HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER FIFTEEN:
HALLOWEEN NIGHT

At the doctor Stephenie told them she fell on her arm and They wrapped her it and she was done in 30 minutes. When she arrived back home with Steve, she looked for a mask so she could scare the boys with Max. She met up with Max around 7.  Max was wearing a Michael Myers mask with a fake knife. Stephenie decided on a Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th mask with a knife as well.
"Where do you think they are?" Max asked

"I'm sure their around here. They said seven on the dot, so it couldn't have been long" Stephenie said

"Were you supposed to meet them?"

"They knew I was at the doctors" Stephenie held up her arm and Max frowned

"I'm really sorry, I told you my older brother was a dick" Max said

"Max its not your fault it's fine just a little break" Stephenie noticed the four boys coming down from a house

"Shit, they're they are" Stephenie said pulling her behind the bush.

They put on their masks and nodded at each other before running in front of the boys, jumping and yelling making them scream in fear— Lucas very high pitched. they took there masks off laughing as Stephenie held her stomach.

"You shoulda seen the look on your faces!" Stephenie yelled

"And you, who screams like that you sound like a little girl" Max said to Lucas.

Stephenie and Max walked and released they weren't following "Hey are you guys coming, I heard we should hit up loch Nora, that's where all the rich people live, right?" Max asked and Stephenie nodded

"Yeah, Mrs Leonard gives out two Full sized each"

Later that night Max was walking ahead with Lucas and Dustin failing to flirt with her while Stephenie stayed back with mike and Will. mike didn't seem happy, she wanted to know why

"Mike you know the face you make when your mad? You've been making that face the whole night" stephenie said

"Did you agree to this?" Mike asked looking between Will and Stephenie

"To what?" Stephenie asked

"To her joining our party"

"It's just for Halloween, mike" Stephenie said trying to make him calm down

"You should have checked with me"

"They were exited and I guess we thought you'd be okay with it" Will said

"She's ruining the best night of the year" mike, walked off

"Mike" Stephenie tried to talk to him but her ignored it

Stephenie wondered, why was she so easily accepted into the party? Well she was forced but, still Why was he giving Max a hard time, because of El?
"Trick or treat freak" she heard from behind her

"Boo" a couple kids yelled at Will, pushing him to the ground

"Hey ass holes leave him alone" they ran off she sighed "you okay Will?" She turned to see Will looking around, Mike had said something about Will having episodes lately so she assumed it was another one.

"Stephenie? Mike?" Will asked and Stephenie stepped closer to him

"Will I'm right here" Stephenie tried to get his attention but he continued to call out their names before running behind the house still calling out her and Mikes names as if they had disappeared out of thin air.

Stephanie followed right behind him. He hid behind a ledge "Mike!" She called out she kneeled beside Will trying to get him back to normal. She grabbed Wills shoulders

"Will I'm right here!" Stephenie said and Mike ran down the stairs beside her and Stephenie moved to the other side. Mike and Stephenie both tried to get Wills attention and he eventually gasped as if turning out of ram trance. He looked between Mike and Stephenie with a scared look on his face.

"It's okay Will, were right Here" Stephenie said as Will whimpered and Dustin, Lucas and Max ran down towards them

"I'll take you home okay Will" Mike and Stephenie helped him up, Dustin trying to help

"Take it easy"

"I got him, Dustin" Stephenie snapped

"Mike, Steph"

"Keep trick or treating without us see ya tomorrow" Stephenie said while holding Will tight from one side

"Like, like stuck in the upside down?" Stephenie asked

"No, you Know on a view master, when it gets like—"

"Caught between two slides" Mike said

"Yeah yeah like that. Like one slides our world and the other slide is the upside down. then there was this noise and then I saw something"

"The demagorgan?" Stephenie questioned
"No, it was like a hug shadow in the sky. like a huge shadow in the sky, but it was alive, and it was coming for me"
"Is it all real or it like the doctors say, all in your head?"

"I don't know. j-just don't tell the others okay? They won't understand"

"Eleven would" Mike said

"She would?"

"she always did"

"Sometimes I feel like I still see her, like she's still around, but she isn't" Mike confessed "I don't know sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy"

"Me too" Stephenie and Will said at the same time

"Hey, if we're all going crazy, we'll go crazy together"

"Ya, crazy together" Will said grabbing Stephenies hand catching her attention but she just smiled.

That night when Stephenie got home after Karen Wheeler drove her home. She said it was far to late to be out alone, especially in that neighbourhood. she went upstairs to her room but heard muffled cries. Steve had gone to a party but what she didn't expect to see him on his bed, looking broken.

"Steve?" She asked doing a double take in his room

Steve had puffy eyes like he'd been crying.
"Steve what happened?" she said rushing over to him setting her candy beside him
"She doesn't love me" Steve said, his voice breaking

"Who, Nancy?" Stephenie asked

"Yeah, she doesn't love me"

"What? who said that?"

"She got drunk tonight and told me she never loved me and our relationship was all bullshit"

"Oh Steve" Stephenie said bringing him into a hug. Trying to make her brother feel better.

"Thanks Steph" Steve said quietly

"Anytime"

Stephanie grabbed her candy bar and gave Steve a chocolate bar, they probably ate half of her bags that night but Stephanie did it to make him feel better

the Harrington's fell asleep, little did they know that wasn't the worst that would happen in Hawkins.
