F/n groggily woke up, having not slept well the night before. She smacked her cheeks a few times, mentally preparing herself to clear up a few situations. She packed her uniform in her bag, deciding to change at school and threw on a jogger set. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and was out the front door.
Still half asleep, she failed to notice the person who was following along.
"So are you just going to ignore me?" the voice called. She jumped in surprise. Suna was walking a small length behind her. "How long have you been behind me?"
"Not very long," he replied, matching his pace to hers. "Did you not see my text this morning?"
"I didn't pay much attention to my notifications. Sorry, Rinny..."
"That's fine." He held her hand and that's how they walked. Seeing the school in the distance, F/n stopped. Rin looked back at her.
"What's wrong?"
"I still didn't give you an answer about yesterday," she whispered.
Suna smiled. "That's fine. I can wait for senpai. But don't make me wait too long, Ms. Tease."
He kissed the top of her head and held her hand. "And stop attracting the others. I get jealous..."
He purposely avoided F/n's gaze, cheeks pink. F/n smiled. "Rintarō, I think I made my choice."
"You mean?"
F/n nodded, shyly and gasped as Suna pulled her into his arms. "I'll give more than you could ever ask for, senpai."
"Call me F/n, Rinny. No more senpai."

F/n groggily woke up, having not slept well the night before. She smacked her cheeks a few times, mentally preparing herself to clear up a few situations. She packed her uniform in her bag, deciding to change at school and threw on a jogger set. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and was out the front door. Arriving at school, she pushed the gym doors and but was no one there. F/n blinked checking her messages. She groaned.
The practice was cancelled.
"I might as well do something while I'm here." She used her spare keys to open the storage room and set up the net. She rolled out the volleyball card and grabbed a ball, heading to the backline. The emptiness of the gym made her feel tense. "Maybe I should call someone to come play with me."
She scrolled through her contacts and smiled.

O: F/n?
F: I didn't expect you to pick up.
O: Why are you up so early?
F: I didn't see the coach's message. So I'm at the gym... Do you want to play with me?
O: I'll be there soon.
F: Thanks, Roro!
O: What would you do without me?
F: Play alone?
O: So sad, F/n-chan.
F: Oh shush and get over here.

While she waited, F/n laid down, setting the ball above her head. It went on for a while until she got bored enough to switch things up, doing the same thing against the wall.
"You never told us you could set," a voice commented. F/n ran over, hugging the larger boy. "You never asked."
He hugged her back before heading off to change. F/n kept setting the ball until Aran returned and warmed up.
"I want to try setting one for you. Can I?"
"Sure."
"Can I see your jump serve first? It'll help with my aim."
Aran did as told and F/n was able to determine a trajectory for the set. "I'm ready!"
Aran tossed her the ball.

F/n looked shocked. That spike was a lot stronger than usual. "Ojiro, what was that?"
"I'm just as lost... Huh, looks like your sets are perfect for me."
"THAT WAS SO COOL!" F/n yelled, jumping around. "You went swoop and then bam and the ball went splat! So cool!"
Aran laughed at her silliness. "Are we talking the same language here?"
"Ehhhhhh? That was rude, Roro," she pouted. Aran ruffled her hair. "Can I get another one of your amazing sets?"
"Yes! I wanna see that spike again!" F/n jumped back in place. Another set, stronger than the first.
"THAT WAS AMAZING! You're amazing!" she said with sparkling eyes.
"Only thanks to you."
"Does this mean I'm better than Tsumu?"
"Let's keep this secret between us, okay?" he replied secretly telling her she was.
"Yes! I am the best," she said, doing a small victory dance. Aran watched her, his smile never leaving. F/n rarely showed this side of her and he was glad she did around him.
"Let's keep going. I wanna try a quick!"
"Aren't you happy this morning?"
"In position, Roro!"
Aran rolled his eyes, but happily obliged. Time passed and eventually, they both took a break. F/n was enjoying herself more than she did in a long time. Being here with Aran made her happy.
"Breaks over! I wanna serve."
"Why don't you have this much energy when you're managing?" he asked, laughing.
"The twins are physically and mentally draining to deal with," she replied, bouncing to her feet. "Come ooooon, get up Roroooooo."
"I'm up. I'm up."
"I want you to receive my monster serve."
"Confident are we?"
F/n nodded having an idea in her head. When Aran turned, she smacked the ball straight on his buttocks. Aran turned around in surprise. F/n couldn't stop giggling. "Like my serve?"
"Alright, come here, N/n."
"Shit," F/n made a run for it. They kept running around the gym until Aran snagged her around the waist. F/n laughed as she was caught. "Hey, it was a nice serve!"
Aran twirled her around as she playfully struggled to get out of his grip. They both laughed, having the time of their lives. In their little scuffle, F/n ended up pinned to the floor. Aran towering over her. "Surrender?"
"You'll have to do better than that, Roro."
"Challenge accepted."
He tickled her sides, immediately activating F/n's fight response. "No fair hahahaha stop I─hahahaha give ahahaha Roro─hahaha."
He complied and looked at her, charmed. F/n always had this liveliness to her and seeing her with so happy made him warm inside. "N/n, about yesterday─"

"I wouldn't have called you here if I didn't want to spend this time with you, Roro."
That was all he needed to hear to kiss her again.
"What are you two doing here?"
They broke apart at the sound of their coach's voice. Aran helped F/n off the ground.
"I cancelled practice. Why are you practicing, Aran, L/n?"
F/n bowed. "I'm sorry. I didn't see the message you sent yesterday. I invited Aran to practice with me. I will take full responsibility for pushing an athlete on a rest day. It was my decision."
"I assume joining the boys for their next run will not be a problem?"
"Not at all, coach."
"Good, clean up. And don't let this happen again." The two teens could see their coach subtly smirking and realized he didn't care much about what he saw when he arrived. Still, they felt better once he was gone.
"I thought we were goners," F/n said. "At least the punishment isn't too severe."
"You didn't have to take the blame."
"It's fine, Roro. I don't mind. It's more time spent with you."
"Well, then I guess it's okay."
F/n jumped on his back. "Onward!"
"We need to clean the gym, N/n."
"Way to ruin the fun, Roro," she whined, jumping back to the ground.

She arrived at the gym a lot earlier than usual but she wasn't alone. Kita was already there, "You're here early. That's rather unusual."
F/n yawned. "I didn't get ready. I'm still in my PJs," she said, showing him the silk set under her baggy clothes.
"Did you even eat?"
She shook her head.
"I have extra snacks in my bag. Eat something, no discussion."
"Right away, Kitkat."
While she munched on a bar, she set up things around the gym. "Kitkat, I can't find the net."
"Aren't they in the top left compartment of the shelves?"
"I looked there but I can't find anything," she replied. Kita entered the storage room and she was correct. Someone had moved the nets after they left yesterday.
"L/n, what's the problem?" the coach called.
"They're no nets in the storage room."
"This is an issue. We don't have any other nets at the moment. The girls are using the spares."
"I can get the net I have at home," F/n suggested.
"You have a net at home?" Kita asked.
She nodded. "I like playing volleyball when I get bored. I'll get it. I should be back in 10 minutes."
She left and was back in said time. F/n unrolled the net from her bag. It was brand new. Same quality as the school nets.
"Thank you for letting us use your equipment."
"No problem, coach."
She set up the net. Kita noticed the characters sewn in. "F/n, did you really get 'Inarizaki Kōkō' customized on the net?"
"Mhm, you never know when things are going to get lost."
Kita chuckled. "Only you, F/n. Only you."
The girl hopped off the ladder and returned to the storage room. "Kitkat, come here please."
Kita showed up only to have his vision blocked. F/n kissed him before any questions could be asked.
"Be my Kitkat?" she shyly asked.
Kita smiled, kissing her once more. Her hands hooked around his neck, tugging at his monochromatic locks of black and white.
"Kita, L/n, practice is starting!" the coach called. They pulled apart, laughing a little.
"I'll be your Kitkat, N/n."
"Good, because I'm craving sugar."

She ran, jumping into his arms. Terushima held her tighter than ever before. "You're here. You're actually here. But why are you here?" he asked, confused.
"I wanted to tell you something, so I drove here."
"You could have sent me a text. What could possibly be worth a trip from Hyōgo to Miyagi?"
"You're worth the trip, Yūji."
"F/n, you're not joking with me, right? This isn't one of your pranks, right?" he asked, all his hope pouring out at that moment.
F/n smiled, with the softest tint of red on her cheeks, "It's all real, Yūji."
The boy held her waist, twirling her around. As soon as her feet hit the ground, his lips connected to hers. Everything in that moment felt right. Terushima pulled away resting his forehead against hers. "You couldn't have made me happier. I love you, F/n. So much."
"I love you too, Yūji."
"Hey! What are you two doing out of class?"
The pair flinched. "My house?" Terushima proposed. F/n nodded. Hands together, they ran for it. He shook his head, seeing her car parked at his house.
"You really drove all the way here for me."
"Actually, I was craving some ramen and they have a really good restaurant here."
He rolled his eyes and picked her up, carrying her all the way to his room where he dropped her onto his bed. Before she could protest, he rolled them over, having her lay on his chest.
"That was close," he sighed.
"I'm developing bad habits because of you," F/n scowled. "Look at me ditching class to see you."
"But it was all worth it, no?"
"Definitely." Terushima placed his hand at the small of her back, gently caressing her skin.
"Say, F/n? Now that we're together. Do you think we can—"
"No, we are not using your toys anytime soon."
"Alright then."
"Huh? No complaints?"
He smirked. "My tongue will work just fine," he said referring to the metal bead pierced through his tongue.
"Yūji!"
