Levi POV

My mouth opens and closes.

I had done that 5 times already and I still couldn't say what I needed to.

Rather more, ask.

I chew on the inside of my cheek.

Y/N's horse was leading, in a steady trot as she looked off to her side at the lake we were passing.

We both still had much to discuss but I think we were enjoying the peace.

Neither of us wanted to ruin it.

My mouth opens once more before I blurt it out.

"Felix...."

Y/N turns, her eyes meeting my own as her head tilts to the side.

"What is he like?"

She smiles. Her face blushes as she closes her eyes smiling at me.

"Like you."

My face drops, kicking my horse to come to her side.

"What does that mean? You say it like it's a bad thing."

She laughs, covering her mouth.

"No, no. He just... Well Felix likes who he likes and the people he doesn't, he makes no effort to hide that."

My eyes narrow further.

"So the boys honest, what's wrong with that?"

She smiles further, raising her brows as she holds her only free hand up.

"Nothing."

I roll my eyes at her looking away.

"Come on Levi, that is you to the core. Don't try and act like it isn't."

I ignore her statement, choosing not to respond.

I look over to her.

Taking in her new look.

This woman didn't have a bag angle.

She was slim, but had more tone and muscle to her then I had ever seen before.

Her jaw was sharp, same with her nose.

Her hair reached her ass now, bushing back and forth on the saddle as we continued on.

I run my tongue over my teeth, breathing in and trying to steer my mind elsewhere.

"When did the bangs happen?"

My brow was raised, a grin already plastered on my face.

Her eyes narrow before she even looks to me.

She glares at me.

She's never been able to accept a complement.

She fidgets with her bangs, sweeping them back behind her ear and then blowing them out of her face when they get in the way.

"It was a impulse decision. I hate them, I'm honestly just going to let them grow out-"

"Don't."

Y/N's face flushes as she turns to look at me.

"I like them. They suite you."

She drops her gaze looking away, her hands clenching around the rope.

Shaking my head, I laugh.

Her head whips back around, eyes wide like something was wrong.

"What?"
