HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER NINE:
YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES

Stephenie spent the whole day with Steve, Carol and Tommy. They were bored and Steve was mad. They picked up some bottles of spray paint for the store and made Stephenie write on the movie sign 'starring Nancy the slut Wheeler' she felt bad. They all stood in the alley way beside the theater and Stephenie turned to see Nancy coming down here, she nudged Carol slightly. Stephenie felt a pit grow in her stomach.

"aw hey there princess"

"Uh oh she looks upset" then Nancy slapped Steve across the face. Stephenie gasped

"What is wrong with you" Nancy asked Steve

"What's wrong with me, what's wrong with you I was worried about you. can't believe I was actually worried"

"What are you talking about" Nancy asked cluelessly

"Wouldn't lie if I were you, wouldn't want to be known as the 'lying slut' Do you?" Then Jonathan walked down to the group of us

"Speak of the devil" Tommy said jumping down from the ledge he was on "hi"

"He came by last night" Nancy finally admitted

"Ding ding ding"

"Does she get a prize?"

"Look I don't know what you saw but it wasn't like that" Nancy said

"So you just let him in your room—to study"

"another pervy photo session"

"We were just—"

"Just what? finish the sentence" Steve stepped closer to Nancy "Finish. The sentence"

"Go to hell Nancy" Steve said and walked away
"Come on Nancy lets just go" Jonathan pulled Nancy away from the group

"You know I'm actually surprised Byers, I always took you for a queer but I guess your just a screw up just like your father"

Stephenie zoned out. Why were they so mean to Jonathan? When Stephenie came back from her thoughts she saw Steve and Jonathan fighting, punches and everything.

"Stop" Stephenie called out Tommy holding her back. Then the police sirens came and everyone ran Steve and Tommy pulling Stephenie down the alley

Steve and Stephenie sat on the back of his car they went back to get outside the convenient store.

"You owe me a 1.20" Tommy handed Steve the aspirin and the coke

"Don't worry he'll need more then aspirin when we're done with him"

"If the creep ever gets out, they should just lock him up forever. did you see his face?" Carol mocked how Jonathan was punching Steve "ya probably the same face had when he killed his brother, right" as he padded Steve.

Stephenie stiffened at the mention of Will, Steve noticed and brought her in to a side hug

"Oh sorry I just got a imagine of him making that face when him and Nancy are screwing"

"Carol for once in ur life Shut your damn mouth" Steve yelled

"What?"

"What's your problem man"

"Your both assholes is my problem" Steve said, getting up and Stephanie following him

"Are you Serious?"

"Ya I'm Serious, You shouldn't have don't that"

"Done what?"

"You know what"

"call her out for what she really is, that's Funny cause I don't remember you asking for Stephenie to stop"

"I should've shoved that spray paint down your throat" Stephenie shoved Tommy with a lot of force, and Steve pulled her back

"what the hell Steve" Carol said

"You guys never cared about her, or even liked her" Steve explained "because she's not miserable like you two, she actually cares about other people"

"The slut with a heart of gold!"

"I told you to watch your mouth"

"Hey" Tommy said as he pushed Steve into the car "I don't know whats gotten into you man but you don't talk to her like that"

"Get outta my face" Steve pushed Tommy back

Tommy grabbed Steve's dollar on his shirt and pushed him against the car "or what, or what ur going to fight me now too, cause you couldn't take Jonathan Byers, so I wouldn't recommend that"  Stephenie had gotten in the the car and Steve too and the they drove off

Stephane And Steve pulled up to the theatre where the worker was cleaning what they had wrote
"Need a hand?" The worker looked down at Steve and Stephenie

"Did you have something to do with this?"

"We-we just want to help" the worker came down and handed Steve the rag and Stephenie watched as he went up. right as they started cleaning, Joyce and Hopper pass by

"Hey kid" Hopper called towards her, Stephanie turned around "get in" he told her. Stephenie looked up at Steve.

"Go Steph" Steve said "I got this" Stephenie nodded and got in the car

"Do you know where Mike might have gone" Hopper asked  said while driving "did he say anything to you?"

"No, have you asked Nancy?"

"That's where we are going right now"

When they got Nancy she was with Jonathan and they watched as people took things from the Wheeler house "I have to go home" Nancy said looking at the house

"No, you can't"

"But my mom, my dad are in there!"

"They'll be ok"

"Hey, Hey, listen" hopper said grabbing Nancy "the last thing in the world we need is for them to know you're mixed up in this"

"But mike is over there!"

"They haven't found him, not yet at least" hopper said pointing up to a helicopter

"For Mike!" Nancy yelled as hopper put her in the car. Stephenie was squished in between Jonathan and Nancy in the back seat. Hopper and Joyce turned to them.

"Look, we need to find them before they do, do you have any idea where he might have gone"

"No I don't"

"I need you to think"

"We haven't talked a lot lately"

"is there a place where your parent don't know about where he might go"

"I don't know"

"I do" Stephenie said

"What"

"I don't know where he is but I know how to ask him" she said looking Jonathan who had the same idea as her

As they pulled up to the Byers house they all got out walking inside, Stephanie and Nancy starring at everything in shock but quickly going to Wills Room
"Mike" Nancy said into the walkie

No response. Nancy gave Stephenie the walkie
"Mike If Your there answer"

"Mike we need you to answer, over" Stephenie repeated

"this is a emergency mike, Do you copy? Over" Hopper took the walkie out of Stephenies hand and said "kid this is the chief, if your there answer. we know your in trouble and we know about the girl"
"We can help you, we can protect you but you need to pick up, do you copy, over"

No response

"Anybody got any other ideas?"

Then static came from the walkie
"Yes I copy, it's mike, I'm here........we're here"
