As we drove to MeriTech again, I couldn't help but notice how much Klaus made Y/n laugh. In our... well, I don't know how long, but Y/n and I have been friends for very long, and I've never made her laugh like that.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've made her smile and whatever, but I'm just not doing enough.
I'm not thinking of this in a weird way. I'm just concerned about Y/n and my friendship.
She's a very good friend of mine, and I want to make sure we stay friends for a while. Well, as long as we have left if we don't save the world in time.
"We're here." I said plainly as I parked at MeriTech. I must admit that I sounded quite bitter, but Y/n ignored me the whole ride.
Klaus is out as soon as we're done with this.

I couldn't help but notice how quiet and tense Five was as we made our way to MeriTech. He's never this quiet. He always has something sarcastic to say.
Before I could ask Five what was up, Klaus told me another story that occurred in rehab with a buddy of his that made me crack up.
I started wheezing. The kind of laugh where you can't breathe but still need to laugh since the joke was so funny. Klaus and my humor is very similar while Five has dry humor. Still funny, but not wheezing funny.
"We're here." I heard Five's monotone voice as he parked the car aggressively. He slammed the breaks quite hard as Klaus, unbuckled, slammed his face into the front of the seat.
I put my hands over my mouth as I have to control my laughter. Five already seems to be in a horrible mood. I'll check up on him after this.
"Come on. Lets go before our target leaves." Five ordered as he stuck both his hands in his pockets and started walking away, leaving Klaus and I still stuck in the car.
I raised a singular eyebrow as I unbuckled my seat and got out of the car as Klaus jogged to catch up to me. He stayed by my side.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Klaus joked.
"No kidding." I scoffed as I continued to analyze the grumpy Five Hargreeves walking in front of us. His posture is horrible.
"I wonder why..." I trailed off as I was still uncertain for his sudden mood swing. It must be his time of the month I joked to myself.
