"This one." she said and we stopped at the racing game with the steering wheels.
"Really? I drive you around everyday." I scoffed.
"I like this one."
"Alright." I shrugged.

We sat in the chairs and I put tokens into the machines.

We customized the cars and typed in our usernames.

We chose a place and pressed start together.

The timer went down and we started.

I was pretty relaxed about this one too. I don't even know if she drives. I mean she doesn't drive here because our license is different, I know that. But she's never mentioned driving.

I looked around wondering where Dylan and Mila were. We lost them a while ago.

I looked the other way and saw them. Mila was looking over here and we made eye contact. I didn't want her to think I was staring so I looked away fast and back at the game.

I heard a loud noise and looked at Adaeze's screen.

She already won the race.
I looked back at mine and only just crossed the finish line.

"What the fuck..." I muttered.
"I win." she stated.
"Do you even drive?" I wondered.
"All of the time. Yes. I love driving."
"Huh. The more you know." I stared in shock.

I looked at her screen.

"1st Place!" said the screen.
I saw she'd typed her username as Daisy. I snickered.

We got our tickets and I let her pick the next game again.

She pointed at one of the games with guns. It was a zombie apocalypse game.
"Really?" I asked.
"You play gun games."
I snickered. "Well, yea...but I didn't know you'd want to."
"Yes."

We walked over.

~

We'd finished playing two other games.
I won one and she won the other.

We were out of tokens and we both had a lot of tickets.
But technically I won the most games.

We went to the area to trade the tickets in.

I let Adaeze go first and she handed them to the guy who stuck it through a machine that counted them all.

"205." he stated.
She looked behind him at the stuff on the walls.
"Aww..." she whined.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I don't have enough." She pointed at a stuffed dog on the wall. It costs 450.
I gave the guy my tickets. "Can you combine them?" I asked.
"Yea." he nodded.
"But then-..."
"It's fine, I didn't want anything. I played because you wanted to." I interrupted her.

"500." the guy told us.
"Can we get that dog?" I asked.
He turned around and walked to it. "This?"
"Yea."
He pulled it off and walked it back to us.
Adaeze excitedly took it. "Look at how cute!" she smiled at me while she held it in her arms.
I snickered.
"You have 50 left. You can get a bouncy ball or candy or something."
I took a bouncy ball out of the bowl. "Thanks." I told him.
"No problem."
We walked off.

I walked next to her with my hands in my pockets. I was fucking nervous...
"So..." I began.
She looked up at me while she held her stuffed dog.
"I won the most so I can do, be, get whatever I want, right?" I asked.
"Yes." She nodded.

She waited patiently with me as we made it to the lobby of the theater to wait for Dylan and Mila.

"Can I be your boyfriend?" I asked.

She turned to look at me. "Huh?"
"You said I can get whatever I want. Can I be your boyfriend? Can I get you as my girlfriend?" I reiterated.
She smiled at me. It made my heart race.
"Yes." she agreed. "You can be my boyfriend and get me as your girlfriend."
I smiled to myself and looked away from her.

I saw Dylan and Mila coming.

"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yea." said Dylan.
"Cute dog." Mila told Adaeze.
"Thank you. Koda got it for me." She smiled.
"Oh..." Mila responded.

I turned around so we could all leave.

We split up and headed to our cars. I felt bad for Dylan. He honestly looked like his time was shit.
I, however, left with a hot girlfriend. So...I'm doing pretty well.
Not to be a dick.
I'll check in on him later.

We got in the car and I pulled out of the driveway.

"Did you have that idea from the beginning?" Adaeze asked me.
"What? Asking you to be my girlfriend?"
"Yes."
"I got it when you said whoever was the winner could have whatever they want. Because I tried to think of what I'd want." I admitted.
"And you wanted me?" she asked cutely and I chuckled.
"Yea, I wanted you."
She giggled and sat back in her seat.

"I did not like her." she spoke up.
I looked at her for a second. "Who? Mila?" I asked.
"Mhm."
"Because she bumped into you?"
"Because she was rude. I say hi, she does not say hi back. I talk to her in the concession line she does not answer. I stare at my phone instead, she asks if you are my boyfriend. I said no. She says you are hot. Asks me if I want to switch. I almost hit her! But I ignore her and look back at my phone. She asks again. But then you talk to me and I leave her because I did not like her."
"And that's when she bumped into you?"
"Mhm. Idiot bitch."
I was caught off guard. "I think that's the first time I've heard you curse." I snickered.
"She made me angry."
"Well I don't think we're gonna see her again. Dylan didn't like her either."
"Did you like her?" she asked.
"No. I didn't like her the moment she pushed you." I answered.
"Good." She sat back with her arms crossed.
I looked at her.
She was staring out the window.
She really did not like Mila. I don't think I've ever seen her this annoyed.

Still cute though.
