Colbys pov
We all sprint to different sides of the van in a hurry. Serena stepped out the car in shock, her eyes wide and her hands trembling. I didn't have time to comfort her, i had to my get my girl out of this car. We were all yelling back and forth, arguing and struggling to lift. "Kevin take the back side." Jake yelled as me and him worked on the side. The car lifted from the floor, exposing a bunch of men pilled on top of each other from impact. "Mike go," i barley speak out as i hold the side up with all my strength. Within seconds there's probably ten guys laying on the street, but there's still more people. I peak inside the car, searching for anyone easy access, and i see the one person i'd never expect to see, Emily. "Someone hold tight here." I demanded as i pat the car space next to me. Aryia and Cassie run up, replacing my spot. I crawl under the car, glass shards getting my exposed skin. I drag Emily out, and notice two people in the front seat too far out of my reach. "What the fuck?" Corey yells as he takes her from me. I don't answer, but i look at Devyn and she nods, rushing over to Emily's side on assistance. "Kat, call an ambulance and tell them there's about a dozen to more people that need help now." She nods and pulls her phone out, turning away. I quickly dart to Mike, his gaze meeting mine. "Get the helicopter down here, we need all the help we can get." He nods and dashes off, and i turn back to the car, pointing at the front seat. "There's two people in the front seat, help me get them out." I'm praying that Jordan isn't in this car, and that maybe she was in a different van that we lost on the trail. Kevin doesn't hesitate to rip the door handle quickly, wasting no time. "Colby this thing isn't long from-" right as Sam spoke the place we were once holding popped, hot oil splattering everywhere. Aryia screamed in pain, gripping his arm tightly. "Guys get as far away from here as you can, i'm going to get them out of here, the flames are getting worse." I yell as i turn back to the car and pull the small person from the passenger seat. I didn't see her face, but just from the weight and touch of her i knew it was Jordan. My anxiety picked up rapidly as i tore her body away from the car, and yelling at Kevin to handle the other person in the drivers seat. I looked at Jordan's face, a long deep gash on the side of her head, covered in dark dust. Her arm had burns that scaled up her left shoulder, right where her gunshot was. I cry out to her, begging her to wake up as her body laid limp in my arm. "Jordan please don't leave me, i can't live without you anymore." I cried as tears poured out from my eyes and onto her dry face. I stroked her hair, moving it out of her face, she looked so in pain it killed me. "Ya know i don't really cry, at all really." I said as my voice cracked. "But you made me so damn soft Jet, i can't help but let loose around you." A sob escaped my throat, i couldn't let her die. I wouldn't be able to handle it. I can barley handle her not living with me. If she was dead, where would that leave me? She is my only reason for living, i couldn't bare going to bed every night knowing she's not going to come back. Knowing she's really gone this time. "Please don't leave me Jordan, even if that means you hating me forever. I need you. We all need you baby. Even if i try not to face it, i'm in love with you, J. I can't live without you. You're the person i want to go eat taco bell with at three in the morning. I want to take you on crazy adventures with me. You're my person, you own my heart J, forever and always." I sobbed uncontrollably as i laid my forehead on hers. I felt Sam place a hand on my shoulder, and i realized i just confessed my love to Jordan in front of everyone. But i didn't care, i didn't even know if she would still be alive after this. I stand up, carrying Jordan in my arms as she sagged in my arms. I take a seat off the curb next to Devyn, her placing her hand on her forehead. "She's alive." She whispers as everyone sighs in relief. "Can you wake her up?" I ask Devyn quietly. "I can try, she's in a lot of pain her body my resist." She places her index and middle fingers on either sides of her temples before closing her eyes. "Wake." She whispers. Nothing happens as she takes her hands off of her, brushing her hair back from her face. I go to ask her what happened when Jordan jolts slightly, gasping loudly. A smile crosses my face through my tears as she looks up at me. "Hey sleepyhead." I whisper, tears falling from my face. Her good hand reaches up to my face, wiping my tears away before holding my cheek. "Why were you crying?" Her voice is dry, and forced from her throat. I shush her quietly, not wanting to hurt her. "Don't hurt yourself, you're already beat up." I say as she blinks slowly at me. She tries to move her left arm, before Devyn quickly stops her. "Woah girl, you'll pull your arm out." She chuckles at her. I see that Devyn was also crying, noticing her puffy eyes. "It hurts." Jordan coaks out in a whimper. My heart breaks and i nod. "I know, it'll get better soon." I reassure her softly. She nods slowly, before reaching out with her good hand, taking mine in hers. Her fragile fingers barley grip mine, as she looks around, taking in the scenery. "You're going to get hurt." She whispers, looking up at me with her sad eyes. "He'll hurt." She couldn't seem to finish her sentence, but she points to the body Kevin laid out from the car. "Is that him?" I ask Jordan. She nods slowly before her eyes widening. "Emily." Was she really worried about her? Rather than herself? "She's fine, she's next to Corey right now." I tell her. Her face relaxes slightly before her hand gripping mine slightly tighter. "Uh guys?" I look up and see Jake examine the car, right as the fire hits the hot oil. The car bursts into flames, i didn't have time to move, i use my body to cover Jordan's with my life. Jake flew back, Mike dashing to him, catching him mid air from falling. I saw car parts break off and fly towards me. I shut my eyes, preparing myself for pain, but nothing hits me. I open my eyes slightly, and see that everyone is looking up too. I look back at Jordan in shock, and see a small smile plastered on her face. She used her powers to save all of us from the car exploding, we didn't have a scratch on us from it. Her hand drops, and her forcefield dims to nothing. "Did i do it?" She asked smiling as big as she could. We all gather around her, big smiles on our faces. "Yeah, you did it." I tell her, grabbing her hand again. She nods, her eyes locking on mine. "I'm rest now." She says looking around all of us. "No Jordan you can't sleep now, there's so much we have to do." Sam says in attempt of keeping her away. We nod in agreement, sadness taking over us. Her face furrows, and i see her slowly dazing off but fighting it with everything she got. "Hurts." She cries in pain. "But Jordan if you sleep now, who will deal with Colby for us?" Reggie said jokingly. I roll my eyes as everyone chuckled, Jordan smiling. "I'm sorry." She whispered, looking at me mainly. "Don't be, we all messed up." Aryia said, holding his arm in his hand. She smiled, looking around to all of us, but her eyes landing on Serena. "You shot at us." She said sadly, her eyes focusing in and out on her. Serena's face looked dim already, it got even sadder at Jordan's words. "I'm so sorry girl." Her tone was begging Jordan to forgive her, but J just shook her head. "You did what you had to do to save your friends." Jordan said reassuring her that she was fine. It amazed me how she didn't care about her life right now, but if we were okay and well. She brought her hand up, noticing something in Serena. My heart picked up for a second, did she know that i cheated on Jordan with her? "I like your hair." She smiled before leaning her head back down. My breathing slowed down, i would have to tell her, now just wasn't the right place. She looked back at me, smiling slightly. She rubbed her thumb on the back of my hand before messing my rings like she usually did. "I'll see you later." "No Jordan." I pleaded, gripping her hand tighter in mine. Her eyes closed shut, and her grip loosened on mine, but i refused to let her go. I tried to get her to wake up, i yelled and cried and begged. But she didn't budge. I didn't stop until her body was ripped away from mine by paramedics, even then i still cried for her. Yelling her name out in hope for her to magically run up to me and tell me she's okay. But she didn't, and instead i cried even more in Sams hug, my head hurt from crying. But my heart hurt more.
