This chapter will be way shorter than the previous one, just FYI. It will just be the after events from the final and the awards ceremony. I hope you enjoyed my twist on the sports festival final. It was a real coin toss for me, whether to have Cry or Todoroki win. I ultimately made the decision for Cry to win based solely on his reaction to Endeavor after the fight. I thought It showed great courage toward his character and showed how much he cared about Todoroki. Anyways, enjoy!

I continued screaming as the voices continued to speak loudly in my head. Recovery Girl was doing everything she could to calm me down but everything she tried only made it worse. She eventually stuck a needle in me, I thought it was painkillers but it soon put me to sleep.

I woke up several hours later, the voices had quieted down but they were still there. I sat up in my bed to see where Recovery Girl was. To my surprise I saw Kendo, Tetsutetsu, and the rest of my class standing around my bed. "What are all you doing here?" I questioned. Tetsutetsu answered for the group, "We came to see you buddy. That was amazing! I've never seen a fight that good before! You really showed that class 1-B is truly the best!" he said as everyone began to clap for me. I started to cry, "T-Thank you all! You don't know how much this means!" as I smiled to all of them. Everyone stopped clapping as Recovery Girl moved through the crowd of students to see me at the side of the bed. "I'm glad to see you're awake dear." "Thank you ma'am, for healing me. The voices have quieted down now. I don't know what that was?" I said to her. She was quick to respond "Well I do," as she began to explain. "After doing several tests on you to figure out why you heard voices, I discovered that your quirk had unlocked a new ability."  Every one of my classmates cheered in excitement as I was more focused on Recovery Girl's explanation. "It seems that the explosion that you and that boy Todoroki caused awakened this new ability. The voices you could hear were real, but they were not from people who were near you. They were from people some distance away. So, I came to the conclusion that you have awakened some sort of super hearing ability. The range of I it however, I do not know." I laid back down in my bed and thought to myself, "So that''s what it was. Super hearing. I wonder how i'll make use of this?" as I was soon interrupted by Recovery Girl again. "Now, I was able to heal most of your injuries and stop the pain. But your left hand received to much damaged as i'm sure you already realized. I am not able to regenerate fingers so that injury of yours will be permanent from now on. I'm sorry, but I did all I could." I responded quietly to her, "I understand. I pushed myself passed my limit and I paid the price." She then began to talk to me again. "But, there's still one more thing you have to do." she said as I questioned her. "What is it?" "You have to receive your award for winning the tournament! I've healed your wounds enough for you to walk, so you can go out their and receive your reward." I questioned her again, "But hasn't it been hours since the tournament ended? Wouldn't they have moved on to the second years games?"  She replied back to me in an instant, "I'm sure they can make an exception in between events. I'll see if I can get the officials to allow it. Now get out there and show everyone you're alright." She said with a smile. "Thank you Recovery girl." I began to get out of my bed, still in my burnt training outfit. I put my feet on the ground and attempted to stand. My legs felt weak and I nearly fell over but Tetsutetsu caught me. Recovery girl explained to me, "I did say that  I healed you as much as I could. Your legs are probably still in shock from the fight. That's why you're having trouble standing." Tetsutetsu looked in my face and said, "Don't worry buddy, I'll help you out all the way." as he helped me walk out of the infirmary and down the hall. My classmates following as well.

Recovery Girl had put in the suggestion to still have the first years award ceremony. The officials allowed it and would hold it in between some of the second year students events. When one of the events were over, a podium was placed in the center of the stadium. Present Mic continued hyping up the crowd as the award ceremony was about to begin. I waited to here my name so I could begin walking to the podium. I had to wait for second and third place to be called out first though. Tetsutetsu was still with me as I was still unable to walk on my own. My classmates had left and now sat in the stands. I could see that Bakugou was already on the third place spot on the podium before he was even called out. He was chained to a stone slab, probably because he wanted to go berserk for losing. Present Mic began to announce the placements, "Alright everybody, I think it's finally time to give out the awards for the first year students! So let's start things off with third place, with Katsuki Bakugou!" The crowd cheered but Bakugou still looked unhappy. "Tenya Iida was unable to attend the award ceremony as he had to leave due to family issues." Present Mic explained before continuing. "For second place, we have Shouto Todoroki!!" He yelled out as I could see Todoroki making his way to his spot on the podium. He was covered in scratches and bruises but was able to walk on his own. I guess he got the better of the exchange. He stood on the second place position and Present Mic continued to move on to me. "And lastly, the man you've all been waiting for. The champion of this years UA sports festival, first year tournament! IT'S TENSHONOMA CRYSHIKI!!!!!!!" The crowd cheered so loud that you could probably hear it miles away. I made my way into the stadium, still being helped by Tetsutetsu. I limped my way towards the podium but looked off into the distance, I was looking for Endeavor. He was still in the same position, just looking extremely ticked off. He probably wanted to kill me. I'd like to see him try. I looked away as me and Tetsutetsu stepped onto the first place spot on the podium. Midnight took over on the microphone and started to explain, "Congratulations to you three, you truly are outstanding students! And to all of you who participated, you all deserve pats on the back for showing such determination! Now without further a do. The man who will be awarding you your medals...The number 1 hero!..." As she was explaining, I could hear laughing in the distance. I looked to see where it was coming from and I saw someone standing on the rooftop. He jumped down, landing right in front of the podium, yelling "I am here!" Midnight continued to say her speech as she hadn't yet realized what was going on. "All Might!!!" I could see All Might apologizing to her as he had come out too early. He then took the microphone from Midnight. "It truly is an honour to meet you boys. You should all be very proud of yourselves. Now then, to your awards!" He said as he took a box from Midnight. They had each of our medals in it. Bakugou was first to receive his but he seemed to deny it, doing everything he could to refuse it. All might eventually left it hanging from his nose. All Might then moved on to Todoroki. "Young Todoroki, you be proud that you made it this far. Ignore your father for once and be happy about your achievement!" He said as Todoroki replied, "Thank you All Might." All Might then moved on to me. "It's been a long time since I've seen you Cry. You've changed since last time!" He said, but it only confused me. "We've met before sir? I don't remember that." He then interrupted me, "Er-hem, nevermind that. You fought your heart out, showing not only incredible courage but also selflessness towards others. You are the definition of a true hero!" He said handing me my medal. He placed it over my neck and I began to tear up again. "Thank you All Might!" I said as I raised my left arm into the sky, pointing my index finger upward. Present Mic got back onto the mic, "And there you have it folks. Please give a round of applause for this years, first year finalists!" The crowd began to clap and cheer out our names. "Now let's continue with the second year sports festival!"

-Time Skip-

The sports festival had finally concluded, and I had made my way home. My legs felt much better by now as I no longer needed help to walk. I stood at the sidewalk in front of my house and was preparing to go through the front door. Before I began to walk to the door, my super hearing kicked in and I could hear my parents voices. "Oh where is he!? Do you think he's alright!? He took so much damage in that last fight!" I could tell it was my mother based on what was said. I walked forward and entered my house. My mother might as well have tackled me to the ground, she was so relieved. "Are you ok sweetie!? Were you hurt!?" I slowly answered her question, "It's nothing that can't be fixed now." As I raised my left hand and showed it to my parents. "Oh my goodness son, are you alright!?" My dad asked as I responded, "I'm fine now, the pains gone away. But I guess my right hand will have to be my new dominant." I said jokingly. "Oh sweetheart, you shouldn't have overdone yourself." I quickly responded to my mother, "I know mom but there was something I had to prove to someone." My dad's face grew curious, "And who would that be son?" He asked as I replied to his question. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. But that's beside the point. I've got news to tell you. I've got a new quirk ability!" I said to them as we continued our conversation of today until late in the night.
