Sister Bernadette strolled as quietly as she could to her room. She floated down the hallway like a ghost. She froze outside of Trixie's room hearing the sounds of giggling and music.
She couldn't help but stop and listen to them. She missed friendship. She missed it dearly, in the order, she had her religious sisters but no one she could call friend.
"Trixie the door, what if one of the nuns walked past, it's supposed to be the great silence" Cynthia said closing the door, sealing them off from sister Bernadette's eyes.
She cast her eyes down, she was a religious sister, she had her sisters in Christ and Christ himself, nothing more was needed.
