as she mumbled her words, Natasha's eyebrow perked up and with a slight roll of her eye she turned to face Y/n and put the clothes she'd taken out to show back in.
"Why didn't you tell me that, we could've gotten you a dress already" Natasha sighed standing to her feet, the reason for Natasha's moodiness, was work. Fury has spoken to her and it was time for her to start working again, as in mission working, which meant leaving Y/n behind in the compound.
"I did tell you, but you was pooping" Y/n said looking up at Natasha who was now standing and towering over the girl, with her big puppy eyes. Natasha broke out into a chuckle at Y/n's words, bending down and picking her daughter up and sitting her on her hip.
"Well then, i'm sorry mama needed the toilet" Natasha sassed back bringing Y/n over to her closet where all her dresses where hung up, Natasha opened the doors and Y/n instantly smiled. Natasha placed her daughter on the floor and watched as she wandered, standing on her tip toes and tugging at a dress.
Natasha took the dress down handing it over to Y/n who squealed and ran back off to her room, sitting on the bed and starting to undress her self, Natasha stood, amused against the bed post watching as Y/n struggled dearly trying to take her leggings off.
"Mommy help me please" Y/n pouted looking over at Natasha who smiled letting out a laugh and bending down in front of her daughter, sliding her leggings off. Then was her t-shirt and vest, Natasha slid the dress over Y/n's head and flattened out the bottom of the dress with her hands.
"Are you keeping your socks on sweetheart, remember it's a wooden floor and everyone else will be wearing shoes" Natasha warned, Y/n thought for a little bit wanting to keep her feet safe, but then again she didn't want to slip over.
"No mama, i might fall" Y/n said seriously holding only Natasha's shoulders, she smiled and nodded her head standing back up to her feet and holding her hand out for Y/n to take, obviously she did and walked along side Natasha back to her bedroom.
"Can you sit here whilst mommy gets herself ready" Natasha asked sitting her daughter down in the corner of her room where she keeps her toys, Y/n nodded her head sitting quietly and picking up a bear, getting their tea party set up.
It was when Natasha closed the bathroom door, Y/n realised Natasha wasn't in the room anymore. She instantly stood up to her feet and rushed to the bathroom door, crying her heart out and hitting the door as hard as she could screaming out her mama's name as loud as she could.
"Hey hey, what's going on" Natasha panicked opening the door as fast as she could, picking up her baby and holding her close to her chest, Y/n's cries stopped immediately and she wriggled to be put down, Natasha set her on the floor and watched as she pulled Natasha back into the bathroom.
She then reached for the door and pulled it shut, making her way to the toilet and sitting on top of the closed seat staring at Natasha waiting for her to get ready, Natasha stared back at her daughter in confusion wondering what to do.
"I need to use that" Natasha said with a small smile pointing to the toilet Y/n was sitting on, Y/n looked down at the toilet and back up at Natasha pulling her confused face and tilting her head which made Natasha laugh slightly at her girl.
"Again?" Y/n said in her high pitched voice, Natasha raised an eyebrow, leaning forward and lifting Y/n off the seat and placing her on the ground, she tucked her hair behind her ear grabbing a rubber duck just to keep her amused and taking a seat on the toilet.
"Well, it's easy for you as you can go to the potty whenever you want" Natasha said which made Y/n giggle and throw her duck at Natasha, Natasha gasped picking up the duck and throwing it right back at her daughters head, maybe not the best decision and influence but she had to.
After a hectic half hour, Natasha and Y/n were finally ready for the karaoke night. Y/n was being carried in Natasha's arms downstairs to the room, it didn't have a specific name as it wasn't used to often but Y/n liked to call it the dance room.
"Hello girls" Tony said opening the door and letting the girls in, Y/n squealed shifting out of Natasha's arms and running off to her aunt Wanda who chucked her in the air and caught her again, bringing her to the floor and doing it again.
Natasha made her way over, giving Wanda a hug. Y/n was running around using up all the energy she could, then Tony called everyone over so they could start their night. It wasn't a party, so the only people there were the team, minus Vision for some reason.
"I wanna dance" Y/n perked up jumping up and down on the floor, everyone laughed at her making her blush and hide her face in Natasha's thigh, Tony picked the first song and chose the song mr brightside by the killers, he picked up the microphone and played the song as everyone got ready to dance.
"Coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine" Tony started, Natasha took Y/n's small hands in her own hands and started swinging them side to side, Y/n giggles jumping about then reaching for Wanda's hand and connecting everyone together.
"Gotta gotta be down because I want it all" Tony continued, Natasha called Y/n and told her to show her dance moves off. It took a while but Y/n finally started to dance, it was funny. The way she was running and and jumping twirling around, but it got better and Y/n was soon dancing with Natasha.
"It started out with a kiss how did it end up like this? It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss" Everyone shouted along, Y/n was now sat on Natasha's hip as the song went on, Natasha was swaying her hips to the song and Y/n was laughing at everyone dancing.
More people got up and started singing until it was Natasha's turn, she wakes up grabbing the microphone taking a breath and flicking her hair to the side. She took the microphone in her hand, looking at her daughter before starting to sing.
"I let it fall, my heart, and as it fell, you rose to claim it" Natasha started, Y/n's eyes widened as she listened to her mama's beautiful voice, sometimes Natasha would hum a Russian lullaby to her but wouldn't ever use her voice.
"It was dark and I was over. Until you kissed my lips and you saved me" Natasha kept going looking at the ground, she slowly looked up and met eyes with her daughter and smiled, speeding up her singing and becoming more confident, just from looking at her daughter's surprised face.
"My hands, they're strong, but my knees were far too weak" Y/n let out a massive smile as her mother kept singing, she wriggled down from Wanda's hip and started dancing around, shaking her booty and pouting her lips, Wanda chuckled and started to dance with Y/n.
"To stand in your arms, without falling to your feet" Y/n squealed jumping on her heels taking Wanda's hands happily, she would glance at her mother making sure she was still there, as if she was gonna run off, Y/n danced her little heart out to her mothers voice singing.
Once Natasha had finished, the whole room started clapping and cheering for her, she stepped down off the small stage and opened her arms when she saw her little red head running to her, scooping her up in her arms and kissing her cheek multiple times.
"Mama you are so good" Y/n cheered cuddling right into Natasha's chest, Natasha thanked her, giving her even more kisses, turning around when she heard Wanda's voice who was also congratulating her, Natasha also thanked her giving her a side hug and a kiss on the top of her head.
"Wanda! You should go up and sing, i've heard your voice you're amazing" Natasha requested but Wanda was quick to turn it down with wide eyes and shook her head holding out her hand telling her she didn't want to, but of course Natasha has her ways and soon Wanda was standing on the stage with a microphone in her hands.
"There's a fire starting in my heart. Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark" Wanda sang quietly and clearly nervously clutching her hands around the microphone, over the song she eased up and became less tense, everyone started cheering her on and she got louder as everyone dance.
"The scars of your love remind me of us. They keep me thinking that we almost had it all" Wanda sang, Natasha cheered loudly throwing one arm in the air as the other was holding Y/n bouncing her up and down gently.
"The scars of your love they leave me breathless, I can't help feeling" Everyone sang along then all started screaming the chorus, although poor Y/n was woken up, Wanda's voice clearly was making her fall asleep, Natasha rested her hand on Y/n's back giving her head a soft kiss, looking back at Wanda, feeling proud that her little sister was confident enough to sing like this.
