I woke up with my arms behind my head and a body on top of mine.
I looked down to see Adaeze cuddling me with one leg over both of mine and an arm wrapped around my torso. Her head laid on my chest.

I don't get tired of this.
Waking up to see her latched onto me. I mean I've only had it for like a week but still. I wake up to that smell of sweet flowers and feeling how soft her skin is.
It's been a month and a half of her living here and I've just been patiently waiting for this crush to go down. It still hasn't.
I rolled over and held her in my arms.
Now she's my girlfriend.
I hope the crush gets even stronger to be honest.

I had to get ready for practice in ten but for now I just wanted to lay here.

I got back home and was excited.

"What's up, bud?" my dad asked while he made a bagel sandwich.
"Life's goin' good." I smiled. I went to the fridge and took out a bottle of water and a container of fruit.
"Oh yea?"
"Went up in weights today. Didn't miss a single shot. Made six threes." I ate a few strawberries then put the container back into the fridge. "First game is in three weeks and it's home. And I got a girlfriend now who might be the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on." I opened my water bottle and started drinking it.
He looked at me after closing his bagel.
"Don't tell mom." I swallowed. I walked to the stairs.
"You can't hide this forever!"
I ran up the stairs. "I'll figure it out!"

I made it to my room and saw Adaeze sitting up and stretching.
I went to her and started burying kisses into her cheek. She giggled and held my face gently in her hand.

I stood up so she could get out of the bed.
"Good morning." She smiled.
"Good morning. Did you just wake up?" I started grabbing clothes to shower.
"No, I woke up a few minutes ago." she answered.

We both left to head to the bathroom.

"I'm about to shower." I told her.
"Okay." She started getting her toothbrush ready.

"When is the party?" she asked then started brushing her teeth.
"Not until late tonight. Like 10." I stripped and threw my clothes in the hamper then got in the shower.

"KO!" Tatum yelled from outside the door.
"WHAT?!" I shouted while I started washing my hair.
"CAN I BORROW YOUR GREY HOODIE?!"
"NO?! WHY?!"
"FOR MY FIT! COME ON, I GOTTA GO SOMEWHERE IN A BIT!"
"DARK GREY OR LIGHT GREY?" I asked while I lathered.
"DARK GREY!"
"FUCK NO!"
"COME ON, PLEASE?! I GOT A DATE!"
"YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR! HOW DO YOU HAVE A DATE?!"
"MOM SAID I CAN USE HERS! LET ME WEAR THE HOODIE!" he begged.
"ALRIGHT, FINE! BUT IF YOU BRING IT BACK AND IT LOOKS ANY DIFFERENT, I'LL KILL YOU!"
"NECKLACE TOO?!"
"FINE, TATUM! GO AWAY!"
"Bet."

"You two are cute." Adaeze snickered after spitting out her toothpaste.
"He's annoying."
"All siblings think that."
"It's true."
"Did you eat breakfast?" she asked.
"No. Only a few strawberries."
"Can we eat breakfast when you finish?" she offered.
"Yea, what do you want?"
"Um...I don't know yet."
I snickered. "Alright, we'll figure it out in a bit."
"Okay."
I heard her leave the bathroom while I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair and the soap off my body.

I left the bathroom with my towel draped on my head to dry my hair.

Daisy came out of her room. She was in shorts and a regular black t-shirt. She wasn't wearing makeup but she was wearing her glasses and was as pretty as she always was. She also had her hair up.

She walked up to me.
"We're matching." she smiled.
I looked at my fit like I forgot what I had on. I was in grey sweats and a plain black t-shirt. Her shorts were a darker grey and sweatpants material. And her shirt was black but it had some words and pictures on it.
"Trying to be like me?" I teased.
"No, you're trying to be like me." she argued.
"Yea, okay." I scoffed.
We both walked towards the stairs and I let her go down them first.

I could see through the window that my mom's car was gone so I knew Tatum had left. Everyone else was here.

"What do you want for breakfast, mama?" I asked.
She came and stood next to me while I looked in the pantry.

Really all we had was pancake mix, cereal, granola bars, one more bagel, and frozen waffles.

"I'm kind of in the mood for pancakes." I stated.
"Pancakes is fine." she agreed.
"Alright." I grabbed the box.
"Eh?" she asked.
I snickered and looked at her while I closed the pantry. "What?"
"We won't make them homemade?" she asked.
"Do you want to?"
She nodded with the doe eyes staring through me.
"You know, I'm starting to think you've realized it's hard for me to say no to you." I stated.
"Nooo..." she argued.
"Sure."

I put the box away then started grabbing the ingredients I knew for a fact we needed.
She grabbed a few too.

She grabbed measuring cups and mixing spoons.

"You just remember the recipe?" I asked her.
"Mhm."
"Are...Nigerian pancakes different from our pancakes?" I asked.
She froze and looked at me. "I don't know."
I went back to the pantry and grabbed the box.

"Is this what your pancakes look like?" I asked.
"No."
"Alright. What about this, I make these and you make yours and we try them to see which we like better." I offered.
"Okay." she nodded.
"Cool." I grabbed a mixing bowl so we could get started.
