AUTHOR'S POV
Introducing Kuroo F/n, sister of the "bed head"captain, Kuroo Tetsurō. Living with her father after her parent's divorce, she studies at Inarizaki. Surprisingly, she hates sports, moving around and would rather sleep all day. How will she react when she's forced to spend a week with her overenthusiastic volleyball brother?
F/N'S POV
"Papa, do I have to stay with Nii-san?" I asked, silently begging he would change his mind. I love my brother but he's so annoying at times. Him and his chemistry jokes. Please, I'll puke.
"It's only for a week F/n. You won't die," he replied, handing me my suitcase. "You'll enjoy it. Who knows? Maybe you'll find a new boyfriend while you're there."
I glared at him. "You're just as bad as Nii-san."
He boomed a big laugh, ruffling my dyed hair. Yeah, I dyed the ends (f/c). Anything to look different from my brother's bedhead. Ion like it.
Haha, if I could puke in my own mouth.
My dad drove me to the airport. I hugged him before boarding. The old man was in tears, crying I tell you. He's so weird. I don't get him at times.
I yawned, getting comfortable in my seat. Waking up early is so troublesome. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. If Kuroo asks me to watch his practice, I'm shoving a foot up his ass.
TIME SKIP
"Hey, chibi-chan!"
I kicked his shins and slapped his cheek once he reached my height. "Hello to you too, idiot."
"Not going to greet your mother?"
"Hi, mom!" I said happily, hugging her. "Where's step-papa?"
"He's being held up at the office. He'll be here later tonight."
"Okay!" I placed my things in my old bedroom and hopped online.

My eyebrow twitched in annoyance. I logged into our server ready to mess with him. "You're gonna get it."
TIME SKIP
"I'm going out, mom! I'll be back for supper."
"Would you buy more mackerel on the way back?"
"Sure, mom! Kuroo, stop bribing mom to buy you food."
"I didn't do anything this time!"
"Yeah this time, air-for-brains."
I ran out before he could catch me. I didn't get very far before I had to stop. I hate running. Moving is so annoying.
I'm meeting my internet buddy at the pastry shop down the street. Nothing too fancy so I dressed accordingly. A (f/c) bucket hat with a white crop top and sweatpants. I paired it with white sneakers with (f/c) accents because why not.
I found a spot to sit. A booth at the far back near the window. It was removed from the rest of the possibly noisy people. I pulled out my phone, scrolling through basically everything. I'm bored. The sight of notifications rolling at the top of the screen makes me smile.

I looked up and I'm more than shocked. A boy with bleached hair walked up to me. He was wearing the same thing I was, but with more red and black accents. He looked good, really good. I held my hand out.
"Kuroo F/n."
His eyes widened for a second before shaking my hand.
"Kozume Kenma."
His name clicked in my mind. "Are you by any chance the setter my brother keeps talking about?"
"Knowing Kuroo, it's probably me. I never knew he had a sister."
"Divorced parents," I shrugged. "I live with my dad."
"Oh, sorry for asking."
I smiled. "It's fine. We're all on good terms. Have a seat. I already ordered something."
The waitress returned with a slice of apple pie and (f/d). "I remember you mentioning you like it."
"I didn't think you would." His eyes sparkled. Gah! He's really cute.
We talk about small things. You know, games, school and more games. It was fun. Eventually, I have to go back home. I don't want to though.
"Say, can I call you Kenma?"
"Yeah, I don't mind. Can I call you F/n? I'd rather not confuse you with your brother."
"Please do, I don't want to be confused with that brat."
He puffed a small laugh. "You don't like him?"
"He's so annoying. He's always making stupid chem jokes, which suck by the way. He keeps teasing me about my height. And he's always trying to get me out of my room. Like bro flip off!" I whined dramatically. Kenma laughed and my heart melted.
"You're cool," he said.
"Thanks?" I replied unsure how to respond. My phone vibrated. It was a text from my mom. I facepalmed. "Why can't I remember simple things? I completely forgot."
"What's wrong?"
"I was supposed to get mackerel for Kuroo-nii. I don't want to go back," I groaned.
"My mom usually keeps mackerel in the freezer for when Kuroo comes over. I don't think she'll mind sharing."
"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed, suddenly hugging him. It took a second to realize what I'd done and I backed off. "I-I'm sorry! Got too excited," I told said nervously.
"It's fine," he said with a faint blush on his cheeks. We went to his house and I met his mom (a lovely woman by the way). She gave me the mackerel and said I could come by anytime. I've unlocked free visits at Kenna's house! Best side quest reward ever. His mother insisted he bring me home and agreed without complaint to her surprise.
He paused when we arrived at my doorstep. "Can I see you again?" he asked quietly.
"Of course. Text you later?"
He nodded with a small smile.
"Bye, F/n."
"Bye, Kenma."
I walked inside and side-stepped the oncoming hug.
"Greetings, step-papa"
"That hurts, F/n."
"Mom, your man wants a hug!"
(S/f/n), don't bother F/n," she answered from the kitchen. I snickered at my stepdad, patting his shoulder. "It's nice to see you, dad."
He sighed, shaking his head. "You just love messing with me, don't you."
"It's what I do best."
I gave my mom the mackerel and headed to my room. Touching grass is overrated and I'm honestly tired of outside. Once I'm back online, I call a contact.

K: Hi.
F: What is the great Kenma up to?
K: Nothing much.
F: Wanna visit my island?
K: Sure.
I pulled out my switch and made him tour my island.
F: Pretty cool, isn't it?
K: Mines better.
F: No way.
K: Yes.
F: No.
"F/n, who are you talking to?" my brother asked from outside my room. I turned around glaring at him straight through the door.
"Someone cooler than you. Leave me alone."
"But I'm curious," he whined.
"Tetsurō."
"Fine, fine."
I sighed.
F: Sorry about that.
K: It's fine. It's funny to see you two interact.
F: You should see me fight him.
K: I'd pay to watch that.
I giggled.
K: Cute.
F: Did you say something?
K: No.
F: If you say so. Now that we met, wanna be in-real-life friends?"
He looked amused with my proposition.
K: Yeah, let's be in-real-life friends.
F: Sweet! Wanna go out again tomorrow?
K: I only have time in the morning. Is that okay?
F: Yeah, I'll swing by your house if that's okay.
K: Yeah, no problem.
We both left for supper but came right back. We spent the entire night talking until I fell asleep. Though I swear I heard him call me cute.
TIME SKIP
It's my last day in Tokyo. I'm leaving to catch the plane in about 4 hours (it's more like five because my mom is over preparing again). This week has been amazing. Spending time with Kuroo wasn't that bad. I met his teammates because he forced me to watch their practice. I proceeded to almost break his knee caps because of it.
I got to see Kenma play! Even though I can't stand sports, watching Kenma was so amazing. Honestly, everything about him is perfect. His eyes, his smile, his voice...
I'm gonna miss him.
"Everything ready?"
"Yep, bags are ready. I don't know what to do until I leave though."
"Come to work with me? You can help me file papers," my step-dad said like it was the most exciting thing in the world. I playfully shoved him outside the door.
"Have fun, dad!"
"See ya, kiddo. It was nice seeing you again."
"Don't start going all soft on me old man," I said, smirking. He smiled and waved, driving away. I facepalmed.
"What an idiot."
Mom was at work and Kuroo was studying for a test. I have no one to bother, except—
"Kenma."
I walked to his house hoping he was there. His mother opened the door and dragged me to his room. I barely had time to process what she was saying.
Kenma was playing a game. His headphones were in so he hadn't noticed me yet. I decided to surprise him. I waited for his team to claim victory and sent him a text.

He checked his phone and turned around.
"F/n?"
"Surprise!"
He muted himself before giving me his full attention.
"Why are you here?"
"Eh? Did you forget I'm leaving today?" I asked pouting.
"No, I just didn't know how to face you," he mumbled. I felt sad. Did he not want to see me anymore? Did I do something?
He got off his chair and picked up a box, handing it to me. "I got it yesterday, as a gift."
I opened the box, almost crying in the process. "It's beautiful."
A silver bracelet with his name engraved on a small rectangular plate. "Thank you, Kenma. I'm never taking this off."
He helped me put it on while I marvelled at its beauty. I could feel my heart racing. He got me such a meaningful gift.
"I'm glad we got to be friends."
"What if I want to be more than friends?" Kenma said. I gasped, my face lighting up in pink. Was he serious?
"Be my girlfriend, F/n?"
I internally screamed. This was happening. I hugged him just like the first time, happier than ever. "Yes, yes, yes!"
His arms embraced me. I felt all warm inside. It was comforting. I never want this to end.
BONUS SCENE
"Tell (d/n) I said hi."
"Will do, mom."
"Don't miss me too much sis."
"Don't lose too much air in your brain while I'm gone."
"Oi!"
I snickered at the look on my brother's face. Priceless. Kenma was the last one to talk. He held my hand, eyes full of love. "Visit me again?"
"I promise, Kenma."

"Awwww, my daughter is growing up."
I was incredibly embarrassed but that was the best goodbye I've ever gotten. I boarded the plane feeling bubbly on the inside. My hand still lingered on my lips.
