HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER TEN:
NO MORE SECRETS

They waited for Hopper to come back with the boys and El. Stephenie was tapping her knee with her finger. A habit that had grown in the past few weeks. headlights came through the window and she ran outside. Stephenie went to El and Nancy ran to Mike. Stephenie hugged the girl "Are you ok?" She asked. El nodded quickly. "Thank god I thought we lost you" Stephenie hugged El tightly again but it was interrupted by Nancy asking—

"is that my dress?"

El laid her head on Stephanie's shoulder as Mike explained something mr Clarke had told them. She looked tired, from the last time Stephenie saw her lost the blonde wig.

"Ok in this example Will, Barbra and that Monster are this flee, and this is the upside down, where Will is hiding. Mr Clarke said the only way to get there is a leap through space"

"A gate"

"And we tracked to Hawkins lab with our compasses" everyone looked at Dustin in confusion "so the gate has a really strong magnetic field which can change the way of the compass needle"

"You need a big water tank"

"Mhm"

"How did you know all that"

"He's seen it"

"Is there anyway you could talk to Will, reach him in-."

"The upside down" El

"And my friend Barbra, can you find her too"

Stephenie stood beside El as she used her powers to find Barb and Will. The light flickered and El opened her eyes "I'm sorry" she said Stephanie put a hand on her shoulder for support

"Wh-what what happened?"

"I can't find them"

Stephenie took el to the bathroom for a break.
"It's ok El you're doing what you can" she tells her as El washes her hands. Stephenie wipes away Els tears and El put water on her face. Then Stephenie pulled El into a hug.

"Thank you Steph" Stephenie just smiled at the fact El used her nickname. Then el looked in the mirror then turned around to the tub. Stephenie and El walked to the kitchen where everyone was waiting.

"The tub" el said

"What?" Joyce questioned

"She can find Will and Barb if she's in the tub" Stephenie said for El.

While Dustin was on the phone with mr Clarke Stephenie was leaned up against Hopper, she was tired. She wondered what Steve was doing. Was he worried?

"Mrs Byers do you still have that kiddie pool we bobbed for apples in?" Dustin questioned

"Ya I think so"

"Good then we just need salt, lots of it"

"How much is lots?"

"Fifteen hundred pounds"

"Where are we going to get that much salt?"

They all pulled up to Hawkins middle school, Stephanie, Mike and Nancy went to a shed but it wouldn't open. Mike tried to knock down the door down but he was too weak. Nancy Just pulled on the lock. Stephenie saw a big rock on the ground and picked it up, getting an idea

"Stand back" Stephenie said and she knocked off the lock with the rock

"Woah" was all Nancy and Mike could say before going inside

Stephenie and Nancy grabbed a bunch of hoses and out them a wheel barrel while Mike and Stephenie carried some
"What did she even eat?" Nancy asked

"What?"

"Eleven"

"Oh candy,leftovers, eggos, she likes eggos."

"I knew you were acting weird but I thought it was because of Will"

"I knew you were acting weird, I thought it was because of Steve"

"Hey, no more secrets, okay from now on we tell each other everything, you too Stephenie"

"Ok, do you like Jonathan now?"

"What no it's not like that, do you like eleven?"

"What no, gross"

"Sure Mike" Stephenie said

"Oh yeah, do you like Will?" Stephenie became flustered at the thought of Will "wh-what n-no" Mike and Nancy both laughed at Stephenies loss for words

They all went inside the school and started to fill the tank with the water and salt
El got in, after a, few minutes she started breathing heavy.
"Is barb ok?" Nancy asked

"Gone... gone... gone" El started to say "gone!gone!" She screamed. Joyce calmed her down.

"Castle Byers"

"What"

"Will" They all a gasped, Will was alive.

"Tell him I'm coming for him"

"Hurry" Will said through the walkie

"Tell him to say where he is" After some time el started breathing heavy again, then she came out the water

Stephenie put a towel around El and she sat down between Stephenie and Mike. Stephenie went in the lunch room. She liked to be alone sometimes. Had Steve had called hopper or Joyce to ask where she was?

She was lost in her own thoughts until Dustin and Lucas came in.
"Oh sorry we didn't mean to-"

"It's fine guys"

"We just came to find the chocolate pudding"

"Chocolate pudding?" Stephenie asked

"El needs to be recharged"

"Ok" Stephenie, Lucas and Dustin were looking for the chocolate pudding and then Mike and Eleven were at the table talking, talking about the snowball. It was a dance all the eighth graders went to around Christmas time.

They saw headlights in the windows, and Mike went to check and see if it was Nancy and Jonathan. A minute later he ran back in.

"They found us!" He exclaimed
