Melchizedek

     to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated "king of righteousness," and then also "king of peace,"
     without father, without mother, without genealogy  having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.
     Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils.
               Hebrews 7:2

      Wow, Melchizedek again, thank you Father.  I haven't been given Scripture about Melchizedek in a while.  I have struggled with Melchizedek's identity time and time again.  Finally, I gave up trying, threw in the towel.
     Now, God revealed Melchizedek's identity to me, without my asking - Melchizedek is none other than God himself.  It makes too much sense.  I never, ever thought of that before.  (Note - read the whole entry.)
     God did manifest Himself as a man another time to Abraham.  This would also mean that God has always been in control of Jerusalem, and how special this city was to God.  He has always literally been there.
     I haven't figured everything out, and not much is known about Melchizedek.  But Melchizedek is extremely important in regards to Jesus the Christ and the new covenant.  It can only be God.
     Why did God reveal this to me?  I haven't a clue, but there is a reason, that I am sure.  I will pray, although I know God won't tell me.  Why?  Because He never does, He reveals things to me.  And reveals things to me in His time not mine.
     Honestly, I think He likes me asking, because it is more special when I find out the answer.  He just teaches me patience, and the lessons continue.  I will ask though.
     I used to get excited, but I am calmer now, and calmer with whatever He wants me to do.  I have learned, through His teaching, that He is in control of everything, including the people that read this.  No one has read any of these entries to date, but someone will.
     I need to shut up.  God, I don't think, likes me explaining.  Well, tell Him you love Him - I love You, Father!

Note - I am still struggling a bit with Melchizedek, not much is known about him.  God says He is not Melchizedek, but created him as a priest for the new covenant - so I am wrong again.  I thought God revealed this to me - He never said, "I am Melchizedek."  At least I know the answer now and can leave Melchizedek alone!

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

     Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
