"Figure It Out"

Weeks and weeks had gone by and Maxwell was going crazy over a phone. He was tired of figuring out passcodes on the only thing Alicia had left behind. He tried using her birthday as the passcode and it never worked. He used his birthday and it never worked either. He couldn't guess anything more.

In his workplace, he had a book and pen, writing numbers and doing all he can to unlock the phone. He tried the date of when they started being friends which was the day Luke left this earth and it didn't work. He had forgotten lots of dates and almost gave up on unlocking the phone. He screamed at himself in there and pushed the book off the desk. "Fuck!" He cussed out loud and leaned in his chair. "What the fuck Alicia? You could've just said this." His door opened and Ryan walked in. "What?!"

"You've been doing this thing for weeks since she left. You really got to stop talking to yourself like she's in here with you and get your head in your work Maxwell Ross. Your employees are worried about you."

Maxwell eyed at him and picked up the book and pen again. "Why don't you come in here and help me out with this instead of trying to talk me out of it? She must've left her notes in there. Theodore might've threatened her to go ahead with the wedding and even kidnapped her. People do crazy stuff Ryan,"

"That is something you will do. I admit Theodore is crazy..."

"Yes! Thank you for admitting this!"

"...crazy in love with Alicia." Ryan ended and Maxwell frowned at him. "What?! I'm just stating the facts here." He laughed and Maxwell threw a pen at him.

"Get the fuck out. You're not helping."

"She's married. Move on." Ryan reminded. "Okay, I will help you with this. I've been thinking about this too and I got nothing. Alicia was quite crazy like you are. Do you remember the date you two started dating?"

"Of course! I tried and it didn't work. What the fuck do you think I'm doing here. I even used the numerical alphabets of her last name, my last name, every fucking letter in our names and nothing worked."

"You tried Theodore's birthday?" Maxwell frowned at him. "He's her husband. She might've used it."

"Dude, I tried that too. Nothing works."

"Okay, Dawn? Her mom, brother, dad, Jake or even me?"

"I fucking tried all that okay!" He yelled.

"Okay chill! I was just trying to help." Ryan sighed and took a seat in front of Maxwell. They both sat down in deep thoughts, breathing out a sigh. "Wow. Just wow." Ryan laughed. "This will seem crazy but do you remember the first sex you two had?"

Maxwell gulped and bit his lips. "How can I ever forget?"

"How was it? Did she say anything when you two were fucking?"

"Just my name and her moans. Will you stop making me think of it? It's not helping Ryan!" He yelled at Ryan again and Ryan leaned in his seat.

"Do you know whenever Dawn and I are having a good time, she brings up the first time we had sex and how that changed everything between us? Even when Kesha was still around, I never stopped thinking about it too. Think about it; the sex makes everything clearer between you two. I mean Dawn and I still fuck when we're mad at each other. That could be it. Girls do think about that a lot too." Ryan smiled at him and Maxwell cleared his throat, trying not to think of the first time he had sex with Alicia. It was the sex that broke everything off. It was the beginning and end of their journey.
