Izzy was running to the Anabella's office. When she burst in the room she saw Anabella shading a tear while looking at a little photo in her hands.
"Isabelle Lightwood!" Anabella stood up while shading a tear.
"Ummm, Anabella? Are you ok?" Izzy asked.
"Yeah yeah, Isabelle. Now tell me, what is the reason for bursting in my office?" Anabella asked.
"Right. I discovered that the forsaken has angel blood in him." Izzy informed.
"Angel blood? Why would Valentine insert angel blood in the system of a forsaken." Anabella asked worried
As on clue, the girls heard a crush.
"Guess I got my answer." Anabella said angry and run out of the room to the source of the sound. Izzy was after her ready for the attack.
The girls run and run until they arrived in the main training room. They saw Alec on the ground and Hodge fighting the forsaken.
"Alec!" Izzy yelled for her brother.
Anabella looked at the forsaken and saw Hodge pushing his weapon in his back. The forsaken wasn't almost dead and he turned around throwing Hodge away. He was ready to kill Hodge when the Anabella threw 3 shurikanes. 2 to his chest and 1 in his neck. The forsaken looked at in the direction where the weapons came and he saw Anabella with 2 daggers, one in each hand.
"Hey little dead walking body. Want more?" Anabella screamed at him. The forsaken growled at her and started to get closer to them.
"Izzy help Alec and Hodge. Tonight I am going at Zombie hunt." Anabella said putting her hood and mask on, looking almost like a ninja, well, a ninja with more style. Izzy nodded and made her way to her brother.
The forsaken wanted to go after Izzy but Anabella threw a shurikane in his shoulder. The forsaken run to her and they started to fight. In the fight, Anabella threw one of her daggers to the forsaken's head. He blocked it and he aimed to beat Anabella but she dodged. She run to some planning tables and the forsaken followed her. They were on the same side of the table. The forsaken was ready to hit her when Anabella jumped, made a backflip using the table for support and slid under it, between the forsaken's legs and behind him. Before he could turn Anabella threw her last dagger and it landed in his head. The forsaken fell to the ground and Anabella made her way tired to the Izzy and the others.
"Hodge go and get that body out of my monitor room before I burn it right there." Anabella said.
"Yes. I will do it right now." Hodge said and went at the laying body.
"Izzy go get your parents. I will stay with Alec until then." Anabella said.
"Yes. Thank you." Izzy said.
Anabella nodded and sit down next to Alec. She examined his body and then she observed him moving. "Ughhh. What happened?" Alec asked.
"Forsaken. You are hurt, a little. Stay down. You might even have a contusion." Anabella said.
"I am fine." He said trying to stand up but failed.
"I told you that you are hurt. Listen to me if you want to not do more damage to yourself." Anabella said.
"Ok mom." Alec said.
"You can joke all you want, but when it comes to this kind of things I am dead serious." Anabella said.
"Alright, alright." Alec said raising his hands in defense. "So, you know Magnus." Alec said.
"Yeah, he was my babysitter as I said. But the question is how do you know him?" Anabella asked.
"I saved him from a Circle member, and we asked him if he could help us to get Clary's memories back." Alec explained.
Anabella frowned her eyebrows. "Magnus was attacked by a Circle member? So that means that Valentine was after him? And Clary's memories? Magnus told me he gave them to a powerful demon and I am sure as hell that that demon asked for payment."
"Yeah he asked for our dearest memory. The think was that it almost killed Jace, so Clary chose Jace instead of her memories so she could save him." Alec explained.
"Valentine's daughter chose to save somebody else's life instead of getting her memories back? Interesting." Anabella said with a blanc face.
Alec looked at her expression and didn't know how she felt about the information. Was she impressed of Clary's actions, was she shocked that Clary might not be as Anabella expected her to be, or was she sarcastic about the 'interesting' part?
"Alec!" Robert said.
"Oh Angels!" Maryse said.
They rushed to Alec and checked if he was ok. Anabella stood up and looked at the Lightwood family. "Took him to the infirmary, by the look of it, the forsaken hit him hard. I will go and report the situation to Idris. The Clave will be interested to hear everything." Anabella said.
"Thank you Miss Herondale." Robert said.
"Please, call me Anabella." She said and made her way to the office. She then stood in front of a monitor in her office and called the Institute from Idris. On the monitor a young woman answered.
"The Idris Institute, why did you called?" the young woman asked. She then looked better at Anabella and her bored expression changed to a shocked one. "M-Miss Anabella H-Herondale. I am so sorry. I-" she said but Anabella cut her off.
"Cut the crap, will you? Now, I want to talk with Madame Inquisitor! Now. It's important." Anabella said in a calm voice.
"Yes Miss." She said. Soon the image on the monitor changed and before Anabella stood a woman with light brown hair.
"Anabella Herondale." the woman said.
"Hey grandma." Anabella said smiling.
"This better be important." the inquisitor said.
"It is important." Anabella assured.
"Really? Isn't this like that time when you called me saying that is important just to show me that you dyed Magnus's hair in the rainbow color?" the iquisitor asked.
"I was 8. For that age that was really important." Anabella defended.
"Sure it was. Now, what do you want to tell me?" the woman asked.
"There are some strange things going on. Valentine created forsakens, and they are really strong. It needed 4 of my Shurikanes and 2 daggers to kill him, plus before I fight with it, two of the best fighter of the institute fought with it." Anabella said.
"How a forsaken got in the Institute?" the inquisitor asked.
"That's the strange thing. It seems that the forsaken was injected with angel blood." Anabella answered.
"Where did Valentine got angel blood?" The inquisitor asked.
"That's something we don't know." Anabella said.
The inquisitor sighed frustrated. "Well, I can't say you didn't get good information, but they are not enough." Imogen said.
"I know. I am trying to get more information but Valentine is a mad man. We don't know how he thinks." Anabella said.
"And that gives you the upper hand. Now that he knows he has a daughter he will try to get her. Speaking of which, where is Clary Fairchild?" Imogen asked.
"She is with Jace." Anabella asked not giving much information.
"Jace Wayland? Why is she with that impulsive boy?" Imogen asked, clearly pissed
"She and Jace weren't here when I arrived. Everybody told me that Clary is in good hands with him-" Anabella said
"And you believe them?" Imogen yelled
"Of course not-" Anabella said afraid of her grandma's reaction.
"Good. We are talking about Valentine's daughter. Who knows what kind of games and tricks she has." Imogen said
"Yes Madame." Anabella put her poker face on.
"Go find her. Don't let her go away from you. She is dangerous, and now is more dangerous if Valentine gets her." Imogen said.
"I understand perfectly."
"May the angles be with you." Imogen said.
