HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER SIX:
IT CANT BE HIM

After she explained to Mr Clarke why she was late, Stephenie walked over to the corner of the field where Lucas, Mike, Dustin, Troy And James were bothering the three boys again. She saw Mike go to walk away but Troy put his foot out making Mike trip "Hey shit birds!" Stephenie yelled making Troy and James heads shoot up in her direction, their eyes filled with slight fear "leave them alone"

Troy And James looked at each other than back at Stephenie and than ran off. Stephenie walked over to Mike

"Are you ok? you fell pretty hard"

"Ya" Mike replied and Stephenie noticed the mark on Mike's chin

"Hey" Dustin said picking up a chip from the rock mike fell on "how about this one" handing Mike a perfect size rock

"Ya" Mike said smiling

"Ya, this is the monsta killa" Lucas said as he pointed at the rock. Mike turned to Stephenie

"Hey, Where were you this morning? What happened?" Mike said pointing to her nose where Carol had kneed her the night prior

"Oh... uh Steve left without me so I had to walk and I hit my nose... off of a door" Stephenie hated to lie to them, but she didn't want them to know, she didn't want them to worry about her. Will was missing. Lucas and Dustin nodded and then started to walk towards the school again. Mike didn't really seem to buy it though, but noted to ask her when it was just them.

After school Stephenie walked out and saw Steve at his car with Nicole, Carol and Tommy, she walked over there as fast as her legs could get her. It probably looked like Stephenie had steam coming out of her ears.

"Aw Stephenie, i see your nose is bruising up nice" Carol said smirking as she approached

"Steve what the hell? you left without me this morning" Stephenie said ignoring Carols comment

"So?"

"I thought you were 'in charge' of me while mom and dad are gone"

"Your old enough to get your own ass outta bed" Steve said. Stephenie looked to see Jonathan walking by. Steve jumped off his car.

"Hey"

"What's going on?" Jonathan questioned confused on why Steve was talking to him.

"Nicole here was telling us about your work"

"We've heard great things"

"Ya sounds great"

"and we'd love to just take a look you know, of consumers of art"

"Steve stop" Stephenie said

"No, no Stephenie"

"I don't know what your talking about" Jonathan started to walk away but Tommy grabbed his bag and they tossed it around

"He is like totally trembling he must got something to hide" Steve pulled out the photos

"Oh man"
