A Living Sacrifice

     I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
     And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
     For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
             Romans 12:1-3

     I need to include one more -

     Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them:  if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
              Romans 12:6

     I thought I knew what I wanted to write; again, that is what I get for thinking.  I think (I know thinking again :-)) God wanted to post and read Romans 12:6, but I felt heat on 1-3 also; I really wanted to post the whole chapter.  Romans chapter 12 really speaks to me.
     First of all, be willing to give your life for God.  Then there is faith, the differing levels of faith.  And finally, vengeance is God's, let Him deal with that - we all know He will.
     I want to comment about faith, but I can't.  I can only say that God knows everything.  He knows and allows us to develop our faith.  Writing anything else, to me, would be vanity.  Tell God you love Him.
     Oops, I forgot about not conforming to the world.  God doesn't change, and the Bible is the living word.  People seem to not understand conforming to the world.
     People are consumed with your placement in the world.  We need to be concerned with what we are doing for God.  Nobody listens or seems to really care about God, or people I have talked to; maybe that has to do with their level of faith.  I really don't know, or know why I care,  but I do.
     I better not go on any further.  I don't want to reveal anything right now.  The faithful know anyway.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

     Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
