HAWKINS BLEEDING! CHAPTER FOURTY TWO:
RINK-O-MANIA

Stephenie put all her things in Els room, where she would be staying, and almost immediately they left to go to Rink-O-Mania, where El wanted them to go. Stephenie grabbed her skates and walked between Will and El as the four walked towards the benches in a line. "Bitchin', right?" El asked, looking towards Mike while Stephenie looked around the rink.

"Yeah, Bitchin' " he agreed "You come here a lot?" Mike asked

"Yes" El said

"No" Will spoke at the same time and El gave a panicked look before turning to Mike

"Will does not" El told him "I go to parties here"

"No—" Will tried to speak

"It's a big party place" El added quickly as they sat down to put on their skates "oh, I forgot, you need socks" El told Mike who was wearing sandles

"Oh shit"

"They sell them at the counter" Will told him and he nodded

"I'll come with you" Stephenie said, pulling him towards the counter and they stopped in front of the man.

"What Colour do you want?" Stephenie asked

"Vomit Green" he told the guy and he quickly grabbed a pair and gave it to Mike

"Thanks" he said as they made their way back to El and Will. Stephenie noticed the look on both their faces— they didn't look to be enjoying each other's company.

"So I asked for vomit green and I got vomit green" Mike told the two as he sat directly between them leaving space beside Will for Stephenie "isn't that awesome?"

Stephenie and Will skated slightly behind El and Mike. She was slowly getting the hang of it but every once in a while she would cling onto Will.

"I'm so bad at this, I'm like Bambi in ice" She heard Mike say

"No, your good, you got this"

Stephenie turned her head to El "is El lying? About having friends?" She asked "you just disagree whenever she says something

"Yeah. She doesn't come here, ever. She's only been here for my moms work" Will stated

"She's acting weird" Stephenie added as they continued skating.

After a bit the group decided to sit down and have some milkshakes. Stephenie had a strawberry one. Will and her sat across from El and Mike as they fought over who's milkshake was better.

"Milkshakes?" A voice came from behind them "yummy" a blonde girl with a few others approached them— these must have been the kids who were giving El a hard time. Angela looked to Stephenie first "I'm Angela" she said

"Stephenie" she stated

"Perfect— and where have you been hiding this handsome thing?"

"Oh— uh... Angela, this is Mike. My boyfriend" El told her

"Angela" she stuck out her hand "pleasure"

"Heard a lot about you, it's really cool to finally meet some of El— Jane's friends" Mike corrected himself

"Friends?" Angela chuckled nodding her head "yeah, come on friend, let's skate shall we?" Angela pulled El up out of her seat and lead her to the rink and Stephenie got up to try and follow them until she heard the clock again. She turned a bit.
