Chapter 254: Friendly Fire (Part 2)

Camp Kinser - Okinawa island - Japan
September 1st, 2060 - 0:32 AM
It's quite complicated for me right now. I was woken up by strange loud noises which sounded like gunshots. At first, I thought the new sent troops were having a training course in this area before conducting the next assault.
For some reason, the troops were not informed by their superior that we were having a rest there. But that was just my misunderstanding, and I almost died 'cause of that. Luckily, that gunshot round didn't take my life. Instead... we were all shocked to know what was happening to us.
Now we're locked in this corner, we have to stay behind the wall. Behind us has about 9 PLA soldiers. While in the hallway we're trying to go through, has an unknown unit, may be our allies... or hostiles.
"Hold your fire, friendly fire! Friendly fire!". - John peeked his mouth to the wall a bit, crouching and yelling loudly
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - The wall was shredded by the rifles' bullets, Commander had to stay covered
"I said we're friendly! Hold your fire, soldiers!!!!".
"Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Again, this try was rewarded by a pointless line of bullets
"I saw some of 'em, too far so they can't see or hear us!". - John grumbled while speaking to us, his hand holding the pistol tightly
"Morse code, use Morse code". - My sis suddenly asked us to shoot a Morse code to send an SOS meaning to the soldiers
"We're in the middle of a gunfire, forget it!". - John rejected the suggestion, he kept his eyes on the hallway. "The Chinese are about to be here soon, so do our men".
"Hold off their movement! Keep firing to stop 'em from moving forward!". - Commander suddenly ordered us. "Hatano, Sarah, hold off the PLA, others follow my lead".
"Roger". - I took the order from my Commander
John hands me the pistol and some mags. He points to the hallway behind us - where the PLA soldiers are coming to. Reimi puts in my hand a grenade, then returns to John and Princess. We must do it!
"Sarah, nade the hallway...". - My sis told me to get a grenade thrown into that corner
She points her rifle - Howa Type 20 or something, to the long hallway. I snatch away the grenade's pin, then make a pose to take the momentum. Alright, I raise the grenade while holding the safety lever carefully. I count the distance I am about to throw it.
"Urrrghhh!". "Threw frags!". - I threw the grenade away, then immediately laid on the floor to avoid the flying scraps when it explodes
"Boom!!!!!". - After a few seconds, the grenade exploded, I saw a PLA facing it then he fell on the floor
"Bang! Bang! Bang!". - My sis pointed the Type 20 out and started blasting. "Bang! Bang! Bang!". "Bang! Bang! Bang!". - She kept her eyes on the ACOG scope of the rifle for more accurate shots
"Alert! Hostile paratroopers are nearby, some have touched the ground". "Launching ETW system!!!". "All units be advised, fight with Alrotz masks on, I repeat, fight with Alrotz masks on". "Launching ETW". - The loudspeakers suddenly voiced out something when we were shooting the enemies
"What the fuck?". - John was aware of this strange information
"Get down, everybody!!!!!". - My sis suddenly yelled
"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!". - As we lay on the floor, a deadly line of gunshots fired at us from the PLA side... but all missed
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - My sis kept trying to blast a PLA soldier, who was crawling toward us while shooting at us. "I've got him, eight left to go!". - Done informing us, my sis reached her hand to a nearby ammo pouch
