HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER NINETEEN:
THE JUNKYARD
They finally finished, just in time for sundown and got in the bus, closing the door. Stephenie, Steve, Dustin and Max were in the bus while Lucas was on top of the bus. Steve sat there playing with his lighter with Stephanie leaning on him. "So you've really fought one of these things before?" Max asked Steve and Stephenie looked at Steve with a concerned look.
Since when has he fought one of these? Steve nodded
"Are your like totally 100 percent sure it wasn't a bear"
"Shit. Don't be an idiot. Okay? It wasn't a bear" Dustin snapped "why are you even here if you don't believe us. Just go home" Max got up and went up the ladder
"Someone's cranky, last your bedtime?" Max went up the ladder, Steve smirked at Dustin
"That's good, just show her you don't care"
"I don't" Steve winked
"Why are you winking Steve, Stop"
After some time there was a growling noise. We all got up and looked out.
"You see him?"
"No"
"Lucas what's going on"
"Just a second— I've got eyes, ten o'clock, ten o'clock!"
"What's he doing"
"I don't know"
"He's not taking the bait, why isn't he taking the bait"
"Maybe he's not hungry"
"Maybe he's sick of cow" Stephenie said
"Steve, Steve what are you doing" Stephenie said as Steve walked towards the door
"Just get ready" he said throwing her keys
Steve stepped out of the bus
"Oh my god" Stephenie said "I can't believe he's doing this"
Max climbed Down to Stephenie and Dustin
"What's he doing?"
"Expanding the menu" Dustin explained
"He's insane"
"He's awesome" Stephenie rolled her eyes and focused back on her brother, then heard a noise come from the other side of the junkyard.
It was another demagorgan.
"Steve watch out!"
"I'm a little busy here"
"Three o'clock Steve, three o'clock!"
They were both so close to him
"Steve!" Stephenie yelled opening the bus door "Steve run!"
"Steve!" Dustin yelled "abort, abort!" They both came towards Steve, he flipped over a car and wacked them
"Steve run!" Steve ran towards the bus the demagorgan right behind him
