CHAPTER 8

No ones P.O.V.

It was sunset at the hidden leaf.

Naruto stood at the memorial ground,starring upon countless graves of his close friends.

Holding back his desperate tears,he couldn't help but blame himself for all these deaths.If only I was stronger..I could've protected you all..he thought.

A soft wind blew,making the trees rustle softly.

He closed his eyes,I hope you guys are doing okay up there..

Sensei...everyone..

His heart ached with every thought.ever since the shinobi from the leaf brought Naruto back,the environment there had completely changed.

What used to be a care free village was now turned into a depressed and fearful place.his father,the second and the first all made the decision to tell the people what happened during the war.

Including their failed task to execute Rin.it was how the first worded it.but he could tell the second was angry with the outcome.he could sense his bitter intention to her,Sasuke,Madara,Obito and Izuna.

They made it seem like they weren't after her in the first place.but,they had called out a new plan and made it public.

Naruto turned back,he couldn't bear this sight any longer.the guilt was simply to much.

On the other side of the village,Sakura sat behind the hospital.

In complete disappointment in herself.

I had the chance to kill them..

And to take Sasuke back..

But I let my guard down.

That woman's action took me by suprise..I was a fool to give her that choice.what kind of kunoichi am I?

A pathetic one.

When the fourth and some ninja found her on the ground.she repeatedly tried to get away from them.claiming that the wanted Uchihas had escaped.

Ultimately they had to restrain and take her consciousness.

She clenched her fist tightly.

That man who stabbed me from behind made a mistake.did he think he killed me?

She smiled to herself as tears welled in her eyes.

"I'm going to kill every last one of you."

"And take Sasuke back."

"I'll make that woman and those other two men suffer so bad that they wished they never set foot on this earth."

Sakura swallowed as tears fell from her eyes and down her cheeks.

"How should I do it."

"How should I torment her-"

"It seems you recovered quicker then I thought."

She froze.

Looking up her eyes landed on the second hokage.

U-uh?!

"Take that paranoid look off your face."he said crossing his arms.

"L-lord second!"she replied as she stood up.

"Forgive me."she wiped her eyes.

"I'll leave immediately."she said doing a courtesy bow.

She took a step forward to leave,"your name."

"Is Sakura Haruno,am I correct."The second said.

She stopped,and turned back to him.

"Yes that's right."She said respectfully.

"Hm."he muttered and looked to her.his eyes moved up and down.Sakura placed her hand on her elbow.what does he want with me?she thought.

"Well no wonder you couldn't take out that devil and her demon companions."he said.

Her eyes slightly widened.

"E-excuse me?"she said lowly.

"Your far to weak."

"Everything that the firsts granddaughter taught you,what the hell have you been doing with it."

Sakuras chest tightened hearing that.

"It's like she never took you in as her student."

"But I.."she muttered.

"I thought I caught up to..Naruto and the others.."she whispered more to herself.

Tobirama scoffed,"what a foolish woman,you are."he said.

Sakura looked to the ground,she held her elbow so tight.this was so difficult to process.one of the previous hokages is telling me this.how humiliating!

Tobirama looked elsewhere,"you may be weak.but we both have similar feelings toward that despicable Uchiha."

"And I believe we have the same goal."

Sakura made eye contact.this time there was fire in her eyes.true motivation,true revenge driven emotions that were stored in her heart.

That's what I wanted to see..he thought smirking.

"You'll be working with me from now on."

"And in exchange,I'll train you to be the strongest kunoichi this land has ever seen."he said as if she didn't get a choice.

He turned to leave.

Sakura stared at him as he walked away.

Yeah.

This can work.

I don't care what I have to do.who I have to listen to...

As long as I can..

"I have two conditions,lord second."she said.

He stopped.

"We keep Sasuke alive."she stated in all seriousness.

Tobirama was quiet for a moment,"and the second one?"he said turning his head to her.

Sakura stated her second condition.

And a wicked small smile came to Tobirama face.

Sakura kept her expression the same.she was determined.and he liked it.

"Fine."he replied.

"You'll get what you want."
