Max POV:
I walked over to Timothée, he hugged me and picked me up.
Timothée-"Your short."
Max-"Shut up no I'm not."
Timothée-"Yes you are."
Max-"Well why are you so tall?"
He put me down and we laughed, we walked over to Colby and sat down.
Mikey-"What the hell?!"
Danna-"What?"
Mikey-"Charlies at Max's house!"
Max-"What? I thought he got here tomorrow?"
Mikey-"No he just sent me a picture!"
Colby-"Lets go!"
We walked to the car and I got in Timothée's car, we drove to my house.
30 minutes later...
We got to my house and I went inside, I saw Charlie and hugged him so hard. I've missed him so much.
Max-"Your here finally!"
Charlie-"Surprise!"
Mikey-"Ayyyyyeeeee Charlie!"
Tyler-"Bro your still alive?"
Charlie-"Of course i am."
They hugged and we talked for awhile.
Charlie-"Wheres the kids?"
Max-"My mom has them right now! But she'll be back later!"
Charlie-"Damn ok, I had gifts for them."
Max-"You didn't have to buy them anything."
Tyler-"Yeah their spoiled enough."
Charlie-"I mean they have the best parents so obviously."
Colby-"Yeah they get spoiled a lot."
Max-"No they don't."
Tyler-"We don't really spoil them."
Max-"Yeah if Mason asks for something he has to earn it."
Charlie-"Thats good though."
Max-"Yeah."
Charlie-"Well whens the bonfire starting?"
Mikey-"Well the sun is barley going down, so we could set up in like an hour?"
Colby-"Yeah! I'll order some pizza! I'm hungry."
Charlie-"Same."
Max-"Imma go to the store then real quick."
Tyler-"For what?"
Max-"To get some snacks."
Mikey-"O okay."
I grabbed the keys and Timothée followed me.
Timothée-"Charlie seems really chill."
Max-"Yeah he is!"
Timothée-"I like your friends."
Max-"Really? I thought you would've hated them."
Timothée-"Nah, i dont hate a lot of people."
I drove to Target and once we got there some fans recognized us, we took some pictures and then we bought what we need. I bought some chips and drinks, I also bought a big blanket so we could all sit on. After that I paid and we went back to the house.
Max-"You guys have everything set up already?"
Colby-"Yeah we just started the fire."
Charlie-"Max what we singing tonight?"
Max-"I'm not singing tonight."
Timothée-"Why not?"
Max-"Because I'm bad."
Timothée-"No your not!"
Charlie-"Come on,"
Max-"Maybe."
Charlie-"Wheres your guitar?"
Max-"Upstairs, Colby show him the studio."
Colby-"K."
They went upstairs and I sat down at the counter.
Timothée-"Your not gonna sing for me?"
He winked at me and laughed.
Max-"Your so stupid."
Timothée-"Your just as stupid tho."
Max-"True."
We laughed and they came back downstairs.
Mikey-"You guys ready?"
Tyler-"Yeah,"
I grabbed the snacks and we walked outside and sat down. Danna came outside and she Kian, Mason came running to us. I grabbed Kian and he sat in my lap.
Mason-"Can I join?!"
Mikey-"Hell yeah."
Tyler-"Don't cuss in front of him."
Mikey-"Hells not even a bad word."
Mason-"Yeah it's place you go after you die!"
Max-"Who taught you that?"
Mason-"Mikey!"
Mikey-"You weren't supposed to say anything."
1 hour later...
We where all talking with each other and catching up with Charlie.
Charlie-"Enough talking I say me and Max sing now."
Danna-"Ooo yeah!"
Timothée-"Yeah come on Max."
He smiled at me and I rolled my eyes.
Max-"What song?"
Charlie showed me a song and I knew it. It was "Home" By Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros.
Colby POV:
Danna-"Wait let me record!"
She got her phone out and set it up.
Danna-"Okay you guys can start."
They started whistling because it was apart of the song, after Max started singing and then Charlie. Their voices sounded so good together, Max was smiling and she look so happy, she wouldn't look at none of us tho.
Tyler POV:
Max and Charlie voices together sounded so good together, she looked up and smiled at me. I smiled back at her and she looked at me again and said "Home is whenever i'm with you." I laughed and they continued singing like nothing happened. It then got to the talking part of the song.
Charlie-"Max."
Max-"Charlie."
Charlie-"You remember that one day you snuck out and we went to the beach?"
Max-"I sure do."
Charlie-"Theres something i never told you about that day."
Max-"What didn't you tell me?"
Charlie-"Well you got in my car and I drove to the beach, and we ran toward the water and I looked into your eyes, I was falling deep deeply in love with you, and I never told you til this day."
She smiled and laughed, they continued to sing, and then the song ended. We all clapped and cheered, She hugged Charlie and laughed.
Timothée-"That was amazing."
Danna-"I know!"
Colby-"You guys sounded so amazing with each other!"
Tyler-"I know it sounded so great."
Mason-"Mommy you sounded so good!"
Mason hugged her and sat next to her.
Charlie-"Told you we go good together."
She smiled and laughed.
Charlie-"Singing wise obviously, I don't wanna mess with you and Tyler again."
Tyler-"What do you mean?"
Charlie-"Aren't you guys still together?"
Max nodded her head no.
Charlie-"O, I didn't know. What happened?"
Max-"Fell out of love obviously."
Tyler-"Yeah..."
She put her head on Timothées shoulder and he put his arm on her shoulder. He whispered something into her ear and she laughed, he grabbed a cupcake and smashed it into her face.
Max-"You bitch!"
He got up and ran and she grabbed all the cupcakes and ran after him.
Colby-"There like children."
Danna-"Leave them! Their in love."
Danna recorded them and they stopped and hugged, and laughed.
Danna-"Ugh I love them so much."
Charlie-"What really happened between you two? You guys where like them."
Tyler-"Yeah I know.. But we had to move on."
Colby-"it's the best for them. You know?"
Charlie-"Yeah I understand that. But she looks happy, I'm proud of her."
Tyler-"Me too.."
Colby POV:
We where all talking and Max and Timothée where in the pool, they where laughing a lot. Max looked happy and she was so smiley.
Mikey-"Well tonight was fun, but ima go to sleep."
Colby-"Same, Imma crash on the couch."
Danna-"Okay, Can you guys help bring the stuff inside?"
Charlie-"Yeah for sure!"
He ran inside and put the guitar down, they grabbed everything and put it inside. Me and Tyler where putting the fire out.
Colby-"Tonight was fun."
Tyler-"Yeah.."
Colby-"You ok?"
Tyler-"Yeah. Why?"
Colby-"You look upset."
Tyler-"I'm tired."
Colby-"Don't worry about the fire then, I'll put it out."
Tyler-"You sure?"
Colby-"Yeah! I'll be inside in a few minutes."
Tyler-"Alr."
He went inside and finished putting the fire out, I grabbed the leftover stuff and put it inside. I closed the door and went to the living room.
