    "Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronounced against you."
                Jeremiah 26:13

     Oh, to be a prophet and prophesy something that no one wants to hear.  They (people of Jerusalem) were ready to put him to death.  Jeremiah was known as the "weeping prophet" and I understand why.
     The people listened but didn't like what Jeremiah had to say.  God tells or warns the people before He does something.  Jeremiah told the people (what God told him) and they wanted to kill him - I think I would weep too.
     God is fair and just.  People, even back then, seemed to hear what they wanted to hear and believe what they wanted to believe.  I will let you find out how Jeremiah died on your own - our reward is in heaven.  Tell God you love Him.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
