Brooke's POV:

Afterwards, Leo, Raph, & I are all spread out amongst ourselves in the living room. Leo's watching 'Space Heroes', Raph's on the left side of the couch reading his favorite edition of 'Modern Ninja Magazine', I sit opposite from him reading a mystery novel, and Mikey & Donnie are stood at the entrance to the lair. Once Leo's favorite character, Captain Ryan, starts a cheesy heroic speech, Leo dons a wide smile as he quotes him word for word. He then turns to us as he stands, diverting my attention from my book onto him.

Leo: "Gentleman, and milady, I have a bold and daring plan. There's no time for hesitation. my orders must be carried out without question."

I give a playful smile as I stand up, placing my book onto the couch as I salute him.

Me: "Yes sir, Commander Leo."

Leo's smile grows wider as he continues our fun.

Leo: "That's Captain Leo to you, Lieutenant."

Raph then looks at us from behind his magazine with an annoyed look.

Raph: "You know this show is stupid, right?"

Leo & I turn to him with looks identical to his own.

Leo: "Space Heroes is a great show, and Captain Ryan is a great hero. Someday, I am gonna be just like him."

Me: "You bet you will, Leo. Besides, Raph, we were just having fun. You're not jealous, are you?"

3rd Person POV:

That makes Leo smirk, Brooke giggle, and Raph blush. Truth be told, over the years, Raph has begun to have feelings for Brook, and vice versa. The only other people who know about this are Leo, Donnie, Mikey, & Splinter. The thing is, neither of them want to reveal their feelings for one another in fear of causing damage to their current relationship. So, they decide to keep things to themselves, even if the others have caught on quickly. Nonetheless, Raph tries to cover his blushing by raising his magazine over his eyes and giving a teasing remark to his eldest brother.

Brooke's POV:

Raph: "Well, you do like to hear yourself talk, so you're on your way. And I'm not jealous, Brookie."

I growl in annoyance at the nickname. I hate that nickname, and he knows that. They all do. But they only ever use it to annoy or tease me, and to prove their side of an argument to be true. That last one never works, but they still avoid using it for the sake of their wellbeing. Relax, the worst I've ever done is ask for Raph's assistance in teaching them a lesson. Since we're partners in crime in that remark, he's the only one I let off for using the nickname. In recognition of that fact, I just give a playful eye roll as Mikey calls us to the lair's entrance.

Mikey: "Come on, guys! It's go time!"

To which, we acknowledge as we run to stand beside he & Donnie as we turn to face Splinter from across the room to give our goodbyes.

Splinter: "You are going up to a strange and hostile world. You must maintain awareness at all times, and heed Brooke's words. She has had more experience than you four."

Turtles: "Hai, Sensei."

Splinter: "Stay in the shadows."

Turtles: "Hai, Sensei."
