she admired the sun setting over the top of the pine trees. the sky was painted a mix of oranges, pinks, and blues. her body was leaning against a rail as she spoke.

"i keep waiting. waiting for him to tell me he made a mistake, and that he loves me. every time my phone goes off i immediately check to see if his name pops up," she lets out a shaky sigh before continuing, "sometimes late at night my mind wanders to all the memories we shared. all the dates, late night phone calls, photos, the inside jokes, every thing we had. i end up crying myself to sleep knowing that it's over." a tear slips from her eyes as she stares at her dirty white converses.

shawn hated seeing her like this. the girl he loved  crying over someone that is too oblivious to see how amazing she is.

"y/n," his voice was soft and filled with sympathy. she looked up at him with her bloodshot eyes making his heart ache. "you'll realize someday that he wasn't for you. if he can't see how wonderful and beautiful you are he's not worth your tears. the memories that you two share will always be somewhere in your mind, but you should store them. they are made to look back on one day, but not while you're in the process of getting over him. you can look back on them when you're over him and think, 'did i really think that was cute?' or, 'why the hell did i let him kiss me?" and for the first time in a long time,

umm i don't know how to end this, but i hope you like it! also, this is my 100th imagine :) i can't believe how well this book is doing along with my first shawn mendes imagines. when i started wattpad i never thought i would have this many reads, or that i would of met as many people as i have. it is truly amazing. and it is pretty much all because of our love for shawn and reading😂❤️
