"Jungkook, this is embarrassing!" Lisa hid her face inside her hands as she sat in a wheelchair. She was still inside the hospital room yet it felt so weird. She didn't want to go out at all.

Jennie pursed her lips to stifle her laughter. She knew her brother loved his wife. But he was protective of her to this extent, she was unaware of that.

He half squatted in front of the wheelchair, gently holding Lisa's hands which were covering her face, "Walking will strain your back muscles and worsen your injury." With that, he gently kissed her hands.

She was startled the moment she saw him kneeling. "What are you doing? The royal protocols don't allow you to kneel in front of any person; no matter how high their position is. You are not allowed to lower your head or bend your knees in front of anyone, it's against the etiquette of royalty." She softly muttered.

"But it entitles me to kneel before my soulmate; to bow before my queen," his azure eyes shone with pride, and his lips curved upwards as he spoke.

As he stood up, he kissed her forehead lightly, making her little heart flutter. For a moment, she thought if he could he could hear the sound of her loudly beating heart.

"How do you know about royalty protocols, sister-in-law?" Jennie's voice interrupted the ambiguous moment between the couple. Nope, she didn't do it on purpose. She was just a little too dense to discern the sparks that were flying between them.

Jungkook glanced at Lisa as she nodded before he spoke "It's because she is from one of the royal families."

'What?!' Jennie was taken aback, "But she is not a Gong...wait.. she is a Kim..are you talking about the Kims? The family which suddenly disappeared from the spotlight decades ago."

For a moment, Jennie was shell-shocked because she thought Lisa was a member of the Gong Family and no one was aware of it. In her memory, she had completely forgotten the existence of Kims. Not only her, the citizens, the media, and even most of the influential figures in the country have forgotten the existence of the third royal family.

It wasn't their fault since they had witnessed the downfall of the Kim Family, then why would they remember them after that when their names were not even mentioned in the past decade?

Kim Cheng, the Old Master of the Kim Family, has been a legend that they spoke of. But they had no pieces of information about him. It was like he never existed. Over time, Kims were excluded from the discussions when royalty was spoken of.

That was the reason, Jennie, who was a teenager at that time, didn't remember it well. She composed herself before apologizing, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way..."

Lisa shook her head as Jungkook continued, "You have met Grandpa Kim before."

"When?" Jennie was confused.

"Well, you were recently appointed as the CEO back then, and it was the first time I visited you after taking over the Jeon Empires."

She nodded absent-mindedly "I don't have many recollections of it though.

Jungkook looked at her as if he was looking at a fool, "You were too young."

What the meant was she was too young to remember anything clearly at that time, so it was useless to think so hard about it.

Lisa almost laughed out loud.

Jennie pursed her lips. Having such a reticent person as a brother was both a blessing and a curse at the same time. He cared for them, protected them, and loved them to the core without speaking much. But when came to insulting their IQ, he just had to speak a sentence and it will get onto their nerves.

Jungkook stroked Lisa's head as he spoke "Go ahead, I'll review the contract for you."

His gaze deepened the moment Jennie pushed the wheelchair as they made their way out of the room. He took out his phone before making a call, "Make sure you stay nearby. Enclose the whole place but don't be discovered. Protect her well." He coldly commanded before hanging up.

...

"Who could have thought that you would turn out to be the heiress of Kim Family? I'm still shocked by it," Jennie sighed, "Here the public thinks the Kims don't exist anymore in the high-class social circle, yet on the other hand they don't know about your and your brother's real identity. I am quite excited for the moment when the truth comes to light."

Lisa raised an eyebrow at the mention of her brother as she asked, "What do you think of my brother? He is handsome, successful, and is the second most eligible bachelor. Don't you think he is the perfect husband material for you?"
