"A murderer? I supported a wrong girl, bitch."
"She should be rotten in hell!"

Lahat ay napatayo dahil sa mga napanood at na-explain nina Atty. Jelsey at Charisse. Halos lahat ay nagbulong-bulungan kaya umingay talaga dito sa loob. Nagsisigaw na rin ang iba dahil sa sobrang galit sa kanilang nalaman. Halos mabulag na kaming lahat sa sunod-sunod na flash ng camera sa loob ng korte dahil maging mga tao ng midya ay napatayo rin. Dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pagsigaw nito ay kinuha na siya ng mga pulis at pinalabas. Nagpumiglas pa ito pero nailabas din naman siya kasama ang asawa niya. Charisse wiped her tears while gloomy looking at her parents. It must have been hard for her. All the people that she loved have now turned their backs on her.

Wala nang natira sa kaniya. Siya at sarili na lang niya ang natitira. I somehow felt bad for her.

"You k-know that you're g-guilty of murder, right?" Prosecutor Bright asked Charisse while shuttering. Napansin ko na bahagya itong naiiyak pero pinipigilan niya lang.

I wonder why. Wala naman akong alam na direktang koneksyon nilang dalawa.

Charisse was about to speak but Jelsey halted her. "We are requesting to start a separate trial for Charisse. We are very aware that the family of her victim will take it to the prosecution. I'm going to take in charge and defend Charisse."

"Defend her as to what extent, huh?" biglang singit ni Dark at tumayo. "We're all aware that Charisse is guilty of murder, Atty. Jelsey Santos—!"

"We'll take it to another court, Your Honor." sambit ni Jelsey sa judge at hindi pinansin ang sinasabi ni Dark. "This is the case of the defendant, Mr. Anthony Sandoval, who was proven to have nothing to do with the alleged crime. As of this moment, it was very clear that Mr. Sandoval did not do the murder. Only one thing has left."

Tumingin itong si Jelsey kay Severina at tumango. "Witness, it is a fact that you're the victim of a serious physical injury case. Let me ask you." Ngumiti ito at tumingin sa audience. "Sino ang may gawa sayo no'n, Charisse Villaluna. Please, say the name."
