Shawn's pov:
"You'll get over her man, you're about to go back on tour and meet new hot girls. Y/n will mean nothing to you," I scoffed at my cousin's words. Nothing will make me get over her, she will always mean so much to me.

I zipped up my suitcase and put it down beside my bed. I grabbed my phone to see if I had any new notifications. My heart pounded when I saw her name flash across my screen.

Y/n- we need to talk, meet at the old hang out

Shawn- on my way

I grabbed my car keys and pushed past my cousin that was spending the night.

"Where are you going?" He asked following me down the staircase.

"To see y/n." I said before shutting the door and jogging out to my car.

Your pov:
"You know Shawn leaves tomorrow," my mother said as she washed the dishes.

"Yeah," I said looking down at the marble counter tops.

"What happened between you two?" She asked looking over at me as she put the clean dish down.

"Uh," I rubbed my arm nervously, "some things just happened." I said softly.

"Well you know you can always talk about it with me," my mom said giving me a sympathetic look.

"Yeah I know." I said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket. My fingers did a little dance before I sent him a text.

"I'm going to meet up with Shawn, I'll be back later." I said grabbing my car keys.

"Okay, be safe." My mom called out as I closed the front door.

3rd person
Y/n kicked a small rock into the clear water as she waited for Shawn. The small speech she prepared to tell him lingered in her head. The sound of dead leaves crunching made her turn around. Shawn's eyes met hers, she noticed that they looked sad and dark. He had dark bags underneath his eyes, like he hasn't slept in weeks.

He got closer to her, making her heart race. Shawn was an emotional mess on the inside seeing her for the first time in almost a month. His breathing quickened when he stopped in front of her. The small silence between them was filled with the rushing water beside them.

"I'm sorry," she admitted, "I- I should of never said we were a mistake because that is definitely not true. I love you Shawn, and I miss you. I know I'm probably too late, but-." Shawn cut her off by crashing his lips on hers. She was caught off guard at first, but kissed back with passion. She ran her fingers through his hair, his hands trailed up her hips to the middle of her back. They pulled away after a couple of seconds for air.

"I've waited so long to hear you say that," Shawn said with a bright smile. His forehead was pressed against hers. She smiled also being happy that Shawn and her were together.
