Mr. Anthony Sandoval

"Good evening, Hon!" I greeted as soon as I opened the door of our room with my fiancé. Naisipan kong yayain si John dito sa kwarto namin sa Rivamonte Hotel dahil wala rin naman daw siyang pupuntahan. I smiled and kissed Charisse after she hugged me. "Yeah, I invited John for a dinner. Is that okay with you, Hon?"

Charisse smiled and beamed at his half-brother. "I would be a villain if I didn't let my half-brother here, right?" Charisse said in a serious tone, but after a few seconds, she bursted out laughing and opened the door wide. "Just kidding. Yeah, come in. Maghahanda na muna ako ng makakain natin."

"What about a delivery while we're waiting?" John suggested and went to the big couch. "May resto naman dito sa hotel."

"Right, I'll call Maria to serve us food." Charisse got the telephone and put it on her ear. "He's a great kitchen staff."

"Maria is a 'he'?" I asked, somewhat shocked. Charisse motioned her hand, saying that Maria is gay. I just nodded and shrugged my shoulders. I don't have any problems anyway. "A'right. I'm expecting good food."

After Charisse finished calling Maria, she dropped the telephone and went to the kitchen. Her brother, John, followed her so I just gave them a moment to talk privately. Besides, I'm gonna go change my clothes anyway. Kahit naka-aircon kami ay binabanas pa rin ako sa suot kong coat and tie.

Actually, nagpalit lang talaga ako ng coat, since I have to attend another online meeting later. Tinanggal ko na lang yung necktie ko para hindi na rin ako masyadong masakal. I looked at the mirror and unbutton my longsleeves underneath my coat. Nang makita kong ayos na ang aking sarili ay lumabas na ako ng kwarto dahil nagugutom na rin ako.

After I went outside of our bedroom, I smelled delicious food on the table. Ang akala ko nung una'y luto na ni Charisse pero nakita kong papalabas na ng kwartong ito si Maria kaya nalaman kong food delivery ito. I'm sure that this food is good since the cook of the Rivamonte Hotel is the best. Pumunta na akong lamesa't naabutan ko na doon si John na kumakain. "Is it good?"

John nodded and drank a bit of his water. "Yeah. I thought I was at a 5-star restaurant." he responded and chuckled. I slowly shook my head while laughing because I know that he's just making jokes. Yeah, this food was good. But John will never admit it though, kaya alam kong nagbibiro lang 'yan.

Habang naghahanda pa ng mas maayos na hapunan si Charisse sa kusina ay nag-usap muna kami ni John. Pagkatapos namin kaninang dumaan sa kumpanya niya dahil may kukunin daw siya ay naglaro muna kami ng golf sa isang lugar dito sa Pasig. I recommended that place because I'm regular there. Maayos din ang pagpapatakbo ng lugar na 'yon kaya in-enjoy talaga namin kanina.

"Isang taon na kayo rito, Anthony. Hindi talaga kayo lilipat?" John started the conversation with a question. Dahil kaunti lang naman ang pina-deliver na pagkain ni Charisse ay agad ko rin itong naubos. Same as with John. We wiped the grease off our mouths with a tissue and relaxed our backs on our seats.

"I still have a lot of things to finish here in Rivamonte Hotel. Medyo hindi ko pa mahawakan ng maayos ang planong paglipat dahil masyadong busy sa trabaho. Same as with Charisse's vlogging schedule." I answered.

He chuckled and scoffed, "Busy sa pagpapayaman?"

"Sort of." I retorted and laughed. "Well, I need to secure the future of my family."
