Chapter 62

Agatha's P. O. V

    It was time to do our works, since I and Avery are assigned the same chore I began to search for her with my eyes but I didn't find or see her. Since I also had connection I bribed my way to Avery's room. I saw her sitting on her bed, her lips were torn, she sat there with tears in her eyes, I felt bad, she shouldn't be going through this, she doesn't deserve this, no one does.

     She knows I entered but didn't care to look at me. I went to where she sat and sat beside here,"What happened? ",I asked her.

    " Bella- and I have to face 9 years of torture. I won't be able to see my dad, to comfort him",she sob.

    "Its been three weeks since your case and yet you are still crying, when it reaches a year what will you do? Will you commit suicide? You need to be stronger, fearless and trust no one. Learn to stand up for yourself, learn to fight for yourself, know what you want. Do you think your dad will be happy seeing you like this? Seeing you lose hope, seeing you lose your self confidence, losing your courage and why because of your supposed friend who hurt you, no one is worth your tears, your anger. Let your anger out, punch the wall, break stuffs, scream, take revenge, do something, let your anger out but never keep your anger and hatred in, its not good to lock your anger up, it kills", I ended.

    " Its easier said than done. You have no idea the pain I have been through, the betrayal is just too much to bear, my best friend hurt me, she was family, I never saw her as my best friend instead I saw her as my twin sister. I loved her so much, I never thought she will be the cause of my tears and anger one day. I can still remember when one of our classmate bullied me and she heard of it(she laughs) she beat the hell out of him and her brother punished  him throughout that month,we secretly called him my guardian angel. She promised me that she will always be there when I need her, she promised that she will always be my sister, she promised that she will never leave me",she began to cry.

   "But she never promised never hurt you or cause you pain or make you cry. She was never family",I said as I rubbed her back.

    "We have my sister, I always showed her love, we were never as close as Mil and I were but still we talked. When Mia and Dawn wanted to publicly humiliate her I fought for her, I had to injure my ex- secret lovers sister.......(she seems to be thinking). Now I get it, Dawn and Mia knew that's why they wanted to humiliate her but Mil said they planned it.....I don't get it, it doesn't add up. Mia won't let Mil beat her all for a drama...or can she?", she ended.

    She's confusing me. " I don't get",I said.

   "Neither do I", she said.

    She sighed and looked at me in the eyes," Do I care too much?",she asked.

   "Yes and you need to stop caring too much", I advised.

    " They haven't really given me a reason to hate them to the extent I will stop caring or want to take revenge on them.",she said.

   "Avery Adebisi, you have a visitor",a police woman said as she entered Avery's cell.

   " I will be back",she wiped her tears and the police woman dragged her out.

    Its been twenty minutes since Avery left to see her visitor, I was tired of sitting so I stood up and walked round her cell. I heard a footstep, I looked back and saw Avery looking angry and her fist was tightened.

   "Now they have given me a reason to take revenge on them and this time, no mercy.", she said with rage and anger.
Now we talking, I smiled.

Who was her guest?
What did her guest say to make her this angry?
