TIME SKIP [THE NEXT DAY]
Oikawa jumped out of bed with newfound determination. Even his teammates at practice noticed his oddly more happy-Oikawa behaviour.
"What is wrong with you today, Crappykawa?"
"Nothing, Iwa-chan!" he replied with the biggest smile on his face. Iwazuimi slightly weirded out, walked away. Oikawa hummed, walking through the halls, surrounded by flowers and sparkles. He opened the door to F/n's classroom.
"Oikawa-sama?!"
"Oikawa-sama is here!"
"Maybe he finally noticed me!"
"No, he's here for me."
And the brunette was surrounded in seconds. "No," he silently panicked, "Not right now."
He spotted F/n at her desk by the window, blankly looking out. She looked at the commotion and noticed the crowd. She said nothing and went back to the window. That was exactly the reaction he was afraid of.

"Girls please, I need to talk to someone."
"It's me, isn't it senpai?"
"No, it's me!"
"Back off! He's mine!"
And the girls fiercely started bickering. Oikawa took this chance to slip away. He grabbed F/n straight out of her chair, whisking her to the halls.
"Oikawa, let me go! I don't want any more of your pathetic excuses. You've done nothing short of being a bother this week. Oikawa, let go—"
"Please, give me one last chance!" he begged. F/n stopped for a moment and tugged her hand back. "You have thirty seconds."
Oikawa bowed a full ninety. "I'm sorry. I should never have sent the video. I shouldn't have recorded without Kyōtani's permission. I shouldn't have whined and been insincere with my apologies because we're friends. I should've been a better friend and senpai... I'm really sorry, F/n."
She crossed her arms. "You've finally come to your senses. Apology accepted, Kawa."
Oikawa hugged F/n, relieved. She rolled her eyes and hugged him back. "Yeah, yeah, go apologies to Kentarō."
"Yes ma'am!" He skipped away in a much happier mood. F/n shook her head. "Sometimes I wonder how old he is."
She walked back to her seat, ignoring all the fangirls who give her dirty looks.
"I can't believe she's friends with Oikawa."
"Neither can I," F/n replied.
"She's so out of his league."
"I knew that from the beginning," she said again.
"Ugh, she's not even that pretty."
"At least I'm natural."
Laughter spread through the class like wildfire. The fangirls sat down, embarrassed they had been so openly mocked. Meanwhile, Oikawa bust into Kyōtani's classroom. "Kyōtani!"
The said boy almost choked on his spit at the sound of his upperclassman's voice. Never in his life had he ever heard him say his name. "What do you want?"
Again, he bowed a full ninety degrees. "I'm sorry for recording and sending that video without your consent. I wasn't thinking right. I made a mistake. I promise it'll never happen again."
"Whatever... It's fine..."
"Wait, so I'm forgiven?"
"Yeah."
"Thank you, Kyōtani!"
Kyōtani, slumped his head in his arms, silently begging his senpai to leave. Eventually, he did. Kyōtani sighed, annoyed he had all this attention, but he gained a newfound respect for his captain.

F: Not in my reality, Tōru.

He winked at her. F/n felt her heart flutter a little.

"No, mom!" F/n answered.
"Off that phone young lady."

She got comfortable in her mess of blankets and was out in minutes. Oikawa was an energy drainer.
TIME SKIP [THE NEXT DAY]
"N/n-chan!—OW! That hurts!"
"Hoping I'd forget, Hentaikawa?"
The third-years cracked up laughing.
"I'm using that from now on," Iwaizumk smirked. Matsukawa leaned on him for support. "I'm gonna cry."
"It's perfect," Hanamaki snickered. They kept making small comments while laughing. Oikawa on the other hand was utterly embarrassed. "I already said I didn't mean it," he whined.
F/n sputtered a laugh. "You're honestly adorable when you pout. And it's hella annoying."
"Is that a compliment I hear?"
She pushed his face away from her. "Shut up, Loserkawa. I came here to watch your practice. Get to it instead of fooling around."
"Yes, right away!"
"How come you listen to her and not me, Shittykawa?!"
"I'm cute."
Iwaizumi rolled his eyes and resumed training with the others. Although she was here to watch, she acted as their manager. F/n gave them water, towels and would randomly point things out that she thought could be improved.
"So when are you going to sign up for the manager position?" Matsukawa asked. "You're always helping around. You might as well make it official."
F/n shook her head. "I can't make that type of commitment. With my training and competitions, it would be troublesome to choose between the two. I don't like giving half-assed efforts all across the board."
Iwaizumi ruffled her hair. "Don't fret about it, kid."
"I'm not a kid, iWa-cHAn."
"Hey! I don't sound like that!"
"You do," Iwazumi quickly replied. Oikawa dropped to the floor, clouded by his exaggerated sorrows. F/n pat him on the shoulder. "There, there, it's okay, alien."
"Is that supposed to comfort me?"
"I'm not giving you a hug so this is what you get."
"Awwww, please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Pretty please cause you're a cherry on top?"
F/n narrowed her eyes. "Well played... Come here—Hey, don't crush me!"
Oikawa gladly took the chance to smother F/n against him. His teammates laughed. Well, Kyōtani didn't. He felt this rage inside of him. It boiled hot, turning his guts inside out. He felt sick at the sight and stormed out of the gym. Only when the doors slammed shut did the team notice his departure.
"I'll go check on him," F/n said scurrying out of the gym. She heard banging from the locker rooms. "There he goes again."
She opened the door, dodging the shoes thrown your way. "Calm down, Kentarō."
"Don't tell me what to do."
"Okay, how about you tell me what's bothering you."
"Tch."
F/n glared. "If you think you can brush me off, you're sorely mistaken. Speak up."
Kyōtani pushed her up against a locker, hands slammed at each side of her head. "Don't think you can lecture me after sticking yourself to Oikawa."
F/n flipped him to the ground. "If you want to be tamed then I'll gladly whip you down."
"Let go!"
"I will if you calm down."
He trashed harder to get F/n off him. She held him firmly in place.
"F/n, is everything okay?" Oikawa called from the hall.
F/n sighed. "Everything is just fine. Just taming a wild dog. I'll be back soon."
She heard his footsteps echo away. Kyōtani was enraged. "I thought you were different... You're just like him. You're just like every one of them!"
"Will you shut up for a moment?! I've already told you this before. If you act like a dog, I'll treat you like one. I'm not being like them. If anything, you're returning to your past habits."
Kyōtani glared in response. F/n stayed strong. "I'm saying this once. Oikawa and I are close. Semi and I are just friends. I promised I wouldn't leave you. So get your act together."
She let him free, leaving the locker room. Oikawa was the first to question her when she came back. "He'll come back when he feels like it," F/n said in a cold tone.
The rest of the practice resumed as normal with F/n occasionally walking out to check on her friend. He eventually came back and things went back to their usual state. Kyōtani kept glancing at F/n from time to time. He told himself he had to say something soon. She had too many boys around her.

She trudged to the infirmary, slowly with a hand over her stomach. The few teachers she ran into all let her pass without question. Girls understand each other well. Finally, she reached the room. Kyōtani pulled her inside and locked the door.
"When you said talking, I didn't think you meant reenacting a shōjo romance scene. Nice kabedon tough."
"Don't say stupid stuff like that."
"Then let me go."
"Let me talk first."
"Is this karma?"
"Shut up, will you? Look, I'm sorry."
"People are apologizing to me a lot these days—"
He shut her up with a kiss. F/n gasped in surprise. His tongue slid its way in, entangling with her own. Her arms slid up his back, tightly gripping his uniform. She pulled his body closer, subtly moaning when he ran his arm up her thigh. Their lips fiercely collided together, again and again, only taking moments to breathe. When she realize both her legs were hooked around his waist, she pulled back, flushed and panting.
"T-Tarō, you didn't h-have to be s-so aggressive."
"You wouldn't shut up. I had to. And... I wanted to."
He brushed her hair out of her face, cupped her cheek and kissed her again. The gentle kiss revealed the deep emotions they hid from each other, a sweeter kind of love.
"The doors locked? That's weird."
The two teens jumped apart. They quickly hid behind one of the many curtains around the office. The clack of heels ran rampant in their ears. Each passing second, the clicks only sounded louder than before. F/n covered her mouth to muffle her breathing with Tarō holding her against him. Minutes later, the noise faded and the door clicked shut. The pair sighed in relief as the nurse had left. But now, there was nothing left to ignore what happened.
The fervent kiss.
F/n snapped back to reality. Kentarō kissed her. "Tarō? What just happened?"
"Want me to refresh your memory?" he whispered in her ear. F/n shivered.
"We have to get back to class," she reminded him.
"Before you go..." He took a moment to get a crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket and fumbled with the words, until his embarrassment grew too big and his patience too thin. "Fuck it. Be my girl, F/n?"
"Awwwww."
"Just answer the question—"
Kiss
"I'll be your girl, Kentarō." He smiled and kissed her again.
"Mine."
F/n ruffled his spiky hair, this time smiling with more adoration in her eyes. "All yours."
