We made it home and started going up the stairs. She was about to walk to her room until I took her hand and pulled her into mine.

"I have to shower..." she stated.
"In a minute." I held her face in my hands and kissed her.
She had the giant stuffed dog in between us.
I let her lips go. "Give me that." I took it and tossed it onto the bed. She laughed before I put our lips back together.

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket.
I didn't stop what I was doing though.

"Are you going to answer?" she snickered.
"No." I tried to kiss her again.
"I have to shower." she said after blocking my lips with her fingers.
I rolled my eyes. "You don't even smell bad."
"But I don't like feeling dirty at home. I'll be right back." she gave me a quick peck, fast enough that I couldn't make it deeper, then she left my room.
I sighed and took out my phone.

It was a group call with Tristan and Dylan.

I answered.

"How was it?" Tristan asked immediately.
"Terrible." "Perfect."
"Damn." Tristan responded.
"She kept talking during the fucking movie! And she said it wasn't scary but she flinched and spilled the popcorn like twice then tried to laugh it off. That popcorn was like fifty bucks." Dylan ranted.
"No it wasn't." I interrupted.
"It was expensive!" he stated.
True.
"And she was such a fucking pick me, dude." he stated.
"Yea, I noticed that when we were talking about the movie. Like she'd say one thing and we'd disagree and then she'd change her answer. I was even annoyed by it."
"SEE!" he shouted.
"Sorry to hear that, D." Tristan responded. "Ko, how about you?"
"I have a girlfriend now." I said with an embarrassing smile.
"Congratulations."
"I hate my life." said Dylan.
"Bro, don't be like that. You got all year." I encouraged him.
"There's a sorority party tomorrow night. I don't remember for who but a lot of people are going. Can we pop up?" Dylan asked.
"What time? Because I work tomorrow." said Tristan.
"Like 10:30 or 11."
"Then yea."
"Ko?"
"Yea, but I'm bringing Adaeze." I stated.
"Alright."

"At least me and Tris are still bachelors. Right, Tristan?"
"I guess." Tristan responded.
"Used to be the three musketeers. Until Koda decided he was better than us." Dylan stated.
"Bro, shut up. If I didn't go for her, you would have tried to date her. And now when you stare at her ass, I get to punch you." I smiled.
"I don't stare at her ass."
"You're a fucking liar and you must do time." Tristan spoke up and I laughed.
"When have I EVER-..."
"When they went to the register to order food at Charlie's and you stared at her ass and was like 'dude, Koda's so lucky. She's so fucking hot' and then started saying all of the things-..."
"WOAH WOAH WOAH!" Dylan interrupted Tristan. "Relax. I was just saying she was pretty."
"You talked about her body the first day we met her." I reminded him.
"Alright. I'm sorry." he stated.
"Yea."
"Won't happen again. I'd never look at my best friend's girl." he swore.
"Did you look at Reagan?" Tristan asked.
"She didn't have anything to look at."
Me and Tristan both bursted out laughing.

I'm not supposed to think that's funny.

"Did you look at Sophia?" Tristan asked. Sophia was his high school girlfriend. They broke up before college because she was going too far and they didn't think they could do long distance. She was also a volleyball player...so...
"You could give me a pen and paper and I wouldn't be able to draw what Sophia looked like." Dylan swore.
"He's a fucking liar!" I shouted while me and Tristan laughed.
"Bro, I'm so serious! She had black hair, that's it. That's all I remember."
"Yea, alright." I scoffed.

"Hey, Ko."
"Huh?" I answered while I scrolled on my phone.
"Adaeze's only gonna be here until next August."
I froze.
"Are you two gonna do like long distance or something?" Dylan asked.

I forgot about that...

"Bro, why would you ask that? Could you let him be excited for a day?" Tristan asked.
"Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kill your vibe. We were talking about Sophia so I was just wondering, you know?"
I didn't answer.
"I mean you got a year. No need to worry. It's no big deal." he stated.
"Yea." I answered.

Like she was on cue, Adaeze walked into the room.

"I'll talk to you guys later, Adaeze just came in." I stated.
"Alright."
I hung up.

"You didn't have to hang up," she said while she shut my door.
"It's fine. We weren't really talking about anything anyway."
"Can I sleep in here?" she asked.
"Yes, that movie was really scary and if you don't sleep in here with me, I'm gonna have nightmares." I joked.
She giggled and came to climb in the bed.
"But I gotta go shower." I stated.
She sucked her teeth.
I laughed. "You made me wait! Now you have to wait."
"Next time just come in with me." she said and laid down.
"Are you serious? Because I will."
She laughed while she laid there.

"Daisy..." I called.
"Hm?"
"Daisy."
"Yes?" She looked at me.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
She laughed again. "Yes, I'm serious! Now go shower!"
"So when you shower tomorrow-..."
"You can join."
I let out the weirdest fucking giggle of pride while I left the room and she just laughed again.
