Here I am in an expensive restaurant with Mary. I pray this goes well because after this I never want to set my eyes on her again
"What do you want to eat?", I asked politely.
" Anything",she said and I called the waiter.
When we were done in eating, I didn't to ask her a few question about herself.
"So Mary,what are you studying?", I asked.
" I am studying psychology just as Avery is",she smiled. Nice smile but I have seen better.
"Okay, so what country are you from?", I asked.
" Ghana. I am a Ghanaian ",she smiled. Can you stop smiling already?.
" Let's make a deal",she said and I was shocked.
"A deal? Why will I want to make a deal with you?", I asked still in shock.
" To save Avery",she said the smile disappeared from her wicked face.
"I don't understand you", I said.
" Fine, let me break it down for you. You will date me and I promise to never tell Joel about your kiss",she said.
"Why will I do that?", I asked.
" To save Avery. I know you love her and can do anything to put a smile on that gorgeous face of hers", she said.
"Still lost", I said.
" Aaaarrgghh, I know Avery and Joel are dating and he will be so hurt if he knows of the kiss, so what will it be?",she asked.
"Fine, I will give you time to think about. This is my number call me when you have decided", she said as she dropped her number in front of me.
" what makes you think I will do it?",I asked.
"Cause if I tell Joel, I will also tell Avery when she confronts me that I gave you a chance to save her but you didn't", she said and left.
I picked up the stupid paper and tore it to piece. I stood up and paid then I left.
