"Night, kids." Guinevere says, turning off the lights and closing the secret door.

But she heard no response because they were already asleep.

"You really had to teach Lilith a mind reading spell."

They didn't have to talk in hushed tones because Guinevere's room's walls were very thick, so the kids couldn't hear anything from the outside.

"It's useful for battle strategies."

"But she can't go around reading other people's minds!" He exclaims.

"I can't exactly stop her, or tell when she's reading minds. But I can read HER mind." She replies.

"I'm scared for my dignity."

"Why? Is there something I don't now about?"

"N-no..." he lies.

She was a bit skeptical, so she decided to read his mind.

What she saw just made her feel really uncomfortable. Guinevere spaced out, going about the things that Granger was thinking about as we speak. His face was so, calm. But everything that was going on in the inside was just...different.

"Uhhh Guin? Hello?"

He snapped her out of her thoughts.

"What were you doing?"

"What were YOU thinking?" She asks.

"Uh...My thoughts a-are private."

"They're disgusting. What if Lilith sees you thinking about these?" Guinevere replies.

"H-hey. I can't control them, okay?"

"That's the problem. You know what, I'll make her forget how to read minds."

Murmuring an incantation, it was intended for Lilith to forget.

"Thank you."

"But I won't forget how to read your mind."

"Uhh...you gotta ask me first-" but Granger gets cut off.

"Now, about your thoughts... you're not what it seems on the outside."

"And I thought you knew that by now."

"Nope. You have so many hidden personalities. And I'm feeling really uncomfortable."

"Uncomfortable with what?"

She glares at him.

"O-oh...okay." He replies, turning red from embarrassment.

"Anyway, it's already late. I'll go sleep now, Granger. You can stay up late if you want."

"Nah, I'm tired already. I'll sleep too."

"Well, okay."

She curls herself up in her blanket and closes her eyes.

"Hey Guin, I-"

But she was already asleep.

"Alright then, good night."

Guinevere woke up to the sound of footsteps right outside the room. "Granger? Did you go somewhere?" She calls out, but he was asleep beside her.

Suddenly, someone opens the secret door.

"Azrail? What are you doing?"

"I sense that Gusion Paxley is here."

"Uhh...yeah. But are you sure it's him?"

"He came into my dream and he showed me his dagger dripping with blood." He replies.

"Then it is him. Please be ready."

"Okay. Dad, can I borrow your gun?" Azrail says, shaking his father awake.

"Huh? It's not even Dawn yet and-" he looks at his wife who gives him a look that says, "He's here."

"Oh. Here Azrail. I'll use the cannon for now."

"Good. Ready, Azrail, Granger?"

"Ready." The two reply.
