HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR:
RUSSIANS
They made it to Starcourt and made there way down the hall of the top floor. Stephenie saw people with guns walking around, clearly looking for someone, so she exchanged glances with El who seemed to have the same idea as her. They stepped forward with and stuck their arm out making the car alarm go off while shaking, the men with guns noticed, than looked up at her. She shot her arm back, than pushed in forwards sending the car flying crushing the men under it. Stephenie felt her nose slightly bleed and she wiped it away before looking down to see Robin, Steve, Dustin and Erica looking up at them from behind a counter with smiles spreading into there faces.
They ran down to them and Stephenie immediately limped over to Steve with Wills Help, Steve's excited look quickly turned to concern when he saw her leg.
"Oh my god, Stephenie what happened to you?" Steve asked looking at her leg while brining get into a tight hug
"Me? what happened to you" Stephenie replied, referring to his clearly beat up face.
"It's a long story" Steve told her
"You flung that thing like a hot wheel!" Dustin said to El hugging her
"Stephenie helped me" El smilied over to her.
"What? How long have you had them?"
"A week" she said looking up at Steve "I didn't see you the whole time, I tried to look for you"
"That's why we heard you in our heads, wasn't it?"
"Yeah" Stephenie said smiling
"Steph that's awesome!" Steve said hugging her
"I still don't understand what happened to that car" Robin said
"Stephenie and El have super powers"
"What"
"Stephenie and El threw it with their minds, come on catch up" Steve said as if it was nothing
"That's El?" Erica pointed at El
"Who's El?"
"I'm sorry, who are you?"
"I'm Robin, I work with Steve"
"She cracked the top secret code"
"Yeah, witch is how we found out about the Russians in the first place"
"Russians?what Russians?"
"The Russians!"
"Those were Russians?" Stephenie asked
"Some of them"
"What are you talking about?"
Stephenie started to get light headed and walked away, then her ears popped and she heard a ringing in her ear getting louder, before falling to the ground immediately seeing Steve at her side and Will on the other
"What's wrong with her?" Erica asked
"What's wrong? what's wrong? what's wrong?" Mike asked frantically
"My leg, My leg!" Stephenie groaned
"Her leg" Steve repeated
"Jonathan pulled her pant leg up revealing her bloody bandage and cut with things nobody knew on it. Something started to move in her leg and she screamed in pain.
"Steph!"
"Stephenie"
"Steph, are you okay!"
"Steph, Steph!" She screamed louder
they all sat in the mall trying to figure out what to do watching as Stephenie screamed in pain. The thing started moving in Stephenies leg again and she grabbed Steve's hand even harder.
"Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan said running off
"Jesus Christ" Dustin said
"You know, it's actually not that bad. The goalie on my soccer team, Beth wildfire, another girl slid into her leg and like the whole bone came out of her leg, like six inches or something, it was insane" Robin said— Stephenie looked up at Steve with a horrified look on her face.
"Robin" Steve said
"Yeah"
"Your not helping"
"I'm sorry" she said as Jonathan came back with a knife and a wooden spoon
"Okay. All right, Steph. This is going to hurt like hell, okay?"
Stephenie nodded while tears slipped "okay"
"you need to stay still All right. Here, you might want to bite down on this, okay?" Jonathan said handing will the spoon and putting it in her mouth.
"Jesus Christ" Dustin said "Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit" he said while Jonathan hesitated to do it.
"Do it" Will said
"Okay" he said cutting the wound open with a knife making Stephenie cry in pain. Everyone was grossed out and then Jonathan stuck his hand in her leg searching for anything. Stephenie cried loudly.
"Jonathan" Nancy screamed out
"Stop talking"
"Stop"
"God damn it" Stephenie spit out the wooden spoon before yelling out
"Stop it! Stop it!"
"Stop, Stop" Nancy said to Jonathan
"Stop—I can't do it" Stephenie manages to get out "I can do it" she said sitting up, with Will helping her
She put her hand out.
"I'll help" Eleven says before sticking her arm out too and Stephenie nodded. Stephenie and Eleven start to try to get the monster out of her leg.
"God" Stephenie groans "God"
Stephenie and Eleven start screaming making the glass break then the monster came out and El lowered her hand, exhausted. Stephenie raised her hand more and throws the monster across the mall— To get stepped on my a boot. Stephenie looked up to see, Hopper, Joyce and a random guy she didn't know.
