"Sometimes, life punishes you for falling in love with someone who carries such evil".

LISA' S POV び央ハ

"Hey, old lover".

Three words were all it took for me to take one step back and to part my lips, as my mouth went dry. I was paralyzed in place as I stare at the woman my heart once loved, holding the hand of another man. But the bigger betrayal came in when I realized that she was the one behind all of this.

My eyes were wide, "Yeji?".

"What an odd way to greet me, but you finally found the one who murdered your friends, I congratulate you".

"Murdered my friends?". I knew the answer but I asked again.

And again.

I would ask it a thousand times, just to hear those words right. It felt like a nightmare that I couldn't be shaken out of, as she leans on his shoulder and nodded, "Yes, Lisa. It's me".

"I'm the one who took them away and the one who is behind all of your sufferings, how pleasant and amazing is the feeling". She giggled.

With Ruby tied on the chair, I trailed my eyes upon her, only to realize that her eyes never met mine.

She looked down like she knew the way the woman behind her betrayed me

She looked down like she knew the way the woman behind her betrayed me. That she was aware of the evil but resisted the outcome of being so knowing of her surroundings.

Staring at the two of them made me feel nauseous—my nerves were on the edge, but my heartbeat was slowing down, in a way where it was getting hard to explain the scene.

Yeji's proud gaze of destroying me.

She looked back at me, with no remorse in her eyes.
