I, Monster: Part 4/The Pulverizer: Part 1

Brooke's POV:

Leo: "Please, Father. We need you."

Rat King: "Don't listen to them, brother. Your place is with me."

Splinter shoves the guys off him and pins me back to the ground with his sword in the air.

Splinter: "My place...is with my family!"

Splinter charges towards Falco, shoving him over into a pipe with just two of his fingers. We all pull him into a hug.

Turtles & I: "Sensei!"

We all turn as a group of rats carry an unconscious Falco away.

Mikey: "And that's the last we'll see of, 'Count Ratula'. Yeah, all right. It's Rat King. But I'm naming the next one."

{Time skip}

Everyone hangs out in the living room while Leo & I talk to Splinter in the dojo.

Leo: "Sensei, are you sure you're ok?"

Splinter: "I am fine. Thanks to you. You did well, my students."

Leo dons a teasing smile.

Leo: "Well, you did hesitate, and hesitation leads to vulnerability."

The others enter the dojo with smiles.

Mikey: "We did pretty good, too, huh?"

Splinter: "Yes, I am proud of you all."

Leo: "Who knows? Maybe one day we'll be even better martial artists than you."

Splinter: "Remember, my son, everything you know, I have shown you."

Splinter grabs Leo's arm, flings him over his back, and tosses him into the wall.

Splinter: "But, I have not shown you everything I know."

Leo: *groans* "It's great to have you back, Sensei."

{A/N: I'm skipping over 'Alien Agenda' since I don't see Brooke's presence in it having any significant changes}

The four of us are out by the abandoned Subway tracks waiting for Donnie's 'big surprise'.

Mikey: "Ugh, what's taking so long? Donnie knows I have a short attention-Ooh, gum!"

Raph slaps the wad of gum out of Mikey's hand.

Raph: "Man, this better be worth it."

Suddenly, a giant subway car rolls up to us.

Raph & I: "Worth it."

The doors open to reveal Donnie standing inside with a smug grin.

Donnie: "So?"

Leo: "You turned Leatherhead's old subway car into this?"

Raph: "Donnie, have I ever told you how awesome you are?"

Donnie: "No, you haven't."

Raph: "Well, I am seriously considering it."

Me: "What do you call this thing?"

Donnie: "Well, it's a transaxled, multi-armored, electromagnetic-"

Mikey: "The Shellraiser."

Donnie: "What?"

Mikey: "The Shellraiser. It's the perfect name."

The brothers all turn to me as I shrug my shoulders.

Me: "He's got my vote."

Mikey: "Of course, Queen B. You guys always underestimate me."

Donnie leads us into the vehicle and turns it on.

Donnie: "Now, I've assigned everyone to a station based on your individual skill sets. I can't drive, because my station's in the back, so-"

Turtles: "Driver!"

The guys rush to the driver's seat until Donnie blocks them with his bo staff.

Donnie: "Brooke drives."

Turtles: "Why?"

Donnie: "She's least likely to hit something just for fun."

Turtles: "True."

Me: "What if Leo and I rotate nights? We're already co-leaders, why not co-drivers?"

Donnie seems to think it over.

Donnie: "Fine, Leo takes the wheel tonight. Meantime, Raph & Brooke are in charge of weapons. I'm in charge of power & music, and Mikey's in charge of navigation."

They all nod, Leo with a grateful smile, as we walk off to our assigned stations.

Leo: "So, how do we get this baby going?"

A monitor turns on as Donnie takes his seat in the back.

Donnie: "Ok, just ease the throttle forward ever so-"

Leo follows his instructions, and we race off with a start.

Raph: "Whoo! What is powering this thing?"

Donnie: "The Kraang power cell we got from Leatherhead."

Leo: "I thought you said that was dangerous, like the Kraang could track it."

Donnie: "That's why I put it under a lead glass shield. Now I can regulate the output and prevent the Kraang from detecting its signal."

Mikey: "I hate to interrupt, but dead end!"
