HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER THIRTY ONE:
CONFESSIONS

El and Stephenie were looking for the source. Stephenie decided to try and look for something else. Steve. Even though she had already tried him, she needed to know where he was. Stephenie entered the void again walking around until she came to Steve and Robin tied up into chairs. They both looked beat up, especially Steve.
"Steve" Stephenie spoke out lowering herself to where Steve's head was "please answer, I need to know if you're okay" No response.

"I miss you" she said letting a tear run down her cheek "I just need a Steve hug" and then Steve and Robin woke up. "If you can hear me, say something" Stephenie pleaded.

"Robin, am I hearing things, or can you hear Stephenie?" Steve said making Stephenie run around to Robin "Robin please, where are you guys" Stephenie asked, "Yeah, I hear her too, she asked where we are" Robin said

"Tell her" Steve said making Robin laugh. "Okay, Stephanie... we are in a—" Robin said before the swing open, 2 men dressed in uniforms came in and walked towards them. Stephenie walked towards them "Don't touch them!" She screamed before they turned to dust, she looked around to see Steve nowhere.

Stephenie completely started to break down again. Robin never finished where they were. Stephenie threw her blind fold off and started to struggle to breathe, letting out whimpers because she couldn't breathe. El heard and immediately removed her blindfold pulling Stephenie close to her, making sure she was okay.

Stephenies breathing normalized after a few minutes and she grabbed the blind fold again but El grabbed her hand
"I can do it. you can rest" El  said and Stephenie nodded and left the room

when Stephenie entered the room, he was greeted by Max and Mike arguing
"Stephenie just got her powers, she's probably overwhelmed" Mike said

"I'm glad you are worried for my health Mike but I'm fine" she said and the two continued to fight

"What if she gets brain damage or something?" Mike asked

"Oh shit— is that like, a thing?" Lucas looked between the three teens and Max shook her head. Stephenie rolled her eyes and walked over to Will, and hugged him as he sat in a chair

"You okay?" Will asked

"Peachy" she replied, before Max and Mike came over

"Okay can you guys settle an argument for us?" Max asked "who do you think should decide El and Stephs limits, Mike or Eleven and Stephenie?" Max asked

"The way that you frame that is such bullshit" Mike said

"It's not bullshit Mike this is your whole problem and it's also precisely the reason why El dumped your ass"

"El dumped you?" Nancy asked

"Yes because she is conspiring against me, shes corrupting her, even Stephenie!"

"Enlightening her, the fact is El isn't yours" Max said

"she's her own person fully capable of making her own decisions" Stephenie continued

"They're risking their life for no reason!"

"For no reason? Mike the flayer are still out there doing god knows what"

"Killing, flaying"

"Transforming into monsters"

"El isn't stupid, she knows her and Stephs abilities better than any of us— and Steph is more than capable of telling us when she's had enough"

"Exactly, thank you" Max said

"And she is her own person"

"Exactly"

"With her own free will"

"Exactly. El has saved the world twice and Mike still doesn't trust her"

"You wanna talk about trust, really after you guys made Eleven spy on us?" Mike asked

"Wait what?" Lucas asked looking to Will who also had a confused look

"Oh, they didn't tell you guys this?"

"No" Lucas and Will said

"Your girlfriends used Els powers to spy on us" Mike exclaimed

"No, no, no We did not make her, it was her idea" Max said

"and why are we even talking about this, seriously?" Stephenie asked

"Yeah who cares?" Will agreed

"I care! It was your girlfriend too" Lucas said
"Yeah I guess girlfriends don't lie they spy!"

"We were just joking around"

"Wouldn't it have been so funny if I was taking a massive shit or something?" Mike asked

"You weren't" Stephenie said

"But what if I was?" Mike asked

"Than—gross" Stephenie said, trying to cool down, Mike was acting differently recently. Like an asshole if she was honest.

"Seriously mike?" Nancy asked, fed up with her brother

"I'm just trying to demonstrate how careless Max is with Elevens powers, and Stephenies new ones. in fact how careless you all are. Your treating them like some kind of machines, when they aren't and I don't want them to die looking for the flayed when they've obviously vanished of the face of the earth, so can we please just come up with a new plan because I love El and I can't lose her again" Mike said

Stephenies eyes went wide, looking to Will who was just as surprised. then fell into a smirk like Lucas. It was quiet until El came out of the room, They all turned to look at her

"What's going on?" El asked

"Just a family discussion" Lucas said casually

"Oh. I found him"

"Found who?"

El say in front of the TV, trying to find Billy. El started breathing heavily.
"What's he doing now?" Max asked. El and Stephenie went to the kitchen for a break and for water.

"And that's not normal, right?"

"Billy sitting in his room on the forth of July, no that's not normal"

"He wants us to find him"

"Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, if billy knows where we are the rest of the flayed know where we are"

"Yeah I agree, it's a trap. We'll be ambushed"

"We won't be surprised, we'll know there coming and we will kick there flayed butts"

"You mean Stephenie and El will kick there butts"

"It's to risky, killing the flayed won't stop the mind flayer. We have to find where it's spreading from, the source"

"Billy knows it. He's been there"

"But it's—"

"A trap, I know. We can't go to billy. But I think there's another way. A way for Me to see where he's been"

Stephenie sat beside Will on the couch watching as El was finding Billy. All the sudden El started whimpering.
"Something's wrong" Mike said

"Yeah no shit" Stephenie muttered, laying back on the couch before getting flashes off events in her head again. But they had already happened.

Her getting chocked by billy, the monster and a car crashing.

Stephenies breathing quickened and she couldn't stop it. She was having another panic attack. Everyone looked to her as she struggled to breath letting out small sounds trying to breath normally.

Jonathan ran over and picked her up and pull her into a hug hoping that would ease her breathing.

"Stephenie focus on breathing" Jonathan tried to stay calm.

All the sound in the room stopped. She still had uneasy breathing, until Will ran over and pulled her to him and kissed her and her breathing slowed down until she passed out on the ground everything going black.
